GOOGLE'S ONE BILLION DOLLAR AFFORDABLE HOUSING INVESTMENT velopments in San José and Sunnyvale—we’ve invested in developing housing that meets the needs of these communities. But there’s more to do.” Hilbert Morales EL OBSERVADOR

oogle just announced this week that $1 billion will be allocated to address the need for '20,000 affordable housing units' in the 'San Francisco Bay Area, which includes the Greater San José Metropolitan Area (Silicon Valley). This announcement was made using a social media blog entitled, “Google Pledges $1 billion for 20,000 Affordable Homes” authored by Google's CEO Sundar Pichai, posted Jun 18, 2019. This item read as follows: “As we work to build a more helpful Google, we know our responsibility to help starts at home. For us, that means being a good neighbor in the place where it all began over 20 years ago: the San Francisco Bay Area.” “Today, Google is one of the Bay Area’s largest employers. Across the region, one issue stands out as particularly urgent and complex: housing. The lack of new supply, combined with the rising cost of living, has resulted in a severe shortage of affordable housing options for longtime middle- and low-income residents. As Google grows throughout the Bay Area— whether it’s in our hometown of Mountain View, in San Francisco, or in our future de-

“Today we’re announcing an additional $1 billion investment in housing across the Bay Area.” “First, over the next 10 years, we’ll repurpose at least $750 million of Google’s land, most of which is currently zoned for office or commercial space, as residential housing. This will enable us to support the development of at least 15,000 new homes at all income levels in the Bay Area, including housing options for middle and low-income families. (By way of comparison, 3,000 total homes were built in the South Bay in 2018). We hope this plays a role in addressing the chronic shortage of affordable housing options for long-time middleand low-income residents.” “Second, we’ll establish a $250 million investment fund so that we can provide incentives to enable developers to build at least 5,000 affordable housing units across the market. In addition to the increased supply of affordable housing these investments will help create, we will give $50 million in grants through Google.org to nonprofits focused on the issues of homelessness and displacement.” “This builds on the $18 million in grants we’ve given to help address homelessness over the last five years, including $3 million we gave to the newly opened SF Naviga-

tion Center and $1.5 million to affordable housing for low income veterans and households in Mountain View.”

example which provides the underwriting needed to create housing needed by their additional employees?

“In the coming months, we’ll continue to work with local municipalities to support plans that allow residential developers to build quickly and economically. Our goal is to get housing construction started immediately, and for homes to be available in the next few years. In Mountain View, we’ve already worked with the city to change zoning in the North Bayshore area to free up land for housing, and we’re currently in productive conversations with Sunnyvale and San José.”

San José Mayor Sam Liccardo offered this statement: “For several months, we have encouraged Google to make a bold commitment to address our region’s affordable housing challenge. We look forward to working with Google to ensure today’s announcement (of that $1 billion allocation) manifests into housing that will benefit thousands of San José residents struggling under the burden of high rents.”

An additional concern is who, other than EO, will help champion the representation of the local Latino community? The fact of the matter is that EO could be the official communicator of the information to be made available to the community on a general basis in addition to the usual publication of information of interest.

“Of course, affordable and quality housing is only one way we’re investing in Bay Area communities. We’re also funding community spaces that provide free access to co-working areas for nonprofits, improving transit options for the community and our employees (taking 9,000 cars off the road per day), and supporting programs for career development, education and local businesses.” “Across all of this, our goal is to help communities succeed over the long term, and make sure that everyone has access to opportunity, whether or not they work in tech. Solving a big issue like the housing shortage will take collaboration across business, government and community organizations, and we look forward to working alongside others to make the Bay Area a place where everyone who lives here can thrive.” POSTED IN: COMPANY AN-

While most media have focused on the critical shortage of housing units, Google's CEO also includes their interest in the homeless and lowincome long-term residents in addition to education and working with local non-profit organizations. I commend Google's CEO for inclusion of “good Samaritan stewardship” efforts which go beyond the usual focus on profits. A corporate stewardship is also addressed which includes the homeless, low-income long-term residents, and issues usually grouped under the gentrification of a community. In addition, several major firms located in Silicon Valley need to be challenged to join this effort by also making their contribution. The reality is that 20,000 housing units is just the beginning. I added up the influx of additional labor forces to total 12,000 for Apple and 15,000 for Amazon. Can these corporations follow this 'good Samaritan stewardship'

