Two mothers, Rifkatu Ayuba and Mary Ishaya, said they recognized their daughters in the video, while a third mother, Yana Galang, identified five of the missing girls, Reuters reported. “One mother said her daughter looked well, much better than she had feared, giving some hope to the families,” stated World Watch Monitor. “It is the first potential evidence that the girls may be alive since May 2014. As a child and into adulthood I struggled with finding God. He seemed distant and impersonal. During my childhood there was so much hurt and abandonment that the focus was how to get the acceptance, love and safety I so desperately needed from those close to me. I assumed that if people were like that, God must be like that too. I later described my search for God to be like a patchwork quilt. I was influenced by several fellowships including Catholic, Methodist, Lutheran, Baptist, and non-denominational all patched together to make up Louise’s religion quilt. In college I searched for God by taking Religions of the World and thought wow, all I had to do is pick one from all those “isms”! Judaism, Hinduism, Taoism, Buddhism etc.
Then I settled the whole thing in my 30’s by choosing New Age Transcendentalism. Long word but not a good choice. However, God never gave up. I was already His when I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior as a teenager in the Lutheran Church. All He had to do was to nudge me toward the Truth, His love and encourage my perseverance. The Lord never gave up and neither did I. That is the message I want to offer you. Do not give up. He will not. I am not that patched quilt anymore. I am a complete design of Father God’s making and I count it all joy! One day I came across this quote. “You are Father’s Happy Thought”. I thought this was such a great way to describe His love along with the scriptures. Below is a list

Dear Reverend: I was raised in church and accepted Jesus when I was eight years old. I keep thinking about this healing of our physical bodies. I see people in church who receive healing, but somehow, I get more depressed each time. Why don’t I get healed? I’ve confessed my sin of living with my boyfriend. He says he will marry me someday soon. Meanwhile, he sees other women at the local dance club where I am working. We have a baby on the way that the physician says is too small in the womb and seems very frail. I am so discouraged. Can Jesus see me in my sorrow?

Your first healing has to be the healing of your spirit, so that you will have contact with Jesus. If your spirit is out of harmony, it is broken down, and you can’t get faith for healing.

This month I hope to give you a better understanding of how to share the gospel with the Jehovah’s Witnesses’. If you haven’t had people from this particular cult knock on your door in the past, chances are you will. Now you can wait for them to come knocking or you can call one of their Kingdom Halls or go onto their website (jw.org), schedule a bible study and they will come to you. But please don’t do this unless you are prayed up, prepared, and know what you believe and why you believe it and have the scripture to prove it. 2 Timothy 2:15 says, “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” As the late Dr. Walter Martin said, they will twist you into “a theological pretzel.” They will leave with more hours on their time cards and you will be wondering
what happened. Yes, they have time cards. They are out there for two reasons – to preach the good news of the kingdom to you and convert you. Notice I did not say the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ but the good news of the kingdom. We, as Christians, preach the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ which is the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. Their good news of the kingdom is working to achieve everlasting life on a paradise earth. Big difference. Some have been born into this belief. Others have been drawn in. They have no desire to go to heaven. If Armageddon has not taken place by the time they die they believe their body will sleep in the grave until they are resurrected and then they will find out if they did enough for Jehovah God in their life to live on the paradise earth. You say that sounds insane! Yes it does. And we’re just

The Prodigal Daughter program is an eighteen-month in-depth rehabilitation program very similar to the Loving Hands Ministry of Wendell Wilson, who is her friend and advisor. It will encompass basic Christian values, Christian counseling, Bible-teaching, household economics, money and time management, raising children, job-hunting and working a job, education – GED, etc., self-sufficiency, and other needed tools for a Godly, productive life. Founded by Denise and Joe Gattuso who originally lived in New York, but an accident and injury brought her and her daughter to Florida in 2013 to seek the Lord’s direction and recuperate.
God had given Denise a vision fifteen years prior to this for a women’s home where they could get a new start in life. However, it never materialized in that area. Now, in Sarasota, Florida, God renewed the vision and told her that He would supply the home and all the needs for the vision. Denise is a Christian Counselor among other accomplishments. She had no money for a home, and had no idea how to go about doing this work. Accompanying her daughter to Oasis Church, she met Pastor Steve and found herself talking about the vision God gave her, and all the details which she had written down for the vision. He

is sponsoring an outreach June 4th 2016 at East Bradenton Park Pavilion that will be giving away various gifts and surprises plus 100 boxes of dry good foods. This event is open to the public and everyone is invited. There is no pre-registration just come with your family and friends and enjoy the day with singing, testimonies, good preaching, a bounce house for the kids and a jousting game for kids of all ages. Beverley Vance will be in charge of the food to given away. She states that she has 100 boxes of food consisting of various items such as mashed potatoes, rice, canned stew, green beans, peanut butter and jelly and more. This will be given out to the first 100 families who want it and if there are more families than food, Beverley will get them a box at a later date. There is no financial requirement of any kind to take part in these festivities, just come and be blessed. We will be grilling hundreds of hotdogs and lots of activities for a day of fun. East Bradenton Park is located at 1119 13th street East Bradenton behind Tropicana and the city pool.
