Navigation Wealth Management Ltd have just opened their new office on Spencer Street, Beverley, and provide holistic wealth management advice to clients based across the UK, helping them to achieve their individual financial aspirations.

They are renowned for demonstrating knowledge & expertise, offering sound advice and exceptional service, as demonstrated in their nomination as an awards finalist for Customer Service Team of the Year 2022 at the Yorkshire Financial Awards.

Navigation Wealth Management was founded in 2000 by David North, one of three owners of the business alongside colleagues, Darren Wood and CEO, Matt Hammond: and working in partnership alongside St. James’s Place Wealth Management, a FTSE 100 company.

Matt told me “when you hear the words, wealth management, it can often be interpreted as a service just for the wealthy, but it’s absolutely not the case”. Matt explains “we offer financial advice for everyone, whether it’s somebody starting on the property ladder for the first time who requires a mortgage or life protection to keep their family safe, all the way through to planning for; or at retirement, investment and inheritance tax planning for both individuals and corporate companies”.

We provide advice and services to individuals, business owners and medical professionals, including GPs and Dentists.

At Navigation Wealth Management Ltd, “we believe in spending time with our clients, building long term relationships, to ensure we learn about you, your current position and discuss your aspirations for the future. This is achieved through regular face-to-face meetings to build, monitor, review and amend investment propositions, which we feel are essential to effective financial planning”.

Speaking with Matt, who was born in Beverley and attended school in Hornsea, he told us “We believe in good old fashioned, client-centric advice and service”. “We aim to give every one of our clients an individually tailored service to help meet their objectives. Matt explained that they been growing a team of financial advisers in the business with varying specialisms, allowing the company to provide a service for any need. “We have 45 team members, 21 of which are Financial Advisers or Client Relationship Managers, and 6 of these advisors are based here in Beverley”.

Matt said “we have clients all over the UK and beyond, but we had a huge presence in East Yorkshire with existing clients. It was them who suggested we should bring our award-winning advice and service to Beverley”. Matt says that he isn’t surprised by the welcome they have received from the local community. “It’s been a warm and supportive reception, which is everything that the people of East Yorkshire are known for, and I hope to meet more of the local community now our doors are open for business”.

Navigation Wealth Management have already done their part to give back and reciprocate this by supporting several local charities and good causes including the Cash for Kids ‘Mission Christmas’ Appeal and by donating over £6,000 in recent fundraising activities (2021). Matt told me “I’d love to be able to take that up and increase it further in 2022”.
