In medical emergency, resistant husband got glimpse of hell, toured heaven

As a self-made man focused on providing an abundant lifestyle for his family, Jim Woodford had no place for God in his life.

However, Jim is married to a strong Christian, Lorraine, who prayed for him diligently, according to a report by CBN. “God please change his heart,” she prayed. “Bring him to know Jesus Christ and just make a change in him and deal with this materialistic way.”

Jim was diagnosed with Guillian-Barre syndrome at age 61, a rare, incurable autoimmune disorder in which the body’s immune system erroneously attacks the peripheral nerves and damages their myelin insulation.

The syndrome results in “unremitting, electrical current pain in every part of my body, accompanied with paralyzing inability to move,” Jim told CBN. Lorraine saw changes in his personality as the condition worsened. “He was just getting to be a very angry person. The pain was just consuming him.”

Despite the ordeal, Jim refused to turn to God. At a certain point, Lorraine began to get impatient.

She said, “God, I’ve been praying, but I haven’t seen any change. Maybe You just have to break him to remake him.”

inspect a field he wanted to sell. To manage his pain that day, he had taken four times the normal dosage for his medication. As he sat in his truck, he felt a burning sensation in his legs.

“Suddenly I realized I couldn’t breathe,” he recounts. “And it was as though the cab of the truck was filling with water. As I’m about to draw my last breath, from somewhere inside of me that I didn’t even know existed…I cried out ‘God! Forgive me! Forgive me!'”

When Jim didn’t return home for quite a while, Lorraine got worried and called the police. The authorities discovered Jim slumped over in his truck, unresponsive, and rushed him to the hospital.

Lorraine called upon a circle of prayer warriors to lift him up.

At the hospital, the lead physician hit her with jolting news: “Your husband is severely brain-damaged. There’s no brain activity there. We have him on full life support because his organs have all shut down.”

“There is no way to bring him back,” the doctor told her.

But something remarkable happened to Jim after the doctors had given up all hope. Whether in the body or out of the body, Jim was supernaturally transported to a

precipice between Heaven and Hell.

“I look to the right and there’s this incredible vista of beautiful flowers and meadows. And I turned my vision to the left and that beautiful green grass went from green to brown to scorched to black and dropped off in a crevasse. I saw the most hideous creature you could ever imagine.

And I fell back in abject terror. The look of hatred in its eyes, for me and all of mankind.

Jim had the presence of mind to recognize he faced a stark choice. “At this point, I turned toward the light and I raised both hands this time, and I cried out, ‘God, help me.

Help me!'”

His subsequent testimony is that three angels gave him a tour of Heaven. “I realized I was looking at none other than Jesus Christ, the Son of God. And He looked at me with those violet eyes, and all I heard was, ‘James, what did you do with the life My Master gave you?’

“I had no answer…But as I looked into His eyes, He smiled at me. He smiled at me. He knew me. I saw such intense love and forgiveness for me, who deserved nothing. And that was the moment…I was His forever.

The more she talked to him, she knew he was in his right mind and that God had restored him.

Suddenly she realized God had answered her prayer to “break Jim to remake him.”

As Jim began to follow Jesus and grow in his faith, he became a gentler man.

Jim still has indicators for Guillan-Barre syndrome, but miraculously, he is completely pain-free.

Eight of the young people traveled to Tikal, the famous archeological site of the Mayan ruins in the northern part of Guatemala to compete.

Two competitions were held: one for children under age 15 called "Niño Maya" and one for adults

called "Hombre Maya." The two seventeen-year-old team members, Fernando Sayes, and Sabino Cruz competed in the 16-19 year old category of the grueling "Hombre Maya" triathlon which involved a 1 km swim, a 34 km bike ride up rolling hills, and then a 6 km run up to the pyramids of Tikal. Fernando won first place in his category and Sabino second place.

The Spirit Of Truth Dear Reverend: I’m in a dark place. I can’t stop drinking. Going to many church services and having people pray for me is not making any difference. this mode of life will surely end in eternal death, and he longs to escape.

But see how he is bound with a hundred chains and held in bondage by seven devils, fierce and strong. With all his might he strives to free his right arm of one huge, bloated devil, called drunkenness, who seeks to hold him down with fetters.

He struggles against the chains, but they cannon be broken. He is a prisoner. See him wrapped in the coils of a python which tightens its grip the more the man struggles.

