2015 News in Prophecy By Pastor Chuck Kennedy
(Bradenton, FL) A lot of prophetic activity has transpired in the year 2015. Obama promised change when he ran for president and it is the only promise he has managed to keep. Unfortunately, it is not the kind of change Christians want to see. Much has prophetic significance though and you need to know it. The news stories abound and it is hard to say what is most compelling and prophetic in nature as they all play their own part in the ticking away of the Divine time table. Daniel prophesied that knowledge would increase and we see that escalating faster than the speed of light. Dan 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. For instance, just think about your phone, your cell phone. Remember the one you used to have in your house with a cord attached to it? All it could do is ring one tone and when answered allow you to just talk. Boring huh? Now take a look at the one in your hand today. It is as functional as a full blown computer. More so than the computers that used to take up the whole room only to do a few calculations and process basic word documents. How far we have come in such a short time. However, it is not just the phones moving at turbo speed. All forms of knowledge in every fieldhave increased with major historic developments. Where will it take us in 2016? God only knows. These historic events of 2015 will help you pinpoint your place according to Gods timetable. Less than 1 minute till midnight…and the clock is still ticking. Prepare yourself, hear what the Spirit is saying to the church.
Christians Face Middle East NEW HAVEN, Conn., Dec. 31, 2015 / PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- By a wide margin, most Americans agree in calling ISIS’ atrocities against Christians in the Middle East “genocide,” according to a KofC-Marist poll conducted this month. By almost 20 points, 55 percent to 36 percent, Americans agree that this targeting of Christians and other religious minorities meets the U.N. definition of genocide. In addition, nearly 6 in 10 Americans (59 percent), say they have heard “a great deal” or “a good amount” about the targeting of Christians and other religious minorities in the region by ISIS. “The American people, together with presidential candidates and elected officials of both political parties agree that Christians and other religious minorities are facing genocide in the Middle East,” said Knights of Columbus CEO Carl Anderson. “With such a bi-partisan consensus, inaction on a declaration of genocide by Congress and the State Department is unconscionable. An entire year has gone by with their silence. The time for action is now – while those being persecuted can still be saved.” The survey came shortly after a broad coalition of religious leaders, researchers and scholars sent a letter to Secretary of State John Kerry, urging – based on the overwhelming evidence

John 16:2 They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service. Possibly one of the biggest news stories for 2015 is the surge of terrorist and spread of ISIS who want to make an Islamic Caliphate and overtake the middle-east as well as the world. They have touched many nations with their reign of terror by entering towns and villages and separating Christians from Muslims just to brutally murder by decapitation and crucify those who proclaim their faith in Jesus. They do these horrible acts in the name of their god as they shout Allah Akbar! Even touching the shores of America with the massacre recently in California where the Islamic couple walked into the Christmas party and mercilessly slaughtered his co-workers. What could possibly cause a heart to be so dark as to commit such an act except that person is totally convinced he and she is doing their god a service. Let us pray for God to reveal Himself to these terrorist through dreams and visions that will bring a change of heart through salvation, which is the only weapon that will effectively stop them.

of their targeting in Iraq and Syria – that Christians be included in any determination of genocide made by the State Department. In addition, the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) recently released a statement urging the State Department to declare what is happening to religious minorities in the region as genocide. Pope Francis has called the situation genocide as well. During his trip to Bolivia, he stated, “Today we are dismayed to see how in the Middle East and elsewhere in the world many of our brothers and sisters are persecuted, tortured and killed for their faith in Jesus. … A form of genocide is taking place, and it must end.” Bishop Oscar Cantú of Las Cruces, New Mexico, chair of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Committee on International Justice and Peace, in a letter has also urged Congress to pass the “Genocide” resolution, H.Con.Res. 75. The survey of 1,517 adults was conducted Dec. 1-7, 2015, by The Marist Poll sponsored and funded in partnership with The Knights of Columbus. Adults 18 years of age and older residing in the continental United States were interviewed in English or Spanish by (landline and cellular) telephone, using live interviewers. Results are statistically significant within +2.5 percentage points.
