before she was traveling from Atlantic City to Miami and up and down the East Coast singing in many night clubs and various venues. She met her beloved husband Arnold while performing in Atlantic City. He was a gifted entertainer and musician. One of those people with a tremendous amount of talent. He had a show during the Vaudeville era with his stage partner. He and Didi were working at the same Club when they met. Five years later when Didi was 28, they were married in Miami. Arnold was a brilliant comedy show writer for such greats as Re Buttons and Sofie Tucker. He had many very wealthy friends and fans who invited us as guest on the big yachts and to fancy parties. During those days Miami was so magical in my eyes. She remembered seeing Clark Gable in Miami training to be a World War Two Officer. Arnold and Didi were very happily married for twenty seven years until it abruptly ended from him dying during a heart attack at the age of 61. We never had any children of our own. I was blessed however to get to care for my friends children after she became ill. I grew to love them like my own. Didi had stopped singing in the night clubs after she married Arnold. Then after losing the love of her life, she desired to continue her singing as a benefit to others. She began volunteering her talents to help raise money for hospitals, war veterans and many other needy organizations and peoples. Didi moved to the Bradenton/ Sarasota area when she was sixt one years old and began Working in the Library at New College in Sarasota. She continued her singing for benefits, fund raisers, bazaars, and in many local churches. She also served in a local jail ministry for several

Even now she occasionally continues to sing for those who love her, including her home church in Sarasota, the Fellowship of Believers. “I don’t sing as much as I used to,” says Didi who will be 103 years old in June. However she is known to be moved by the Spirit from time to time and can be heard belting out a song for the glory of God. Didi was one of the founding members in the early days of Faith International Christian Center. She was one of their first worship leaders while in her nineties and encouraged Pastor Chuck Kennedy to expand his church. I am blessed to have several very close friends who have helped me in so many ways. They are my family of God. They know who they are. Some take me shopping or out to lunch or take me to church on Sundays or sometimes we sit and pray or read the Bible. I still love getting out and going places on a pretty day. I ask a very special blessing and say thank you to the Lord for each one of these special friends. God has been good to me! Thank you Jesus!

God knows all about these things. For God created you with qualities like curiosity and creativity. To deny these desires of the heart would be to live a life that is less than whole, less than fulfilling. So how do you begin to assess your heart? And how, you ask, can you ever understand such hidden things? It is very simple, just come to God. For He alone holds the key, that unlocks these doors. God has already set a plan in place to help you discover and fulfill these desires.
So, come and ask God for His wisdom and understanding. And then listen carefully an expectantly. God will show you how to satisfy your hungry heart. So, come to God and listen to His words. Learn from God and fully experience His never-ending love for you. I give thanks to God always for you, making mention of you in my prayers each day, constantly bearing in mind your work of faith and labor of love and steadfastness of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the presence of our God and Father, knowing, you beloved by God, His choice of you, for our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power and in the Holy Spirit and with full conviction. into my heart. Exactly as she explained to me, this precious God-man Jesus and His powerful Holy Ghost came into my life and set me free from drugs and alcohol. At the same time He healed me from a serious illness. It all happened in one simple step to Jesus. I believed with all my heart and confessed with my mouth Jesus is my Lord and Savior. I was totally delivered from all bondage and I began to truly live. I know Jesus and His Holy Ghost would love to come and live in you to set you free today from whatever you are facing. Just believe by faith and ask to receive the Love of God through His precious Son Jesus Christ. He is faithful, He will not let you down. Our Team consisted of Evangelist Edwin John, Pastor Lisa Lim, Evangelist Samson Sohail and a few others. While doing evangelistic prayer meetings in 84 villages, we encountered this paralytic man. Gathering around him all of us began worshipping the Lord God. As we sang worship Songs prayer was offered for him. After the prayer of faith was spoken over him, we began preparing to come back to our Home.