Can this one be delivered from pride? Lust and crime? Can purity and joy take the place of the road to wickedness?

All his resolutions and vows are powerless.

They could not deliver one so lost.

The churches, ministers, and prayers have pulled off one coil of the old serpent, but like a huge constrictor, it folded itself again. His nature is still vile though he longs to be set free.

Some of you remember how you took the pledge, many times, but broke it again and again. All your

resolutions and vows were powerless. They could not deliver you; they could not set you free.

All the arts of consolation, music, dance, and mirth; all the church services could not break off the chains.

Yes, Christ is merciful, but you say you have no part in Him. Your heart is too hard, too vile. You spend your life in a stony place, weeping night and day.

But, oh sinner, lift your eyes and see Jesus, our Savior bleeding on a cross. Joy now takes the place of sorrow. Christ places on you a garment of praise and removes the spirit of heaviness.

“Look what I have done!” says the Lord. Behold your glorious King! I have forgiven you! I have blotted out your iniquities! I have chosen you and have not cast you away. You are my son who was lost but now are found, who was dead but is now alive.

Take courage now, Christian. Hell is alive against us and earth is on fire with anger, but it cannot take away our salvation.

Stand, soldier of Christ!

Jesus has given us the power to tread on his enemies and destroy them.

Grace reigns in the thick of battle. Underneath us are the everlasting arms of our Savior.

We must wage war to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. There has never been such a battle as this, but Christ is more than a conqueror.

MY FEELINGS ARE HURT

Have you noticed lately how easily we can be offended at what someone says, has said, doesn’t say, wished they would say, pass us by, ignore us, look at us funny, not hug, not smile as just a few examples? I also have felt offended and was even accused of offending someone else without even realizing it.

It all seems like a vicious cycle of people hurting people. But it is more important to realize that if we, as Christians are still easily offended and still harbor unforgiveness, fear, resentment, and disappointment we can undermine our spiritual growth and if left unchecked we can be totally “shipwrecked” in our faith. It’s because we haven’t grown spiritually enough to follow and trust Jesus in the details of our life.

The main cause of feeling offended is that we expect others to notice us because of who we are or what we feel we have earned or something we think we have the right to receive. A few examples could be, “Everyone knows that I am a counselor and yet someone I have counseled asked if I could recommend a good counselor. ”“I walked up to a group talking together at church and they acted like I wasn’t there.”

“The pastor passed me by and did not speak to me.” “ I just do not get the recognition or respect that I deserve.”

We all have and still experience one or more of these examples and felt hurt. But it doesn’t work

very well to simply resolve to not be offended or not act offended. In order to have victory over an offense is to change what drives us to be hurt in the first place. Following are a few steps that may help you.

1. Expect the flesh to be the flesh. Once you have realized that someone has a good heart, then do not change how you feel about them just because they had a bad day and stepped on your toes. If you expect someone to always act righteously, you’ll be disappointed most of the time. If you have no expectations from anyone then you’ll be able to accept them for who they are and at times even support them or be glad for them. We have to put our faith in God and God alone and never the flesh.

2. Be quick to forgive.

Remember we all have our failures, and we also desperately need God’s mercy therefore be quick to forgive and while we understand that God also have mercy on us when we fail. Matt. 6:1415; Eph. 4:32; Col 3:13.

Remember, unforgiveness is sin and will take us out of fellowship with God and remove us from the transforming and anointing power of the Holy Spirit.

3. Love those who are hard to love. Understand that the person who is the most offensive is often the person who has been hurt the most. They have the greatest need to be genuinely accepted and loved.

4. Equip yourself with the Word of God. Our

success in our relationship with others will be based on how much personal time we spend in prayer, reading the Bible, and developing an expression of His grace, mercy, love and victory in our life. Someone who is not spiritually equipped will have nothing of eternal value to offer to anyone else.

Others will eventually realize that they are like an empty vessel and will move on to be watered and fed in the Spirit.

5. And finally, STICK WITH IT! As you practice these steps and stop being so easily offended you will experience a greater sense of peace and joy in your life. You will change your attitude which will become evident to those around you. Be aware though that the enemy (Satan) does not want you to succeed and will fight you at every turn. Don’t let weariness or pride cause you to stumble.

Trust in the Lord and not in yourself, Proverbs 3:5-6. As you progress through the process you will notice an increase of the beauty of the quality of your life, and you will become more productive in the Kingdom of God more than you could imagine. All it takes is a decision to humble yourself and to get active in your faith.