As a local owned and operated publication, EO is in a unique position to publish and post online on its website the information which the community at large will need to know. This is essential to the collaboration and coordination of community organizational actions. EO wants to point out that the local millennial youth will need role models, advisors, and counselors to help them define a path to becoming the 'knowledge workers' the local high-tech industry needs (in order to expand the skilled local workforce). As a local Latino owned and operated publication, EO is willing to be a partner in the dissemination of good, truthful, and factual information which will accelerate the transitions the Latino community needs to become a full partner in this community and its enterprises. Once again, EO thanks Google's CEO Sundar Pichai for his visionary and compassionate actions which include good Samaritan stewardship.

ACRAMENTO, Calif. - A new report ranks California 35th in the nation for overall child well-being - a slight improvement over last year. The 2019 Kids Count Data Book from the Annie E. Casey Foundation showed the state has made great strides in health but still lags in economic well-being. Kelly Hardy, senior managing director of health policy with the nonprofit Children Now, said 18% of California's children - about 1.6 million kids - live in poverty. And 46% live in households with a high housing burden. "That's partly due to the high cost of housing in California that many families with children are spending a lot of their income on housing and are living below the poverty line," Hardy said. The state has made huge progress in getting kids insured - 97% of children in the state are covered. Several years ago, California opened up Medi-Cal to undocumented children and the new budget is expected to extend eligibility to 19-25 year-olds, regardless of immigration status. That should improve measures of maternal health.

On education, the state has made gains in fourth-grade reading and eighth-grade math proficiency but still ranks 36th overall. The data showed California's 9 million children are very diverse: 52% are Latino, 28% are white, 13% are Asian or Pacific Islander and 6% are black. Leslie Boissiere, vice president for external affairs with the Casey Foundation, said strategic investments in things such as high-quality preschool and affordable child care would boost the prospects for many children from low-income neighborhoods of color. "When we look at policies that really focus on the basic needs of families and ensuring that everyone has access to opportunity, then we can see a reduction in the disparities and inequities that we see for kids of color," Boissiere said. The report also warned that any undercount in the 2020 census would hit California hard. The report estimated as many as 750,000 California kids could be missed, costing the state billions of dollars for federal programs such as the Children's Health Insurance Program, SNAP and Head Start. Q&A: “ALTERNATINO WITH ARTURO CASTRO”

A

Arturo Hilario El Observador

these things are completely absurd when you are talking to someone that hasn’t grown up with it. It’s less of angry fist-shaking and more of, “God, this is ridiculous, can we not agree that this is ridiculous?”

rturo Castro has drawn attention in his acting career with two of his most high-profile and very distinct roles: as a wide-eyed and flamboyant roommate named Jaimé in “Broad City” to Daniel, a brooding drug kingpin’s son in “Narcos” season 3. Since then, he has very much so broadened his roles, with his future projects including Walt Disney’s liveaction adaptation of “Lady and the Tramp” and a police drama called “Edge of Dawn”. Currently though, he’s reveling in the premiere this week of his new Comedy Central sketch show, “Alternatino with Arturo Castro”. Born from webisodes on Comedy Central, the Tuesday night primetime show follows Castro’s interpretations of the world around him, particularly the viewpoint of a millennial Guatemalan immigrant in New York City who isn’t particularly good at dancing salsa music and would rather discuss types of yarns and brunch rather than Latin American policy. Some of the sketches in the show deal with broad strokes of experiences, such as awkward first dates, and sketches that are just plain peculiar and hilarious like that of a depressed sentient robot assistant that doesn’t feel confident enough to start a takeover of humanity. Then there are more specific experiences that deal with the current political climate, from a very darkly comedic view of ICE and children in cages as an organic food advertisement, to Latinx experiences like a lovesick Arturo having his tias come to his apartment on an unannounced emergency mission and make him tamales and getting him to go out dancing with the threat of the chancla. Some of it makes you think, some of it just makes you laugh, but it’s neither too on the nose, or makes you feel like you’re being scolded with political views, which was important for Castro to get across. The premise of the show came straight from Castro’s mind, and his actual experience being born and raised in Guatemala and then spending most of his adult life in the big apple. Recently he talked with me his thoughts on the responsibilities and opportunities he gets having a show and finding the right mix of social commentary and straightforward comedy. (Side note: We do share the same first name so that was a funny introduction over the phone) Hey Arturo thanks for the time. To start off, where did the show’s premise or its inspiration come from? I just really didn’t see anybody out there on television that I could identify with really. Every time I saw something about a Latino it was something broad. I just really never saw anything about a neurotic dude that’s a little metro and can’t really dance salsa [like] some of these stereotypes on tv. I think that comedy can be a really instructional tool and a real empathy building tool you know, so I was just inspired to create something around that. Although it is a collection of sketches there is the overarching character arch of Arturo throughout the show and his dealing with the duality of identity and misconceptions of being Latinx. How much of his experiences is something that comes from personal experiences? Most of them. Obviously, they’re exaggerated versions but for example when you’re from Guatemala or you’re from Latin American countries [people] really try to push this “poverty