Al-Shabaab By Katey Hearth
Kenya (MNN) — Passengers heading to northern Kenya earlier this week knew what was coming when al-Shabaab terrorists stormed a bus, took passengers outside, and demanded Muslims and Christians separate into groups. However, Muslim passengers defied the terrorists’ commands and refused to help them divide the group. Some of the Muslims even gave Christ-followers Islamic clothing to further protect their identities. “The militants threatened to shoot us, but we still refused and protected our brothers and sisters,” one of the Muslim passengers told Reuters. “Finally, they gave up and left but warned that they would be back.” Not only were the Muslims’ actions courageous, says Emily Fuentes with Open Doors USA, they were also unexpected and risky. “There have been multiple cases of this, where all the Christians are then murdered once they’re separated, and the Muslims are set free. These Muslims, choosing to put their own lives at-risk, were facing certain death by
by doing this.” Persecution in Kenya While inspiring, this account is also an encouraging sign for Kenya. Persecution is skyrocketing in the East African nation. Between 2014 and 2015, Kenya jumped 24 spots on the Open Doors World Watch List. “It’s mainly this one group of extremists [al-Shabaab] as well as pocketed extremists in some of the rural areas that are attacking Christians for their faith,” explains Fuentes. “They are notorious for doing this [type of attack] several times: separating Muslims and Christians by those who can recite the Qur’an and those who can’t. If they can’t recite the Qur’an, they are killed.” Originating
from neighboring Somalia, al-Shabaab has been expanding its reach in Kenya since 2010. Earlier this year, the radicals specifically targeted believers in a massacre at Garissa University. Many times, Fuentes explains, extremists target Christian men. “They’re trying to kill the men in the families because…the men are often the ‘breadwinners,’ and so it destroys the entire family when they kill them.” As a result, much of Open Doors’ work in Kenya centers around the widows and orphans left behind by persecuted pastors and church leaders.

Iranian pastor released after 5 years in jail Can Farshid Fathi secures early release, 6 months after being handed extra year in jail to By Dan Wooding
IRAN (ANS – Dec. 23,2015) -- An Iranian pastor has been released early from prison, just six months after he failed to appeal a sentence to an extra year in jail and 74 lashes for allegedly possessing two liters of alcohol in his prison cell. Farshid Fathi (World Watch Monitor). According to World Watch Monitor (https://www.worldwatchmonitor.org), FarshidFathi was serving a six-year prison sentence – extended to seven years – for “action against the regime’s security, being in contact with foreign organizations, and religious propaganda”. Due to be released in Dec. 2017, he was then told by prison officials in early July that he would be released this year – at that time they said on Dec. 10. He was originally arrested on Dec. 26, 2010, at the same time as around 60 other Christians, many belonging to house churches in Tehran and other cities. Most of those have now been released. The governor of Tehran, MortezaTamadon, on 4 January, 2011 described the detained Christians as “extremists” who “penetrate the body of Islam like corrupt and deviant people”. He added that they were trying to establish “an extreme form of Christianity like the Taliban and Wahhabis in Islam”. Fathi, who is a 35-year-old father of two, was imprisoned without trial in Evin prison. After 15 months of uncertainty, he was tried in January 2012. Details of his court trial have not been published. Iran’s Supreme Leader Seyyed Ali Khamenei had made a speech in October 2010 saying that house churches should be “dealt with”.