Evangelist/Prophet | sarahjansson.com Many times, the people of God pray "Not my will but thy will be done oh God" But sometimes there may be something in our lives we may be having a hard time letting go of. It could be a fleshly desire, a habit, a hang up, an attitude, a person, an old way of doing or seeing things, an old wound, or unforgiveness etc. You need a revelation that will set you free from that thing that is tied up within you.

In every part of our lives, we need the power of the Holy Spirit to accomplish the purposes of Jesus.

We don’t clean up to take a bath. We take a bath to clean up. It is the same spiritually. We need Jesus, we need the Holy Spirit. We need the power of the Word of God to break free from every chain and shackle in our lives, and to accomplish His will for our lives. It is the Son that came to set us free by the power of His blood shed on the cross and taken up into the holy of holies on our behalf.

Jesus said that He would send another Comforter, the Holy Spirit, and He did as promised on that day in the upper room.

He is still available for all who will open their hearts to receive Him. He wants us to look just like Him. Even to come to Jesus to begin with, we need the Holy Spirit to breath within us the breath of life. The Holy Spirit is our helper in all aspects of life. The Holy Spirit is our comforter when we need His comfort. The Holy Spirit is our healer, our intercessor, and the one who intercedes from within us. The Holy Spirit is our strengthen, and He is always there to strengthen us according to the Word of God. The Holy Spirit is the One that reveals Jesus to us, and the Word of God. As we get to know the Holy Spirit more and more, then He will bring us closer to Jesus. This is why He comes to live inside our spirit man. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Christ, the same spirit that raised Christ from

the dead, and He comes to live inside of us to set us free from the power of sin. So, as we yield and surrender all that we are to Him, and we just lay our entire will on His Holy Altar, that thing that is wrapped up within us, or around us, will also be laid on His altar to be burned up with His Holy Fire. If someone is having a hard time laying his will on the altar, then that is where we invite the Holy Spirit to come in a little deeper and gently take it from us. After all, we can take nothing with us in the end my friend, but souls.

The Holy Spirit is calling Watchmen in these last days, that will discern the will of God for the last day church, and quit doing church as usual, with all man’s personal agendas, programs, and ways. Church, it is not working. Man can make excuses, but the truth is that the Holy Spirit has gone ahead of us and many of the churches are still lagging behind trying to figure out how to make their old ideas work..

Watchmen are needed to get up on the wall and discern with Eagle eyes what the Holy Spirit wants to do. Bringing the Revelation of the Love of our Risen Savor and the Precious Person of the Holy Spirit. Watchmen that will have their mouths to the ear of God, and not let up till we hear what the Unity of the Godhead, (Papa God, Yeshua and Holy Spirit) still want to accomplish in these last days. God in and through me with all that He is. The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead, to flow through me, with all His love and power. Watchmen that will speak for the Holy Spirit the present-day revelations of heaven. Watchmen that will shout to the body to wake up and not settle for church as usual. God wants to do a new thing, bring in a new season, and that season starts today. Who will answer the call? Who will hear the heart of God? Who

The Word says, Behold I am doing a New thing in the earth. Old things and old ways of doing and seeing have passed away, behold I make all things New, the Lord says. Spring turns to summer, summer to fall.

Seeds grow into beautiful flowers; they don't stay as seeds. Gods Word never changes, but the Revelation of His Word opens wider and deeper, and brighter as we are willing to lay down our wills, our lives and seek His face as never before.

We know that every moment we have, God has given us, so let us be willing to give it back to God. Any effort towards God is good, church, but the Holy Spirit is looking for those that will go higher and be Watchmen on the Wall of Zion and blow the trumpet before the Body and call out for the Church to come up higher and higher, deeper and deeper. Seek His face and His love with no agendas but to know Him in all His Glory and make the greater fullness of Him known to all the world... It’s time church, God is tired of church as usual. It is time to sound the alarm on His Holy Mountain.

- Look! This is not the faith of Peter and John that healed this man! This is the faith in the name of Jesus! Peter made it clear that it was not their own power or godliness!

This man received revelation, by word of mouth.

His faith had made him whole! To my surprise, this was not faith in being healed, this was faith in Jesus name imparted to him by Peter and John!

