For the socialites of New England, it will be the Wedding of the Year: seven hundred guests, magnums of Veuve Clicquot and the beautiful, sophisticated Tracy Lord as the bride-to-be. And the groom? According to the invitations, that honour goes to self-made man, George Kittredge. And even if George is, well, not quite from the top drawer and a little dull - his upright character perfectly matches Tracy’s reputation as a paragon of virtue. After our smash-hit production of Kiss Me, Kate in 2010, PFT returns to the genius of Cole Porter with a large cast, a fabulous swing band and some great songs (including True Love, Let’s Misbehave, Well, Did You Evah! and Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?) for the Scottish première of this witty, sparkling, high energy musical! To book, call Box Office on 01796 484 626 or go online: www.PitlochryFestivalTheatre.com.

Thursday 8th June to Thursday 12th October People By Alan Bennett Pitlochry Festival Theatre

With a bath on the billiard table and a garden resembling a jungle, aristocrat (and former model) Dorothy Stacpoole faces a desperate situation. The decaying family pile is close to ruin.