A new wave of surveillance and arrests against Christians followed soon after, with leaders of house church groups, such as FarshidFathi, especially singled out for longer detentions. Born into a Muslim family, Fathi became a Christian at the age of 17 and at the time of his arrest he was working full-time as a pastor and leader of house churches. Fathi served his sentence alongside another man, AlirezaSeyyadian, who was also imprisoned for six years. Seyyadian was arrested as he was trying to leave the country for a holiday at the time of Persian New Year in March 2012, and was also transferred with Fathi to Rajaei-Shahr prison. Seyyadian is a member of a group known as Church of Iran, which holds a non-Trinitarian theology. He was sentenced to 90 lashes and six years’ imprisonment for “acting against national security through collusion, gathering and propagating against the Islamic regime”. However, he was released after three and a half years, in August 2015. Background Estimates from evidence provided by the American Center for Law and Justice, Article 18 and Middle East Concern suggest that, in May 2015, there were 90 people detained in Iranian prisons on account of their Christian faith and practice. 2013. However, his powers are limited and, in the short run, no concrete changes are expected for religious minorities,” said Open Doors. According to the 2015 World Watch List by Open Doors International,
Farshid Fathi a charity that supports Christians who face hostilities because of their faith, Iran ranks seventh in the top 10 countries where Christians are persecuted. The main driver of persecution in Iran, it says, is “Islamic extremism”; Christians from an Islamic background are especially targeted. Increasing numbers of Farsi-speaking churches have been forced to close, some of which have been there for centuries. This is a development that has not been seen in the history of the Church in Iran, stated the World Watch List. “Expectations were high when President Rouhani took office in 2013. However, his powers are limited and, in the short run, no concrete changes are expected for religious minorities,” said Open Doors. Mohabat News (http://mohabatnews. com), reports that even Sunni Muslims “cannot enjoy the least amount of freedom”. As with Christians and other religious minorities, Sunnis are not allowed to build a mosque of their own in Tehran, the capital.
Giving The Gospel to Lost Souls By Gayle O’Connor
(Bradenton Florida, 2015.) We had been out in the community that morning sharing the gospel and had knocked on the door of a sweet, hospitable lady who spoke very little English. This is always a challenge because the evangelist and I speak no Spanish. The evangelist has a bible with English and Spanish so he is always able to present the gospel by having the person at the door read the salvation scriptures. After all, it is not anything that we do or say but the Word that convicts and saves the soul. Hebrews 4:12, Romans 10:17. When we have an occasion such as this the evangelist will ask the person if they would like to have someone who speaks Spanish give them a call to help them in their new walk with the Lord and encourage them in the scriptures in their own language.Amazing how the Holy Spirit lets them understand this! So, Praise the Lord, we have a dear sister in Christ, Eugenia Alburquerque, who loves to be used by the Lord. In fact, when I ask her if she would allow me to use her name for this article her answer was, “I am always proud to testify and let everyone know that the Lord is my Saviour.” What a beautiful answer. She is Spanish and of course speaks the language fluently. In fact she has taught English as a second language. Anytime we call her she is always willing and ready and when we thank her for her help she always says, “I wish I could do more.” What a sweet, humble spirit she has. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we all shared that same attitude and heart for sharing Jesus? So we contacted her and told her about the lady, gave her the address and phone number and had full assurance that she would follow up. It was just a few days later when she called to tell us that she went to the lady’s home and when she arrived she was introduced to the lady’s 3 sisters. So what did sister Eugenia do? She told all 3 about Jesus and they got saved! Now that’s a true “Soul Winner.”She wasn’t concerned as to whether or not she would be “politically correct” or that someone might be “offended.” She was winning souls for Jesus and she lets nothing stand in her way. What a mighty soul winner! Sister Eugenia you are such a blessing to us. Proverbs 11:30. InMatthew 28:19, Jesus says “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations”.The key word in this verse is “GO”.To quote David Wood of David Wood Ministries, “want to know why most Christians don’t go? Answer – they don’t go. He also gives the definition of a soul winner as someone who Goes On Purpose. As we start out this new year of 2016, how many lost souls will we tell about Jesus? Jesus does not “call” anyone to be a soul winner. He has already “commanded” us to be soul winners. John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.Brothers and sisters in Christ, do you really love him? Will you Go on Purpose? How obedient will you be? I think the evangelist says it so well when he says, “I just don’t want to stand before the Saviour and have nothing to lay at his feet.” Revelation 4:10.
We Really Expect Avoid Pre-Marital
Teens Sex?
SPRING HILL, Fla., Dec. 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Can you really expect people to drive the speed limit? Of course you do. Why do we expect people to follow laws made by man, but when it comes to the instructions of God regarding our lives, we question His knowledge of what we are capable of doing. Author Jennifer Ball pens a story of a modern day clash of extremes. Jennifer is able to boldly show the difference between a believer who has a relationship with Jesus, and a believer who just knows what He did for us. “Here” is a story about Christian morals and values meeting head on with today’s progressive society which is decaying away from Scripture. Joshua is a teen who claims to be a born-again believer of Christ, yet lives a life that Jesus died so we can sin rather than to save us from them.

