ADEN, YEMEN (ANS - March 25, 2016) -- Sister Sally, a superior of the Missionaries of Charity, an order founded by Mother Teresa, miraculously survived an Islamic State (ISIS) attack on a convent and a home for seniors in Yemen that killed four nuns and 12 others.
A man from the Korwa people group in Chhattisgarh state put his faith in Christ after church prayers healed him. (Christian Aid Mission) In one of India’s most remote areas, among one of its most primitive tribes, Pratik* wandered aimlessly among the predations of the jungle and the tangled muddle of his own mental illness, seemingly lost for weeks at a time. He periodically came back to his senses and returned to his wife at their home in an area of Chhattisgarh, one of India’s poorest and most illiterate states, according to a report by Christian Aid Mission. between sanity and insanity, wandering between his home and the jungle and its perils. His wife feared for his life. This cycle might have continary named Siddharth* had not been gripped with a passion: to reach thousands of people groups in India yet to hear the message of salvation in Christ. Siddharth began his outreach with the Gonds of central India, idol-and nature-worshiping animists who suffer daily from hunger and poverty. With the power of the gospel and the Holy Spirit, he and his team of indigenous missionaries gradually saw Gond villagers’ addiction to alcohol turn into zeal for the Lord, according to Christian Aid Mission. Then he and his team went to unreached areas among the Sahu, Oravan, Khadia, KanwarChamar, and Korwa people, and 50 churches were planted. One of the new converts among the Korwa was a friend of Pratik. This new believer ran into Pratik early last year during one of Pratik’s periods of sanity – a reminder of God’s sovereignty and providential care. “He heard about the Lord Jesus Christ through one of his friends, and he wanted to know more about the Lord,”Siddharth told Christian Aid Mission. The church surrounded him in prayer and God moved powerfully to bring healing. “The Lord delivered him from the mental illness, and he has become completely normal!” Pastor Siddharth exclaimed. Pratik put his faith in Jesus as Lord and Savior, and he became a new person in Christ. “After tasting the love and deliverance of our Lord Jesus Christ, he started visiting the villages in a 15-kilometer radius and preached the gospel, telling what the Lord had done in his life,” Siddharth reported to Christian Aid Mission. “Within six months he has er villages he has brought one or two families to Christ. During my last visit to his village, the Lord enabled me to baptize more than 50 Korwa people.” In that area, more than 400 Korwa have come to Christ though the ministry of Pratik and an indigenous missionary, one of the ministry’s 60 indigenous workers, he said. The Joshua Project describes the Korwa people of India as unreached.“The Korwa are the most primitive tribal people in central India,” Siddharth said.
“As far as we know, no other mission is working among this people group in this part of central India. Their villages are usually on hilltops or covered with thick forest. They are animistic, and they also believe in magic and witchcraft. Some of the workers at the home for seniors yelled, “Don’t kill the sisters! Don’t kill the sisters!” “They caught Sister Judith tied them up, shot them in the head, and smashed their heads,” according to Sister Sally’s account obtained by The Clarion Project.

BRUSSELS, BELGIUM (ANS – March 24, 2016) – An American Christian businessman, Pat Alley, had a miraculous escape from death on Tuesday, March 22, 2016, during the terrorist attack on Brussels’ Zaventem Airport, which was part of double-throng assaults on the airport and metro that killed 31 and wounded at least 230. Mr. Alley, President/CEO of Cade Creek Homes LLC., of Pagosa Springs, Colorado, had just arrived at the airport, and had gone through customs, when two blasts ripped through the building and, despite being close to explosions, he miraculously escaped. Mr. Alley vividly described what occurred to long-time friend, Gordon Howie, an author and CEO of Life and Liberty Media. The Christian businessman told Mr. Howie that he had travelled to Brussels to meet a Jewish businessman he had met a few weeks before in Ghana, so they could discuss a “joint venture” with his company in the west African nation. “I had just gone through customs and was in the receiving hall looking for my friend who was to pick me up,” said Mr. Alley. “I had been waiting in a coffee shop when I decided to get up and go around the corner to check on something and, as soon as I did (5 seconds) there was an awful sounding explosion behind me and dust, concrete and debris were everywhere, as well as people running and screaming

At that time, an airport security person came running by and led us to a back stairwell where we went down twothree flights to the outside. “Of course, I did not realize the gravity of the situation until I was outside and, even then, I did not know that so many people had been killed. It seemed like it was exactly where I had been seconds before I had left the coffee shop, but it was in the checkin hall just above us and the force was so much as to blow all the ceilings out above us! Thousands of people were gathered in the streets outside on that cold day in Brussels.”