In 2015, a federal lawsuit was filed against then-California Attorney General (AG) Kamala Harris, who had threatened severe sanctions against the Thomas More Law Center (TMLC) if names and contact information of its major donors were not disclosed to her office.

In a 6-3 decision, the U.S. Supreme Court sided with TMLC, a leading national public interest law firm based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, in its case Thomas More Law Center v. Bonta. In doing so, SCOTUS held that California's law requiring donor disclosure was facially unconstitutional.

"When it comes to the freedom of association," Chief Justice Roberts wrote in the Court's opinion, "the protections of the First Amendment are triggered not only by actual restrictions on an individual's ability to join with others to further shared goals. The risk of a chilling effect on association is enough, because First Amendment freedoms need breathing space to survive."

Richard Thompson, TMLC's President and Chief Counsel, hailed the Supreme Court's ruling as a "landmark victory for the First Amendment." He ANN

On March 24, 2015, then-California AG Harris threatened in a letter to TMLC that if the Law Center did not provide her office with a list of its major donors within 30 days, the Law Center could lose its right to solicit donations in California and TMLC's officers and tax preparers could be held personally liable for any penalties.

Rather than comply under threat, TMLC filed a federal case claiming the AG was violating TMLC's and its donors' First Amendment rights of free speech, freedom of association, and the free exercise of religion, citing the 1958 SCOTUS ruling in NAACP v. Alabama as precedent.

A 3-day bench trial was held by Federal District Court Judge Manuel Real beginning on Sep-

tember 13, 2016. Auditors and investigators from the AG's office testified that they never had a complaint against TMLC; they have never investigated TMLC; and they do not normally use major donation reports to start investigations.

On November 16, 2016, Judge Real permanently enjoined the AG from requiring TMLC to file a copy of its major donor list. The AG appealed Judge Real's decision to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, which vacated the injunction. On August 26, 2019, TMLC asked the U.S. Supreme Court (petition for certiorari) to review the Ninth Circuit's ruling. The Supreme Court agreed, and on April 26, 2021, the Court heard oral arguments on the case.

In the Internet Age, where doxing one's opponents has led to job loss, boycotts, ostracization, and violence, the fear of such repercussions should one's charitable contributions become public could be enough to stymy giving, leaving the personal beliefs of many Americans to go unrepresented in the public square. Today, the family of six arrived safely in the United States where they will apply for asylum.

On December 9, 2018, Early Rain Covenant Church was raided by the government. Hundreds of believers were interrogated and some were arrested. Thus, in just one night, the church suffered an overwhelming disaster and lost its pastors, elders, theological seminary, church school, and church building.

Church members who were released after their arrests disclosed that some believers were forced to take unknown drugs and give false statements against church leadership during their detention, with the intention to make others believe that the church

ac- tivities. If they were to disobey, they would be put in handcuffs and shackles, their hands and legs tied together, and deprived of sleep for up to ten days.

Liao Qiang and his family were implicated. They were repeatedly questioned and had their interrogations recorded by the police. "In fact, every time I was summoned, I would still be nervous.

When they took me into the car, I would be situated in the middle between several people. And then you would have no clue what is going to happen next," Liao Qiang recalled.

Before the 2019 Lunar year, Liao Qiang and his family planned to invite the arrested church elders to have a New Year's Eve dinner. However, the information was leaked. Liao was handcuffed and had his movements restricted for 24 hours.

Liao's determination for freedom was also prompted by the threats posed toward his child, Wen Wen. The Chengdu

threatened to forcefully take away his adopted child even though he possesses the adoption certificate issued by the government.

He was three years old at that time and had fibrosarcoma, a malignant tumor. Liao recalled the police telling him that Wen Wen grew up in a "cult family" and must be saved. He continued, "When I adopted my child, he was only three years old. If the authorities take him away, I will not get him back."

In late 2018, Liao's daughter, Ren Ruiting, and his son-in-law, Peng Ran, were stopped for investigation in the streets of Chengdu. Peng recounted, "On December 16, I was walking on the streets with my wife on this day when the police pinned our phone locations. We thought to ourselves that something was unusual. Taiwan's Refugee Law has yet to come into law meaning the relevant processing mechanism for mainland Chinese citizens applying for asylum is incomplete. Therefore, they were unable to work legally and could not stay tum. Though Nations Church only officially launches on August 15, 2021, they have already seen more than 800 people come to Christ on the streets of Orlando, Florida, through their weekly outreaches. More than two hundred people are meeting weekly in small discipleship groups across the city.