Can you talk about the guests that you have in your show? After watching this season, I noticed a few familiar faces that you’ve acted alongside, as well as upcoming talent in comedy.

porn” sort of angle on you. “Was it really hard on the streets of Guatemala?” I [say], “Sure, I fell off my bike a couple times.” It’s either something that happened to me or my writers. A lot of the show is a reflection of things that I was thinking about or mulling over while we were writing it. I gotta give my writers credit too for starting to think in my voice and just dealing with situations like that as well. I had been dating a girl for two weeks and then it was her birthday, and in the writer’s room I was like, “What the fuck am I gonna do?! Do I buy her a gift?” They were like, “No! It’s too soon.” And then we were like, “Oh my god, we should write it!”

and things that are relatable even if you’re not Latino, [mixed] with “being Latin” specific stuff. Then when we get into the editing room...you’re sort of playing around with it. In the initial process it’s just picking the things that call to us the most. We weren’t really trying to pander, we weren’t really trying [to do things] that were super specific, it’s just the things that I find funny. When I realized that also, having growing up in Guatemala, and spending most of my adult life in New York, there’s some specific perspectives that I have, the more specific I make it sometimes I feel the more relatable it is as opposed to trying to be relatable to everybody. So that’s how we map it out.

I was never a very political person up until they started caging kids, and those images sort of changed me. Could you talk about how your writer’s room is? What’s the makeup of the group? It’s not very big, it’s eight people: Three Latinos; among them one is a woman, one is a LGBTQ+ woman, and another woman, and then the rest are white dudes. And so, that’s just the majority of the package that you get. Because the room was so small, I felt like we were representative – [but] there’s always room to go further. But the tricky part is in order for somebody to get their writing packet to me, they have to have an agent first. And if they haven’t had the opportunity to write before for a show, they might not get an agent. Sometimes it’s tricky looking for Latino talent in comedy writing. There’s a lot of talent out there but in order to get to our table we definitely need to search. Hopefully we get to do more seasons and go even further with the writer’s room. How did you and your crew figure out how to tackle such a large diaspora of Latinx culture in 20-minute segments? We pick the sketches that we love the most, and then it’s like a chess game. We have an idea of what sketches we have in each episode and we try to balance it. Not too much political stuff,

It does come off as a show that isn’t pushing certain perspectives in your face, but more like taking you on comedic journey through these different points of view. We focus on funny first. It’s gotta make us laugh. And then, if we can also put a perspective into it, that’s a double whammy. We’re just trying to make the funniest thing possible. Also, I was never a very political person up until they started caging kids, and those images sort of changed me. I realized that having a platform like this and not speaking on behalf of those that don’t have a voice or are not being heard would have been irresponsible. And so that’s where a lot of that comes from. But it also comes with a spoonful of sugar, it comes from comedy. Which I think can really be disarming in its message. When somebody talks with something “soapboxy” you’re immediately shut off. When someone makes you laugh while making you think, that’s the best way to receive the message. And you are tackling things like gun violence and xenophobia creatively in this which is a fine line to manage. We’re just seeing it from the point of view of this Latino immigrant, my point is that some of