WILLIAMSTOWN, KY (ANS March 23, 2016) -- A full-scale replica of Noah’s Ark is nearing completion in Williamstown, KY, displaying the remarkable grandiosity of the all-wood colossus. While Noah and his family spent 100 years toiling on the ark, Ken Ham and his construction team — including dozens of Amish carpenters — will have taken five years by the time they are finished in July and it opens to the public. “We want to reach millions more about the truth in the Gospel, the words of God,” said Ham, who is also the founder of the Creation Museum located 40 miles from the Ark. “I believe that the Ark of Noah is the greatest reminder we have for salvation.” At 510 feet long, 85 feet wide and 51 feet high, the replica is so big it actually shatters previous records — becoming the biggest all-timber structure in the world, according to Ham. To mount the massive construction, Ham employed several dozen Amish carpenters to apply their traditional carpentry skills to meet the Genesis specs. The interior of the ark will have three stories and 130 exhibits, including animal specimen and statues of Noah. He stressed that the region’s religious minorities fear, based on historical precedent, that they would be “excluded or destroyed” if placed at the mercy of sectarian-inspired Sunni Muslim majorities. While socioeconomic factors contribute to the upsurge of political

The various leaderships of Sunni jihadist groups and other insurgents in Syria and Iraq are driven more by the desire to restore lost Sunni supremacy than by socio-economic grievances. As an eyewitness observer in Syria early in 2011, Balanche reported that the sectarian aspect of the “Arab Spring” uprisings was clearly visible while the antigovernment protests were in their infancy. Anti-government protests were occurring mainly in Sunni Muslim neighborhoods, and were accompanied by anti-minority rhetoric. Balanche does not find it sur
prising that Syria’s Alawites, Christians and other religious minorities tended to stand with President Assad and the Syrian government rather than with the Sunni-dominated rebels. The devastating conflict in Syria, Balanche asserted, has become especially difficult to solve because sectarian divisions have been “manipulated by regional powers who want to expand their influence in the area.” He described it as a proxy war between a Sunni axis led by Turkey and Saudi Arabia and a Shi’ite “Iranian axis,” likening it to the Thirty Years’ War in central Europe four hundred years ago. Addressing the role of powers
outside the region, Balanche criticized the United States and France’s “obsession with regime change in Syria,” and their implicit willingness to see the region emptied of religious minorities in order to achieve their political goals. He spent ten years doing fieldwork in Syria and Lebanon. Christian Solidarity International (CSI) issued a Genocide Warning for the Middle East in the autumn of 2011 after observing the collapse of state institutions and an upsurge of sectarian violence. Palmetto Outreach Brings Salvation Message to All By Bob and Madeline Duffany Saturday, March 19, 2016 was a day full of promises and fulfillment for certain residents of Palmetto, Florida. On this day, Bob and Madeline Duffany of Song of the Heart Ministries reached out to this local community in love and in tangible help for those who might be in need. Bob and Madeline are full gospel ministers ordained by Charles Kennedy, Pastor of faith International Christian Center (FICC) of Bradenton, Florida. In addition to free provisions of toys for the children, clothing for all, and other household and useful items, one and all heard the Gospel of Salvation of Jesus Christ and received candy and gospel information in special envelopes, the salvation messages written in Spanish and English. Between twenty and thirty people attended in spite of threatening rain, which held off until the exact moment when the entire outreach concluded. Then the sprinkles and the rain came.
This particular event was the result of Madeline’s outspoken desire of several days previous, when she declared that the Lord inspired her to prepare and carry out such a mission. “Every time I pass one of the migrant worker camps in Palmetto, my heart aches for those people who work so hard and are in such need of the Gospel of Christ, and of the most elementary necessities,” declared Madeline. “I am especially concerned for the children. “Bob and I have for many years done missionary work on the White Earth Indian Reservation in Minnesota, and other outreaches in Maryland, Pennsylvania and Florida.We understand the hardships and misery of those in desperate need for everyday necessities in their lives, as well as for the Gospel of Salvation provided for WHOSOEVER will believe---Whosoever means All who will believe – white, red, brown, black, yellow – ALL.

Gypsy Outreach For the last 25 years Cleveland Baptist Church in Cleveland, OH has hosted the Gypsy Outreach Ministry. Originally started by Missionary Walter Stevens, the Outreach ministry to Gypsy’s has seen two other men lead the ministry. A little background on the history of this ministry begins on the Friday following Thanksgiving in 1990. Gypsy Outreach Ministry held its first service under the leadership of Missionary Walter Stevens. This beginning had the full support and encouragement of both Pastor Dr Roy Thompson and incoming Pastor, Dr Kevin Folger. It has continued to be blessed by God with souls saved, lives changed, and men called into the ministry. Gypsy outreach was a “first of its kind” type of ministry, being the first concerted effort by Independent Baptist to focus on the Gypsy population in the U.S.
The fruit of Gypsy Outreach has been used by God to lead this ministry into its future. Lawerance Evans, a convert of Gypsy Outreach, assumed the Pastoral responsibilities for the ministry and the Gypsy souls that it represents in 1997. He faithfully led the ministry until God called him to establish a like ministry in West Palm Beach, Florida. Nick Evanovich, also a convert of Gypsy Outreach, is presently leading the ministry and has since 2013. Both of these men were saved through the Gypsy Outreach and received their Bible training at Heritage Bible Institute, a ministry

