HFCC’s new Biotechnology Program can help you gain the skills you need to become a biotechnology laboratory technician.

Because the curriculum for this program was developed in partnership with southeastern Michigan’s biotechnology employers, our students receive training in marketable, relevant, and up-to-date biotechnology techniques. HFCC’s Biotechnology Program integrates authentic work-based experiences, training in modern instrumentation and new technologies, and rigorous science content to prepare students for a career in a molecular biology laboratory. This intensive program emphasizes hands-on experience to help students gain the technical skills desired by area employers.