Shocker: Judge rules Christian baker must make Transgender Cakes

Supreme Court rejects Christian Florist who refused Gay Wedding "The U.S. Supreme Court has rejected the appeal of a Christian florist from Washington state fined refusing to make a floral arrangement for a samesex wedding because she felt it went against her religious beliefs about marriage," reports ChristianPost.

In doing so, the Washington Supreme Court ruling against the Christian florist remains intact.

Conservative Justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito and Neil Gorsuch each said the court should have taken the case. [Justices Barrett, Kavanaugh, and Roberts declined.]

Though the case dates back to 2013, religious liberty legal organization Alliance Defending Freedom said the fight to defend Barronelle Stutzman, the owner of Arlene’s Flowers and Gifts in Richland, Washington, for standing for her beliefs is not over.

"Barronelle Stutzman kindly served a gay customer for YEARS before declining to make art for a ceremony that's sacred in her religion. She was sued & persecuted for acting on deeply held beliefs," ADF tweeted after Friday’s decision.

"SCOTUS' decision not to hear this case is disappointing –– but our fight isn't over," ADF continued.

As a Southern Baptist, Stutzman denied making

the floral arrangement for the wedding of Rob Ingersoll and Curt Freed because she holds the belief that marriage is the union of one man and one woman.

In 2015, she was fined by a county court just over $1,000. She is liable to pay upwards of thousands of dollars in legal fees.

The Washington Supreme Court ruled against Stutzman in February 2017. It argued she violated the state's anti-discrimination laws protecting based on sexual orientation when she refused to make floral arrangements for the same-sex wedding.

The Washington court unanimously upheld its 2017 decision when it heard Stutzman’s case

"We, therefore, hold that the conduct for which Stutzman was cited and fined in this case — refusing her commercially marketed wedding floral services to Robert Ingersoll and Curt Freed because theirs would be a same-sex wedding — constitutes sexual orientation discrimination under the [state law]," the ruling read.

Stutzman was sued by the same-sex couple, represented by the [Anti-Christian] Liberties Union.

An anti-Christ judge has ignored the Constitution and Supreme Court precedent, forcing a Christian baker to make 'transgender' celebration cakes, in violation of his conscience.

"A Colorado judge has stunningly ruled that an artist's creations are not speech at all and the state is allowed to force a baker to violate his own religious beliefs in order to submit to the demands of a transgender activist," reports WND. The ruling from A. Bruce Jones, a judge in the state's Second Judicial District, came in a lawsuit brought by Autumn Scardina, a lawyer who was born a man and now lives as a woman.

He demanded a cake from Jack Phillips of Masterpiece Cakeshop in the Denver suburban area. He wanted it pink and blue to mark his 'transition' to a woman.

Phillips is the baker who earlier was attacked under Colorado's anti-discrimination law for declining to provide a

wedding cake for a same-sex duo. A state commission publicly excoriated him for his faith and likened him to Nazis, an act that ultimately brought a rebuke from the U.S. Supreme Court for being hostile to faith.

The court decided that case in Phillips' favor.

Critical to that decision was the fact that evidence revealed that when homosexual bakers in Colorado were asked to create a cake condemning homosexuality, they refused on the grounds it was a message they couldn't support. The state supported their refusal yet required Phillips to undergo re-indoctrination because he wanted the same control over his messages...

The judge claimed the 'requested cake' would not be 'any type of symbolic or expressive speech protected by the First Amendment.'

"Mr. Phillips may often use artistic techniques and tools to create baked goods. However, the fact

that goods or services may involve some level of artistry or skill does not transform all such goods into 'expressive speech,'" the judge claimed.

The state of Colorado earlier had joined Scardina in the battle against Phillips' faith, but dropped its case when he sued the state for harassment in federal court. In 2019, the state and Phillips reached a settlement and withdrew their complaints.

Scardina then sued Phillips separately.

Evidence shows Phillips has a policy of declining to make cakes with messages regarding Halloween, alcohol, racism and marijuana, or other issues that violate his faith.

Vujicic told The Christian Post that he was disturbed to learn that most banks donate part of their profits to Planned Parenthood and other abortion groups.

He believes Christians need to do more to stop abortion, and, with a background in finance, he and Betsy Gray, the executive director of Network Medical Women’s Center, decided to create a bank that donates only to life-affirming causes.