God has a plan for this soon to be man, but Joshua can’t hear Him through his frolicking with the world. God knows that it will take a message to deter Joshua from this destructive path, and there is only one way to get that message to him. Jennifer introduces Abigail, the rock solid Christian. Abigail, a born-again believer of Christ, seeks to walk her journey holding the hand of Jesus so she may be pleasing to the Lord. While Joshua holds the hand of the devil yet accepts Christ to just escape the penalty of his sins. Jennifer writes about modern day relationships, how pre-marital sex is accepted and the word “love” is just a word. God has a plan for Joshua, but he has to first let go the hand of the devil to hear it. God will do that by giving him a message in the most unforeseen way. The world, trials and tribulation can turn believers into being lukewarm. But God’s love is aggressive for the ones who say they believe, and He won’t allow the world to come between Him and His be-

‘Civil liberties’ concerns shut down probe that may have uncovered San Bernardino plot A recently retired employee of the Department of Homeland Security alleges that government officials shut down an investigation he initiated that may have uncovered the terror plot in San Bernardino.
believe the influence of this school was responsible for her radicalization. The al-Huda Institute also maintains a campus in Hawthorne, California, approximately a 90-minute drive from San Bernardino.
He says the probe was halted in 2013 due to civil liberties concerns.
“In 2014, three recent former students at al-Huda’s affiliate school in Canada, aged 15 to 18, left their homes to join the Islamic State in Syria,” Haney notes.
“There are terrorists in our midst and they arrived here using legal means right under the noses of the federal law enforcement agencies,” writes Philip Haney in a piece published by The Hill. Haney worked with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for 13 years. At DHS, he identified individuals affiliated with large, but less well-known Islamist groups operating within the United States, such as TablighiJamaat. “At the National Targeting Center, formed to ‘connect the dots,’ I played a major role in an investigation into this trans-national Islamist network,” Haney notes. His team created records of individuals, mosques, Islamic Centers and schools across the United States involved in radicalization efforts. “The mosque in San Bernardino was affiliated with this network and we had identified a member of it in our investigation. Sayed Farook frequented that mosque and was well-known to the congregation and mosque leadership,” Haney reports. Haney also had his sights on the al-Huda Institute, the women’s school attended by Tashfeen Malik in Pakistan. Many
Haney says his team at DHS had Farook and Malik’s affiliated groups within their sights. “If the investigation had continued and additional links been identified and dots connected, we might have given advance warning of the terrorist attack in San Bernardino,” he affirms. He says the combination of Farook’s participation in the San Bernardino mosque and Malik’s attendance at al-Huda would have indicated “an urgent need for comprehensive screening.” “It could also have led to denial of Malik’s K-1 visa or possibly gotten Farook placed on the No Fly list,” which would have foiled their intentions. But it was not to be. “DHS shut down the investigation at the request of the Department of State and DHS’ own Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Division.” Haney received the following explanation: Because the Islamist groups in question were not Specially Designated Terrorist Organizations (SDTOs), tracking individuals related to these groups was a violation of the travelers’ civil liberties.

“Worse still, the administration then went back and erased the dots we were diligently connecting. Even as DHS closed my investigation, I knew that data I was looking at could prove significant to future counterterror efforts and tried to prevent the information from being lost to law enforcement. “In 2013, I met with the DHS Inspector General in coordination with several members of Congress to attempt to warn the American people’s elected representatives about the threat.”
Haney’s efforts to play Paul Revere brought a counter-attack from the administration. “In retaliation, DHS and the Department of Justice subjected me to a series of investigations and adverse actions, including one by that same Inspector General.” None of the investigations showed any wrongdoing on Haney’s part. Earlier in 2015, he retired honorably from government service and now wants to warn the American people.
Haney was appalled that foreign nationals would be granted the civil rights and liberties of American citizens – especially those with radical leanings.