Listen, I’ve been blessed to have worked in shows in different genres, and I’ve become fans of people I’ve worked with. I’m so happy that they want to work with me as well so whenever an opportunity came up to hire somebody for a specific role I would think of - for example the translator sketch is so funny with the “Narcos” cast. So, we flew Pêpê Rapazote in from Portugal, and then we had the guy from “The Sopranos” who I’ve always admired. These two amazing dramatic actors and putting them in a room with a complete fucking idiot is really funny to me. Listen, the best gift about having a show is employing people. People get to go to work, they get to go see their families, they get to be on TV, further their careers with something that you created in your head, in a basement in Brooklyn somewhere. That to me is the greatest gift. Do you have anything in this inaugural season that is your favorite bit? I’ve had a hand in everything we’ve put forward for sure but the most personal ones I believe, like the quinceañera storyline, was something that we added last minute. We had this storyline about Arturo trying to get into a fancy dating app, like the whole episode was him trying to primp up his profile in order to get accepted. It seemed to me it was funny, but I thought, “Family is super important to me, and there’s nothing that makes me more selfless than fighting for somebody that doesn’t have the opportunity to fight for themselves.” So, the quinceañera thing came together. Usually these things take rounds of notes, you send them to the network, you rework. And with this, [the network] really believed in my vision and my writers room and I was just really happy that we got to do it. I have to credit one of my writers, Jennifer Burton, she’s really good at capturing heart. And so, me and Jen talked for like 15 minutes and I told her what the concept was, and she gave me a draft the very next day. Then I workshopped the draft and that’s what we shot. So that was very personal to me. That and tias [episode] are the most personal of the interstitials for me. Onto my last question, what do you hope that viewers get from this show? I hope that it dispels some of the ignorance, I hope that it creates some empathy. I feel that if you see somebody that doesn’t look like you going through situations that you can relate to; maybe next time you see them it won’t be that foreign to you? And so, my hope is my main theory, that the human experience on a base level is pretty much the same, everybody can relate to being awkward on a first date, or nervous at a job interview, or an idea of you being put on you that you don’t relate to. So, hopefully that will start a conversation, and bridge the gap a little bit. That would be the dream. And that I get to wear a lot of wigs and put on dresses, that’s fucking sick!

NEW CA BUDGET MOVES CLOSER TO UNIVERSAL HEALTH COVERAGE

JUN 21 - JUN 27, 2019

The new California state budget makes more low-income seniors eligible for Medi-Cal, which has lower co-pays and broader coverage than Medicare. Suzanne Potter California News Service

with a state-level mandate that everyone carry health insurance or pay a fine.

ACRAMENTO, Calif. - California's new $214 billion budget, passed by the state Senate on Thursday June 13, moves the Golden State closer to universal health coverage.

The budget also sets aside $100 million to allow lowincome, undocumented immigrants, ages 19 to 25, to sign up for Medi-Cal. Critics of the budget say the extra spending is unwise and complain that it was made possible by a new gas tax of five cents a gallon - a policy they opposed.

S

The plan, which is expected to be signed by Gov. Gavin Newsom, puts almost $1.5 billion over three years toward subsidies to lower the premiums for people who buy health insurance through the "CoveredCA" exchange.

Wright notes the budget also restores several important benefits to Medi-Cal - things that were cut during the recession 10 years ago.

Anthony Wright, executive director of the nonprofit Health Access, says the aid is tailored to low-and middle-income people who make between $17,000 and $72,000 a year.

"It's a shame that it's taken 10 years of an economic recovery to finally get these key benefits restored, whether they be podiatry, audiology, speech therapy, optical and other key medical services," says Wright.

"About a million Californians might get some help to better defray the costs of healthcare," says Wright. "Of those, about 300,000 get enough help that they may be newly covered from previously being uninsured."

The budget also ends the so-called "senior penalty" in Medi-Cal, by changing the income limits to make about 27,000 additional lower-income seniors and people with disabilities eligible for the program.

3 RAZONES PARA IR A PESCAR EN TU PRÓXIMO 3 REASONS TO GO FISHING ON YOUR NEXT DAY TRIP 2. It’s accessible. VIAJE DE UN DÍA Many people live near lakes or other bodies of water, allowing easy access to the sport. For others, water may be just a short drive away, making for a perfect one-day escape or weekend getaway. Also, fishing isn’t complicated to learn and doesn’t require a ton of expensive equipment. Whether you own or rent a boat, or fish from a dock or shoreline, learning the basics with an affordable rod and reel is something anyone can do. Also, there are plenty of lure options that make fishing a quick and fun pursuit for any skill level.

hen the weather warms up, it’s the perfect time to spend a day casting on the water. Whether you’re an experienced fisherman, a novice or a family looking for a fun, all-ages activity, fishing is an easy and enjoyable choice. Here are three reasons for you and your family to go fishing for your next day trip: 1. It’s a fun way to spend time together.

