Sweet Angela’s Mountain The Junior High production was a success! By Wil Twedt

“I’m not so sure if I can be the right kind of leader…” this could be one of the thoughts that went through the head of 8th grader Laura Tungseth as she learned that she was taking the main role of the play. Laura played Angela Winters in the play, and she was slightly worried about that. “I was worried about being too bossy, or not meeting the expectations as the lead role.” Laura continued,”I also didn’t want to be big headed about it.” The Junior High put on a production

that showed how a nurse from the city moves out to the mountains and takes responsibility for an orphanage back in the early 1900s. The play showed people that even if you don’t want to do something, much like Angela not wanting to go to work at the orphanage, God has a reason for you to be there. You will find that if you just obey God’s will, your life will be more fulfilling, but not necessarily easier. “I think that the message got to people,” said Laura,”Sometimes I would Continued on page 2...