You may have seen Larry Lee on the street corner in Manatee County. God called Larry to witness by holding a sign up for passing cars. This handmade sign proclaims the love of Jesus with the intent of making the viewers aware of the soon coming King. Larry goes out every other day, sometimes, morning, sometimes afternoon, and he does not hold a sign begging for money. Instead, Larry holds a sign offering a free ticket to heavento the thousands of passersby. He has been doing this for about four years in our area and says he gets good response from the people. Many wave or honk in agreement with him although there are a few that harass. Larry says he does not let that bother him, he is about the Fathers business. Most are very supportive and even tell him to keep up the good work. Larry stands mostly on the corner in front of the CVS at the corner of manatee Avenue and US 41. Next time you see him out there, say a prayer for Larry, that is what he is doing for you. “I just want people to come to know Jesus and to be saved” says Larry. That is his purpose and motivation.

Freedom Challenge Leads Anti-Human Trafficking Law ATLANTA, Dec. 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Thanks to the Atlanta-based Freedom Challenge, life-transforming legislation for more than 200,000 women and children is being enforced in one of the world’s high human-trafficking area centers. It has taken 27 years for the government to officially pass enforcement and education of a law preventing what’s known as temple dedication – ritualized prostitution of Joginis/ Devadasis/Dalits in a Southern India area called the Andhra Pradesh State. Over the last days, the Andhra Pradesh State Government established groundbreaking rules enabling the enforcement of the law called the Prohibition of Dedication Act. The Public Interest Litigation calling for this long overdue action was filed in 2012 by a Freedom Challenge initiative “Pratigya” Anti-Human Trafficking Unit in India. “The enforcement of this law is a giant step towards ending human trafficking in this high trade area. The Freedom Challenge’s years of tireless efforts to get this law enforced are making an impact and we applaud the State Government for taking this important action that will deliver transformation for the women and children of this area,” says Tina Yeager, Freedom Challenge US Director. Writing these rules for the Prohibition of Dedication Act is a legislative victory that will positively alter the daily lives and future for the area’s 200,000 women and children. “Our initiative has stopped and prevented approximately 2,220 dedications over the last 2 ½ years. As difficult as this is to comprehend, prior to this groundbreaking action, law enforcement officials were often unaware of the law. The only actions tackling it relied solely on non-governmental agencies and other organizations, such as The Freedom Challenge supported group,” says Yeager.
HELPFUL BACKGROUND: Joginis/Devadasis exist in a belt across Southern India where ritualized prostitution remains a reality. Young women falling victim to this practice are generally from Scheduled Caste (low caste) and Dalit backgrounds. Dedicated to the role as pre-teens, their duties involve dancing to bestow good luck and giving sexual favors to men. The practice’s causative factors include poverty, illiteracy, lack of awareness, desperate conditions, varying moral value systems, and insufficient rehabilitation programs. A minimum 200,000 girls have been dedicated into this practice in a four-state area. The rules also require the state government to stipulate relief and rehabilitation measures for victims including basic needs such as: • The right to legally marry, a right to which they have been deprived. • The right for Jogini children to list a father’s name officially on their birth certificate, enabling the family to access benefits and enrollment in school. • Housing • Economic assistance • Free education for their children

Nigeria Pastor prays for Muslim At- Six myths about modern-day tempting to Seize Ministry Property child slavery By Reena Vohra
By Jeremy Reynalds JOS, NIGERIA (ANS-Dec 9. 2015) -- A Muslim in central Nigeria who destroyed part of a ministry facility, upsetting students inside, has filed suit to seize the property, a ministry leader said. According to a story by Morning Star News, claiming ownership of the property and facing a charge of criminal trespass for the partial demolition of the facility in September, Mohammed Uduans has filed a civil suit against SegunTowobola. Towobola is pastor and president of Breadwinners International Christian Center in the Kissayip area of Bassa, 14 miles north of Jos in Plateau state, “If this Muslim succeeds in achieving his plan to take over our church property, we’ll adversely be affected, as our evangelism outreach here would be terminated, and our discipleship and vocational training program would end,” Towobola told Morning Star News. Uduans became upset after learning two years ago that the ministry was holding worship meetings at the facility near his home, Towobola said. Uduans was even more angry to learn of the ministry’s educational and vocational classes for orphans and the poor in the area, and he began claiming property ownership. This culminated on Sept. 18 when he led a group of Muslims to destroy part of the ministry’s building, the pastor said. “My

