A multigenerational assemblage of standout ’Vettes, led by KISS frontman Paul Stanley’s Factory Customized VIN 001 2022 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible, a COPO Camaro previously owned by MLB Hall of Famer Reggie Jackson, two Ford Eleanor Mustang Tributes and a very Regal 1987 Buick Turbo are some of the early consignments for the 14th Barrett-Jackson Auction in Las Vegas, June 30–July 2, at the Las Vegas Convention Center – West Hall.
“Offering vehicles with celebrity provenance is something Barrett-Jackson is well known for, and especially during our annual Las Vegas Auction,” says Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson, The World's Greatest Collector Car Auctions®. “We’re thrilled to return to the entertainment capital of the world with an iconic C8 Corvette owned by one of the most famous names in rock and roll history.” As with all auction cars, Stanley’s 3-liter C8 will be offered at No Reserve. He became acquainted with Chevrolet’s top executives when the C7 debuted in 2013; Mark Reuss, the president, asked if he would like to take part in designing a 2015 Stingray model for the 2014 SEMA Show. He agreed and worked with the carmaker to create a color inspired by a supercar he had seen, which is close to the Long Beach Red paint option offered in 2016.
Another Corvette, a 1963 Z06, honoring the great Corvette designer, Zora Arkus-Duntov, includes the 360-horsepower L84-code 327-ci small block, mechanical fuel injection system and a four-speed manual transmission with a posi-traction rear axle. Only 199 cars with the Z06 package were produced.

convertible is powered by a new GM crate 6.2-liter LS3 engine producing 495 horses paired to a 4L75E 4-speed automatic transmission.
“It seems like just yesterday we were hosting the first-ever public event in the new West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center last year,” says Steve Davis, president of Barrett-Jackson. “It was an honor to do so, and it turned out to be our most successful Las Vegas auction in BarrettJackson history.”
Two classic 1969 Bowties are a Camaro ZL1 COPO #27 of 69 that year; baseball great Reggie Jackson was the former owner. Power for the Fathom Green-liveried racer comes from an all-aluminum 427-ci ZL1 engine linked to an automatic transmission. And, a 1969 custom convertible packs a supercharged 6.2-liter GM LT4 V-8 crate engine and a GM 8-speed automatic transmission.
Both the 1967 and 1968 Ford Mustang Eleanor Tribute Editions have an Eleanor Certificate of Authenticity. The 1967 Fastback has a Ford Performance Coyote 5.0-liter engine and a TKO 600 6-speed manual transmission. The 1968 Eleanor began as a Candy Apple J Code 302 V-8 fastback and today features a 427-ci Ford stroker smallblock engine with an upgraded C6 3-speed automatic transmission.
From Mopar, a Plum Crazy 1970 Dodge HEMI Challenger RT/SE is one of 22 produced with a HEMI and a 4-speed. It is powered by a period-correct 426/425-hp V-8 HEMI with a manual 4-speed A833 transmission. And, from the same year, a matching-numbers Plymouth Superbird is finished in B5 Blue and carries the 440-ci V-8 with a 6-barrel carburetor paired to an automatic transmission.
And, as featured on the cover of GM High-Tech and Car Craft magazines, a 1987 Buick Regal Limited Custom is powered by a 276-ci Buick Motors Stage II engine backed by a Billet TH400 automatic transmission. They call it “The Silver Bullet.”
