A downhill mountain bike event for Youth riders aged between 8 and 16
What is it?
Part of the Scottish Cycling Mini-downhill series riders will have two attempts to record the fastest time down the course. The winners from each category will be entered in the series final which will take place in Fort William as part of the UCI World Cup and will race in front of hundreds of spectators and mix it up with the professional riders.
Suitable for...
Male & female youth riders. All riders must wear a full-face helmet Categories: 8 - 10 years / 10 - 12 years / 12 - 14 years / 14 - 16 years

The Tour of the Lochs is a guided road cycle ride around the Stormont area to the east of Dunkled.
Description...
The route will be approximatley 20 miles and has a couple of larger hills, but the atmosphere will be relaxed allowing you to chat to fellow riders, get some coaching tips from the Skinny Tyres guides and just enjoy the scenery. Riders under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

Come off the A9 Northbound just after the turning for Dunkeld and Blairgowrie. Sign posted The Hermitage. Take the fireroad up the hill (don’t park at the two bottom car parks), and follow until you reach the quarry car park in the woods. Description...
A leisurely road ride (with some off-road) for any one who enjoys cycling in company.
What is it?
This leisurely on-road cycle will follow the NCN77 cycle route out of Birnam, entering Murthly estate from the Pittensorn road. After passing through Murthly village we re-enter the estate, eventually completing the circuit via NCN77. The ride is suitable for anyone who enjoys a leisurely evening ride of approximately 11 miles. There will be both a leader and a tail rider, so no one will be left behind. Tracks through the estate ground may be muddy, so skinny tyres are not recommended. Participants are welcome to stay on for a drink afterwards.