3. It’s good for you. Spending time outdoors offers significant health benefits. One huge advantage of fishing together is that it allows families to get away from screens. Everyone can set their phones and gadgets aside to enjoy time in nature and relish each other’s company without distractions. If a child is spending too much time with electronics, breaking up their routine with an outdoor activity like fishing can expose them to the benefits of inperson interaction, engaging with the real world and experiencing the beauty of nature.

Fishing is a fun activity that gets kids outdoors and engaged, and it’s easy for anyone to participate, regardless of their age. Fishing allows friends and families to enjoy a relaxing day together, and helps keep their focus on each other, nature and the activity at hand. For kids interested in fishing on a regular basis, organized youth fishing programs are becoming increasingly popular nationwide. These programs and high school fishing teams are growing rapidly, getting support from well-known fishing companies including lure manufacturer Rapala, which sponsors the Student Angler Tournament Trail.

Here are additional health benefits that come with fishing outdoors:

“We are witnessing an exciting explosion in youth enjoyment of fishing,” says Rapala marketing director Matt Jensen. “High school and college fishing teams are growing faster than we’ve ever seen and it’s encouraging kids to get into the sport at a younger age.”

Exercise. Walking and boating help burn calories and increases heart rate. And even though the participants may not notice, fishing helps stretch and flex some of the body’s underused muscles.

These programs are a great way to teach kids fishing basics, allowing them to pursue a lifelong sport. Summer is an ideal time to sign kids up for fishing camps and schedule fishing trips for the whole family.

Vitamin D. Just 10-15 minutes of midday sun provides a healthy dose of vitamin D, which helps bodies absorb calcium. This boosts bone growth and health, and fights disease. Vitamin D also elevates mood, helping with depression. Relaxation. Being outdoors, breathing fresh air and spending time on a body of water relieves stress and lowers blood pressure. For people constantly on the go, it’s a great way to take a much-needed break.

With its widespread accessibility, health benefits and ease of participation, fishing is a great way to get outside and enjoy the beautiful summer weather ahead. You just might catch some fish — and have a great time doing it.

okyo, Jan 18 - Imagine a wedding ceremony where a pair of Pikachus dressed in a bow tie and veil wait at the altar; the guests are taken to the banquet adorned with Pokeballs, and the theme runs everywhere from invitation cards, to the menu and even tables. In an age when the wedding industry in Japan is going through a slump owing to a fall in the number of marriages, a firm in Japan has decided to take advantage of the popularity of Pokémon franchise and use it as a strategy to revitalize the sector. Escrit has become the first, and currently the only establishment, authorized by The Pokémon Company to acquire the rights to offer "official" Pokémon themed weddings with the number of weddings progressively declining in Japan in recent years. In 2018, it fell to its lowest since the post-war era, reaching 586,438, a drop of 20,428 from the year before, according to data from the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare. Among those that decide to get married, "there is an increase in the number of people doing so without a ceremony,” Midori Murai of Escrit's communications department told EFE. “Moreover, with the spread of social networks, there is a growing number of people who are bored of having weddings similar to the rest and want something more personal and original," Murai said. The Escrit spokesperson said “approaching clients who think, 'we would like to hold a ceremony if it were like this'” with these theme based ceremonies could be good for revitalizing the wedding industry. The first Pokémon wedding took place on May 25 and generated a lot of interest, mainly on social networks, at a moment when Pokémon fever returns with the announcement of new games for mobiles and the scheduled launch of Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield in Nov. 15. Pokémon is not the first franchise Escrit has

