Bostik Inc. Bostik’s Ultra-Set SingleStep is a one-part, trowel-applied, tacking, moisture-cure urethane adhesive, as well as a moisture-vapor and sound-reduction membrane. DriTac Flooring Products LLC DriTac Eco-6200GR Pressure Sensitive Green Flooring Adhesive is completely solvent-free and contains zero VOCs. Franklin International Franklin International says its Titebond 991 ProVantage Wood Flooring Adhesive is ideal for new construction, primarily with engineered, solid and bamboo flooring. Franklin International says the VOC-compliant advanced solvent adhesive is highly moisture-resistant, and it is not adversely affected by exposure to moisture or water. Easy-Moisture-Control EMC 2011 is an installer-friendly premium acrylic adhesive and moisture control system in a single product that cuts labor time in half, as it provides adhesion and moisture protection in one application, Royal Adhesives says. EMC 2011 is applied with a specially designed trowel that is included with every pail.
Stauf Adhesives PUM-950 is a urethanebased adhesive that does not contain any isocyanates. Stauf says PUM-950 will not etch finish, irritate skin or cause cleanup problems. This adhesive can be used with engineered flooring from ¼ to ¾ inch thick, and solid flooring from ½ to ¾ inch thick.

Synthetic Surfaces Inc. says that many installers prefer its Nordot Adhesive #113D because it’s a user-friendly, one-part curing urethane that pours and spreads easily, unlike paste adhesives. W.F. Taylor says its Meta-Tec MS-Plus Advance Wood Flooring Adhesive is an advanced next-generation adhesive. It offers higher performance and greater user-friendliness, is Greenguard-certified, and provides excellent concrete-moistureinhibition, sound-deadening, and crackisolation properties, Taylor adds.
Dyna-Stix WDU from XL Brands is a moisture-cured urethane adhesive for slabs with high moisture. The company says that if Dyna-Stix WDU is used when installing engineered wood flooring on or above grade, no moisture or pH testing is required.