By Louise Alleva Did you know that most of the emotional problems we have in our relationships with God and other people are caused by what we believe about ourselves not by what we think others might be saying or how God really feels about us? We have bought into believing these lies and unless we find out about them and learn how to replace them with truth we will never have a fulfilling life.

If we begin to realize this he would have a lot of trouble, so he has a simple tactic. He tries to get us to 1. Depend on people for our identity 2. To trust in the opinions of others in how we perform. Even now if we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior we can still not believe how much He loves us. But in God’s Kingdom there’s only one way He sees us. It’s WHO we are, not WHAT we can do for Him.
Some of these lies are: “I must be perfect, I must have everyone’s love and approval, my unhappiness is someone else’s fault, I often take things personally, it is my Christian duty to meet all of the needs of others and my worth is based on how well I perform.” These are just a Let’s look at familiar scrip-

It just says whoever believes.Verse 17 says God didn’t send his Son to judge us for our brains, our beauty, and our ability to get along well with others. God sent us His Son so that we might be saved through Him. Period. I

Freedom from pleasing people takes time but it’s worth it. God’s Word in Psalms 139 explains why. “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that that full well. My frame was
not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. Psalms 139:13-16 NIV Read this scripture often. As you read it begin to understand God’s love for you, and He knew you even before you were born andHe has a destiny for you. Sister Sally started to run toward the convent to warn Father Thomas, but realized the IS fighters were already there, so she decided to hide in the refrigerator room at the senior home. The IS fighters searched everywhere for her, because they knew there were five nuns in total. At least three times they came to the refrigeration room looking for Sister Sally. Sister Sally

COURAGE By Ed McGraw I have an embarrassing admission to make: I saw Rambo six times 1982, eight times in 1985, four times in 1988, and nine times in 2008. I have to admit that each one sent a tingle up my spine. They just happen to be about a great subject-courage. Whenever I hear of someone showing courage instead of cowardice, I find myself saying, “That’s what I want to be like.” I wish I had more courage. I do not want to be debilitated by fear or paralyzed by anxiety. I do not want to cave in under difficult circumstances and compromise my convictions or give up on difficult challenges. I do not want to be a coward; I want to be courageous. This is a biblical wish, for 2 Timothy 1:7 says, God did not give us a spirit of timidity but a spirit of power. I regret the fact that we usually hear about courage only when someone does some extreme act of heroism that attracts media attention. Dramatic, once-in-a-lifetime opportunities never seem tohappen to ordinary folk like you and me. But the older I get, the more I understand that it takes a great deal of
courage to face life’s ordinary, everyday challenges. Every single day we make choices that show whether we are courageous or cowardly. We choose between the right thing or the convenient thing, sticking to a conviction or caving in for the sake of comfort, greed or approval. We choose either to believe in God and trust Him, even though we do not always understand His ways, or to second-guess Him and cower in doubt and fear. These choices come our way every day, rapid fire. People say that Christianity is for weak people, cowards and quiche eaters. I have always been fascinated by that accusation, because in my experience the exact opposite is true. It takes a great deal of oldfashioned courage to be a Christian. My faith demands the best I have. In fact, a lot of courage is required even to become a Christian. The Bible says that to become a Christian, you have to own up to your sins before a holy God. That takes courage. When I talk with people about Christianity, I tell them, “You have to repent before a holy God.” You have to tell him the truth
about yourself, that you have lied, hurt people, or cheated. When I say that, I see terror in their eyes. They do not want to be that open and vulnerable. They shift in their seats. They look at their watches and wonder how to get out of such confrontation. What is going on? Inside them, each voice is saying, Confession would be painful and humiliating, and it would make you feel uncomfortable and exposed, but it’s the right thing to do and you have to do it. At the same time, another voice is saying, do not look at yourself that closely. Take it easy. Go with the flow. Cover your tracks. Too many people cave in to their fears and say, “I just cannot do it. It would be too embarrassing, too humiliating.” So they say ridiculous things like “Who me a sinner? No, not me. I have lived a pretty good life. I may have made a few minor mistakes in judgment, nobody’s perfect... When I hear that kind of response, I have a strong urge to say, you are gutless. You know what you should do, but you are too chicken to do it. You do not have the