tied up with. In 2016, it began offering Hello Kitty themed ceremonies, and in 2017 it tried its hand with a plan inspired by the successful videogame "Monster Hunter", where the bride and groom cut the cake with a replica of the Epitaph Blade, used in the game. All their plans include a series of exclusive products, the most significant one – a unique model of a document that is required by newlyweds in Japan to submit to the authorities for getting their marriage legalized. For The Pokémon Company, which has earned billions from the franchise products, these weddings are "a new challenge." "Ten years ago, almost all Pokémon goods were only for kids. Now, Pokémon goods are very popular with both kids and adults. Pokémon fans have expanded to a lot of generations, and of late, even apparel items and cosmetics make good sales," Sahoko Morotsuki, of The Pokémon Company's licensing department, told EFE. While neither Escrit nor The Pokémon Company revealed the number of bookings for Pokémon weddings since it was first offered on Feb. 27, the firms said they were surprised by the number, which was way above their initial expectations. They said they reached their annual target in just two months. The firms also refused to divulge the cost of these ceremonies. Weddings in Japan cost an average of 3,724,000 yen ($34,400) in 2017, according to a survey by Recruit Marketing Partners, publisher of Zexy wedding magazine. Pokémon weddings are currently held in 32 sites across the country, from Sendai (northeast) to Okinawa (southwest), but it is a limited-time offer as the company currently plans to manage them until December 2020. "From 2021 nothing is decided," explained Murai, and they could even continue with it for longer.

AN JOSÉ, CA – On June 18, 2019 Teatro Visión announced that its latest new work creation project – Raíces: El libro de los caminos / Roots: The Book of Journeys – has been awarded a grant from the MAP Fund. 42 projects from across the United States received funding from the MAP Fund this year, from a pool of over 1,000 applications. Raíces: El libro de los caminos / Roots: The Book of Journeys will be a new work that explores migration as a boundless human practice, created by Teatro Visión in partnership with Mexico City street theater ensemble La Quinta Teatro, led by director Salomón Santiago. This new work will combine Teatro Visión’s deep commitment to community-based participatory theater with La Quinta Teatro’s playful, colorful, large-scale work designed for both indoor and outdoor settings. Local composer Dr. Russell C. Rodríguez will create original music for the project. Teatro Visión’s Artistic Director, Rodrigo García, explains, “In indigenous culture, ‘sharing and reciprocity’ is a foundational social and spiritual principle that defines how a community exists in

mutual benefit. The project Raíces emanates from this principle and strives to create an enriching bond of mutual learning and understanding in the context of migration among the communities living in San José, CA and those living in Mexico.” Throughout the creation process, communities in the Bay Area and Mexico City will be invited to join the artists for participatory workshops. Community members will also share personal stories of migration as it pertains to individuals and families, as well as to ideas, traditions, history, art, and spirit. The artists will weave these stories into the structure of Raíces. Public workshops and interviews will be held in San José and in Mexico City beginning in late summer 2019. The finished piece will premiere in the theater and the outdoor courtyard at the School of Arts and Culture at the Mexican Heritage Plaza in San José in 2021. uemar incienso es básico y necesario a la hora de realizar rituales religiosos, místicos y espirituales, atrae buenas vibraciones y libera de energías adversas los lugares donde se quema.

T-Mobile has tried to merge with a competitor three times in the past, but the deals have been blocked each time. Suzanne Potter California News Service

ACRAMENTO, Calif. - The proposed merger between T-Mobile and Sprint hit a big roadblock on Tuesday June 11, as state attorneys general from California, New York and seven other states and the District of Columbia sued to stop the deal, citing antitrust issues. The two companies provide wireless service to 13 million Californians, including many lower-income families who depend on prepaid plans for internet and cell service. California Attorney General Xavier Becerra said a merger would kill competition in an already tight market. "The new company would have more than 50% of the market share in some parts of our great state, including Los Angeles, but also in places like Imperial County," he said. "That combined market share would exceed the threshold at which mergers are presumed to violate antitrust laws."

lawsuit claims that decreased competition inevitably would lead to higher prices. Becerra said studies done in Europe showed a 16% to 20% average price hike when mergers shrank that market from four major players to three. Sprint and T-Mobile have argued that the merger would allow them to roll out new 5G technology faster and bring it to underserved rural areas. However, Becerra said economic analysis by his office shows California consumers collectively would end up paying $4.5 billion more per year. "It would result in significant price increases for Sprint and T-Mobile customers, month after month, year after year," he said, "and the ripple effect of those price increases could cause even greater harm to the market at large, and to customers on other networks." Federal Communications Commission Chairman Agit Pai has indicated support for the merger deal. The Justice Department's antitrust division has yet to issue an opinion. The lawsuit is online at oag.ca.gov

ACRAMENTO, Calif.