Bradenton, FL — I was struck by a car that caused multiple sustained injuries in the year 1976. I was only nine years old at the time. The accident plunged me into a deep coma and left me with several broken bones. My family members stayed by my bedside praying for me and declaring that I would live and not die. In the natural, I was not in good shape. Both legs were broken in multiple places with my left side paralyzed and a broken collar bone. They even read my last rights over me! My Grandparents never gave up however and said NO, Leave him alone. The next day I began to come around. Thank You GOD, I am Grateful. Oh I had serious injuries and it was a LONG LONG Recovery. I needed to learn how to walk again and they had to teach me to breath. I could not blow up a balloon at all. My youth was spent in Physical therapy, Occupational therapy and prolonged stays in the hospital to re-learn what comes natural to most. By the grace of God, I surpassed all limitations. Today in 2014, I am 47 years young and I am a True Believer in Christ and the awesome power of his might. I now teach young boys about

I Saw Jesus While on Life Support and He Healed Me By John Herbst Palmetto, FL — Five years ago I awoke with a horrible headache, it was so bad that I had my wife drive me to the emergency room. Soon after we arrived I had a major stroke, it was a brain bleed. I was rushed to surgery. After surgery the doctor told my wife it was bad and there was nothing more he could do. He told her I was in God's hands and probably would not live the night. As I lay in a coma on life support I had a vision: I was seated at a table leaning on Jesus. It was the most wonderful feeling. We were looking out a window and people I have known my whole life were coming and praying for me. I could not hear them or see Jesus' face, I was
just aware of all that was happening. A true close friend, who is also a doctor, came and humbled himself before God and asked for my healing. Jesus took note of his prayer, turned and pushed me away. At that point I woke up with a doctor, who had his back to me, telling my wife that she should remove me from life support because I would never wake up. My wife looked at me and I smiled at her then she said he’s awake now! You see I was in God's hands and He carried me through. I'm here because of prayer and faith. There is no better place to be than in God's hands. Amen

The Fields Are Still White Unto Harvest By Isa Bajalia, Evangelist and Missionary Birmingham, AL — It is difficult for me to contain my excitement where the Kingdom of God is concerned, especially when I speak about missions. After spending eighteen years of my life as a Pastor in Israel, and serving the last few years in North Africa, I’ve seen many productive changes. But I cannot ignore the intentional purging and down-sizing of the Christian communities in nations like Iraq, Syria, Israel, Egypt, and other parts of North Africa. This reality gives me a greater resolve and determination to share the good news of hope through Jesus in anti-Christian environments. I too have had the experience of being beaten, put in jail and then deported for preaching in other nations. However, I cannot escape the fact that God’s love compels me to continue doing more of the same. I have witnessed the persecution of
believers in several places, but much greater is the comfort the Holy Spirit gives us after such experiences. The Words of the apostle Paul inspire me when he declares that he is indebted to those to whom he is called to serve. I pray that Pastors would be open to host such missionaries and allow us to share with their congregations. The fields are still white unto harvest, but the laborers are few. I believe there is someone in every church who is a potential candidate for the mission field. It may be that they just need to hear an encouraging message from a missionary who has already been there. Editors note: Isa Bajalia is a born again Arab called to preach Jesus. Pastor Flora Anderson Bradenton, FL — As a child I would go to church but never really had a relationship with Jesus. I knew a little about Him but did not actually know Him. It was January 19, 1992, on a Sunday morning, and I will never forget that day I made Jesus my Lord and Savior. Up early to prepare my Sunday dinner as usual when the phone rang. I couldn’t imagine who was calling so early in the morning. It was Aunt Anna Mae. She said she was calling to give me an important message. A message that God had spoken to her in a dream and directed her to tell me to get my life together. Many times in the past she had invited me to church

She talked for a few more minutes about Jesus and then invited me once again to come to church. I never gave her an answer before we hung up. As I continued preparing my dinner, I thought about what my aunt had said. There was a feeling on the inside of me that I couldn’t explain. I didn’t know it at the time but it was the Holy Spirit drawing me to Jesus. Even though I had experienced that feeling many times before, usually
I ignored it. However, this time was different! The feeling was so strong, so intense, that I made up my mind to go to church that morning. It turned out to be the most important decision of my life! Hallelujah! My husband James was still in bed. When I went in the room and announced to him that I was going to church, you can imagine the bewildered look on his face. We had never even talked about going to church in all 11 years that we had been married. As a matter of fact, we had been out partying and drinking the night before! He was totally confused as he watched me preparing to go to church. There was no time it to explain to him, I just knew I had to go to church that morning! When my aunt saw me walk into church, her face lit up with the biggest smile I had ever seen. Her obedience to the Holy Spirits’ instructions snatched me out of the pits of hell! Glory! I don’t remember all of what Pastor Carr preached about that beautiful Sunday morning, but I do remember when he gave the altar call. I ran down the aisle and received Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Since that day, my life has never been the same. Thank You Jesus! It was the greatest day of my life! A day I’ll always remember.