students were holding classes on the premises when Mohammed and his group carried out the destruction on our property,” Morning Star News reported Towobola said. “I immediately rushed to the church to see them carrying out the destruction. I had to call in the police, who arrested him and his group.” Police charged Uduans with criminal trespass on the church’s property, the pastor said. “My wife and children were harassed and tormented when I arrived at the property,” he said. “They were crying as the destruction was going on. So I had no choice but to call the police, who arrested him. The case is currently with the Grade 1 Area Court, here in Bassa town.” Morning Star News reported Towobola said Uduans has openly boasted he would take possession of the property by force through his government connections and wealth. “Mohammed Uduans since his arrest and detention by the police, and after being released by the police, has boasted that he has relations in the government and the money to take possession of our property, as he said he would never allow a church near his house,” he said. Uduans declined to comment to Morning Star News, saying only, “I cannot talk with you as the case is in the court.” Towobola said the church bought the property from a military officer in the
Nigerian Army two years ago, and that the officer was the owner of the property for seven years before selling. The church paid 500,000 naira (US$2,485) for the property, which already had a building on it. The ministry subsequently redesigned it to provide a worship hall and classrooms for teaching vocational skills and discipling orphans and children of the poor in the community, he said. “We have all the necessary documents for this land, and we have presented them before the court,” Morning Star News reported the pastor said. “We have been on the property now for two years, yet our Muslim neighbor has been troubling us.” Towobola on Nov. 26 received a summons from the Area Court, Jebbu-Bassa, requesting he appear in court as a defendant in the civil suit by Uduans to take possession of the church property. On Nov. 30 the court announced that a hearing was set for Dec. 17. Towobola asked that Christians pray for his ministry. In addition to church planting and discipleship, the ministry also runs Living Waters Christian Publishing, which has published many Christian writers. Christians make up 51.3 percent of Nigeria’s population of 158.2 million, while Muslims account for 45 percent and live mainly in the north, according to Operation World.
Wednesday Dec 2nd was International Day for Abolition of Slavery (MISSISSAUGA, ON, Dec.2015/PRNewswire)World Vision’s child protection policy advisor, Reena Vohra, debunks six myths about the worst forms of child labour: Myth #1: Times have changed. Not many children are working now. “A staggering 85 million of the world’s children are involved in the worst kinds of child labour. This is not simply chores around the family home or farm, but rather work that is dirty, dangerous and degrading. It is labour that exploits children, such as working with dangerous machinery, or handling harsh dyes and chemicals, in places like garment factories, mines, fields or plantations, without any protective gear,” says Reena Vohra, World Vision’s child protection policy advisor. Myth #2: Working is still a choice. Children aren’t forced to do it. “Not all these children have a choice. Children around the world continue to be trapped in situations where they are forced to work such as domestic servitude and bonded labour. Desperation leads to difficult choices for families. What World Vision has also seen through our work is that without a parent to care for them, children in some of the world’s poorest regions often have no choice but to live on the streets and work to survive,” says Vohra. Myth #3: It’s a way of life over there. Children don’t expect any different. “Some children may resign themselves to working in hazardous jobs for either their families’ survival or their own. But they are still children, no different than kids here in Canada, with dreams for their future. selves to working in hazardous jobs for either their families’ survival or their own. But they are still children, no different than kids here in Canada, with dreams for their future. They feel heartbreak when they see other children able to attend school and play, while they are suffering in dangerous working environments.
When opportunities pped away, it hurts,”
are says
riVohra.