guts to tell God the truth about who you really are. You are afraid of the pain, the embarrassment. You are too frightened to admit the obvious. I also want to add, you are too chicken to repent, then please do not ever say Christianity is for weak people. Apparently it’s for people with more courage than you have. If it takes courage to become a Christian, it takes even more courage to be a Christian. Paul says in 2 Corinthians 5:7,“We walk by faith, not by sight.” We are not alone, God “shall direct thy paths” (Proverbs 3:6 KJV). But following Jesus Christ demands an enormous amount of courage. Quite often Jesus teachings sound illogical, irrational, counter cultural. Sometimes Jesus is so challenging that I say, “No, I think I will just crawl back into my shell and play it safe.” Then the Holy Spirit says, “Where’s your courage? Get up and walk. You can trust God. Cowards do not last long on their spiritual pilgrimages. They shrivel up and disappear. It takes enormous courage to repent and become a Christian. It takes enormous courage to follow Jesus’ teachings in the Christian life. His callings demand the best that you can summon. It takes courage to begin a walk with Christ, to reach out your hand and trust Christ. It takes courage to lead a life of obedience to Christ. Artwork for your next project! The Cults Series Introduction: By Gayle O’Connor As I begin this article, today is Saturday, March 19, 2016. I almost started another article last week but I just could not seem to putit into words. This past Thursday I learned why. God had the article He wanted written. This is just the introduction to a series of articles dealing with God’s power, mercy, and grace to bring an entire family out of a “cult” and to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ our Saviour. I do not know how long this will take or how many articles I will be writing on this subject but I do know that it is well worth writing about and I sincerely hope that my readers will take it to heart. I have a very close connection to this subject. My dear sweet husband, who is a wonderful man of God, was born into this cult and he is the only member of his family that has, by God’s grace, been saved out of it. As a child he was taught a very twisted version of the scriptures and told that it was “the truth” and they were the only ones who had “the truth”. He was taught to love God but the Jesus he knew was“the Jesus of the cults.” Yes, there is “a Jesus of the cults.” He is not the Jesus of the bible, although all these followers believe that he is. This is a terribly sad thing because people who are caught up in this particular cult have a sincere love for Almighty God and are trying to work for eternal life.Jesus said in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” The Jesus they know was “created” by God as Michael the archangel and possesses no deity. They do not believe in the Godhead and they receive their interpretation of the Holy Scriptures from a group of men in an organization, thereby making the organization their Holy Spirit, so to speak. In these articles I hope to be able to show you how to evangelize the people of this cult so that when I have finished you will be burdened for them also. You may be saying to yourself that you don’t need me to tell you how to give the gospel to them and I truly hope that you do not. Although, I have heard from way too many that when they have them at their door, they take that opportunity to “tell them what’s what” about the bible which causes them to leave immediately. Sad to say, I have heard that from many Christians who I would have thought had more love for the lost. I hope you will stay with me as we go on this soul winning journey that the Lord has given me. Please pray for me as I expect the demons to be unleashed. The old serpent is not going to give up easily. I truly am not worthy to be used of God in such a great way. 2 Corinthians 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

March 28, 2016 Dear Reverend: I am so tired of all the people around me. All day long I work and slave, then on my way home I see a twenty-two year old man begging for money. If I stop at a fast food restaurant, the people who work there are so slow. Now, concerning the political realm, every one of the candidates do not measure up in my opinion. Next, as I enter my home, here come the neighbors with their kids. They always need something – they borrow, but never return anything. I don’t understand why a righteous church-going person like myself has to put up with such nonsense. I know a lot of Scriptures and I attend church often. But things never change for ME! My husband would rather read the newspaper or watch TV instead of hearing about all the things that bother me. When I start telling him about the people in church who annoy me or the neighbors, he always finds an excuse to take an exit. On top of all that, all the things that I complain about seem to come back upon me! I wish I could find more joy and peace in my life. I am lonely and wish I had friends. Dear Lonely: You can cause calamity to come into your own life by speaking harsh, unjust things concerning others. Here’s my advice, straight from God’s Word: if you will sit quietly and read His Word, things will change. Isaiah Chapter 58 will be so enlightening to you. Listen! It instructs you how to take your mind off yourself and how to help others. “Then shall your light break forth like morning, and your healing shall spring forth speedily. Your right relationship (righteousness) with God will go before you, conducting you to peace and prosperity. And the glory of the LORD will be your rearguard.” God also says, “Then you shall call, and the LORD will answer; you shall cry, and He will say, ‘Here I am.’ If you take away the yoke from your midst, the pointing of the finger (in scorn), and speaking wickedness, If you extend your soul to the hungry and satisfy the afflicted soul, then your light shall dawn in the darkness, and your darkness shall be as the noonday.