Myth #4: Children work to help their families survive. It would be wrong to take them away. “The first part is true – contributing a few dollars a day to the family income can make a big difference. But this raises the issue of why a child’s wages are necessary in the first place. Many parents become ill or disabled by harmful working conditions they themselves have endured. Or there hasn’t been enough money to prevent an illness from getting worse. If parents were paid fair wages for their labour, if safer working conditions meant they were less likely to be injured or killed on the job, children are much less likely to work,” says Vohra. Myth #5: This is all terrible, but none of it is my fault. “No one means to exploit children in other countries, but many shoppers are complicit without even knowing how. World Vision’s research shows that imports come through supply chains which could well include child labour along the way. But because the supply chains are so long and complicated, it’s very difficult for shoppers to know which companies are better than others,” says Vohra. Myth #6: The issue is too big and complicated! I can’t do anything to help. Like the original abolitionists who fought the Transatlantic Slave Tradeby using whatever gifts and resources they had, we can all do small things to make a big difference. Here is a start: • Email companies and ask what they do to ensure their products are child-labour free. The more questions companies receive, the more likely they are to act. • Pray for our children: God hears and answers prayer. Research this online and pray accordingly. North Korea sentences Canadian pastor to life in jail By Michael Ireland
PYONGYANG, NORTH KOREA (ANS, December 16, 2015) -- North Korea's highest court has sentenced a Canadian Christian pastor to a life term of hard labor for "crimes against the state." The BBC reports that Hyeon Soo Lim, 60, was arrested in the capital Pyongyang after he traveled there in January for humanitarian work. The BBC said the Toronto-based pastor, who is of South Korean origin, was shown at a news conference earlier confessing to a plot to overthrow the government and set up a “religious state.” North Korea bans religious activity. According to the BBC report, the authorities periodically detain foreigners for religious or missionary activity and similar cases have seen staged public confessions from prisoners. The BBC reported that Canada’s foreign ministry said in a statement it was “dismayed at the unduly harsh sentence... particularly given his age and fragile health.” It added that Canadian officials were seeking access to Mr Lim. The BBC report states that Mr Lim was sentenced after a 90-minute trial at the North Korean Supreme Court.
He was convicted of joining the US and South Korea in an anti-North Korea human rights “racket” and fabricating and circulating false propaganda materials tarnishing the country’s image. He was also accused of funding and helping “defectors” to escape, in some cases through Mongolia. The pastor entered and left the court in handcuffs flanked by two public security officers in uniform, the Associated Press news agency reports. The handcuffs were removed in court during the trial, it adds. The pastor kept his head bowed most of the time and answered questions in a subdued tone. The BBC said Mr Lim and his colleagues travelled to Pyongyang on January 31 as part of a humanitarian mission. His family said it was to support a nursing home, nursery and orphanage. According to the BBC, Mr Lim heads the Light Korean Presbyterian Church. The Church said Lim had made numerous humanitarian aid missions to North Korea for nearly two decades. The BBC report said Lim was detained in February, and in July a KCNA report said Mr Lim had given a press conference in Pyongyang where he admitted to using humanitarian work as a
Hyeon Soo Lim. “guise” for “subversive plots and activities in a sinister bid to build a religious state.” He also reportedly admitted to giving lectures that “North Korea should be collapsed with the love of ‘God,’” and to helping the US and South Korea to aid North Korean defectors. Foreigners detained in North Korea Recent cases (all American) include:
• **Matthew Todd Miller had been sentenced to six years’ hard labour in September 2014 for what North Korean state media described as “hostile acts”, but was released in November the same year • **Kenneth Bae was arrested in November 2012 and accused of using his tourism business to form groups to overthrow the government.
Sentenced to 15 years' hard labour in May 2013 butreleased along with Mr Miller • **Jeffrey Fowle, held for five months and charged with "anti-state" crimes - released in October 2014 • **Korean War veteran Merrill Newman held in October 2013 on charges of "hostile acts," released in December the same year.

2015 News in Prophecy Continued from Page 1... By Charles Glass
Time is now 15 seconds until the midnight hour… Matt 13:15 For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. The Center for Medical Progress released a powerful series of undercover video in 2015 clearly showing the negotiation and sale of aborted baby parts by Planned Parenthood. No pity on the fruit of the womb nor do they spare the children, it is a business now. Which part do you need? What are you willing to pay? We will have the murdering physician slaughter the child in such a manner as to preserve that high paying part for you. If this were not reprehensible enough, our government, and many of its citizens, still defend this slaughter house, all the while refusing to quit sending our tax dollars to support it. Is this not a clear picture of the calloused heart of man that would justify this sort of vile and inhumane activity? Time is now 5 seconds until midnight… Matt 24:9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. On October 1st of 2015, a crazed gunman entered the classroom at Umpqua Community College in rural Oregon and after killing the teacher separated the Christians from the others by putting a bullet through their head when they confessed their faith in Jesus. You have to ask yourself what would I do? The answer must be, if you die now you will not have to die later. In June of 2015, we remember the hate filled young man who wanted
to start a race war. He sat through an hour of prayer in the Charleston, SC historic Emmanuel AME Church and then opened fire killing everyone including the pastor. What was the reason? It was a church, Christians, and satan hates Christians and Jews so he comes to steal, kill and destroy, John 10.10. Time is now 2.5 seconds until midnight… Romans 1:26-27For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. The homosexual, transgender debacle along with the Supreme Courts affirmation upon a life of perversity and sin is one of the most far reaching events of the year 2015. This one has repercussions that reverberate through our lives and our children’s lives and if the Lord tarries, our children’s, children’s lives. The fact that a nation has a supreme court that would have the audacity to redefine marriage is beyond words. In the same vein, we see Bruce Jenner glorified and even honored for a sex change. On the heels of these atrocities comes persecution for Christians labeled as hate crime advocates and now law breakers because they choose God’s laws over man’s laws. This brings to mind the Kim Davis case in Kentucky where she chose jail instead of violate her faith. This is only the tip of the iceberg in this arena, mark my words, in the days to come this will snowball as a tremendous tool of persecution against the church. Wake up America, before it is too late.
How about New York’s new law passed in 2015 that fines you up to $250000 for discrimination if you call a transgender “he” or “she” when they preferred to be called “zhe”. Pastors are not exempted either. 2015 brought about the judgment against the Christian bakers in Oregon who now have had their accounts raided to begin payment of a $135000 fine for not baking a wedding cake for a same sex marriage. It has just begun, get ready or get about the Fathers business to bring revival and stop this nonsense. Time and space do not permit me to continue, but let me mention the current pending refugee crisis, the Paris meeting regarding the climate change hoax, Ebola, and the United States now over 18 Trillion in debt and growing with no cap or ceiling in sight.

These events are prophetic and are preparation for the soon return of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Can you see this or are you caught up in a blinded fog of deception, fortune and selfishness? Time is short, but either way, every breath you take is one less you have till either you go by way of the upper-taker or the undertaker. Are you ready? Luke 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. Testimony Calls for Policy Changes to Protect Christians and other Minorities in the Middle East WASHINGTON, Dec. 9, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- In testimony before the House Subcommittee on Africa, Global Health, Global Human Rights and International Organization, Carl Anderson, CEO and Chairman of the Board of the Knights of Columbus today provided four policy recommendations to address the on-going crisis of Christian and other religious minorities in Syria and Iraq. 1. That Congress adopt House Concurrent
Resolution 75, which names and decries the ongoing "genocide" against Christians and other vulnerable minorities in Iraq and Syria. 2. That the U.S. State Department publicly acknowledge that genocide is taking place against the Christian communities of Iraq and Syria, including them in its reportedly impending statement on genocide that, according to reports, refers only to Nineveh's Yazidi community.
3. That the United States insist on proper security inside the camps and identify ways to ensure that Christians and other vulnerable minorities from Iraq and Syria are not subject to violence inside UNHCR facilities, including the possibility of providing separate facilities for minorities and hiring professional staff that would include members of the minority communities. 4. That the U.S. government take immediate action to implement its stated policy of
"prioritizing" the resettlement of vulnerable minorities, including Christians. In addition, we recommend that the U.S. government end its sole reliance on the UNHCR for refugee referrals and engage private contractors to identify, document and refer Christian, Yazidi and other vulnerable minority refugees from Syria and Iraq who are in need of resettlement. The Knights of Columbus has donated more than $5 million to assist Christian
and other religious minority refugees in the Middle East. Last week, Anderson and other prominent signatories urged the State Department to classify persecution of Christians as genocide.
