Ectomy in medicine means to “take out.”

Pet Corner

Hello everyone, and welcome to the bunny world!

We got our bunnies in the summer from somewhere in Port Colborne. When they were five months old, they got separated from their brother. When the bunnies got home, they were scared to get out of their cage or even let us touch them. Eventually, they got used to their home and let us pet them. The bunnies are ten months old now.

First, I want you to meet Mochi. Mochi is a tuxedo dwarf bunny with silver eyes and a white and black fur coat.

The second bunny, Greyle or Grey, is a lionhead dwarf rabbit and Mochi’s sister. She has black eyes and a grey fur coat.

The bunnies eat grass pellets, hay or dried grass, and drink lots of water. Sometimes I like to give the bunnies treats if they behave well. For treats, I like to give them cabbage, carrots, lettuce, and a slice of apple. When I give my bunnies food, Mochi and Grey start to fight over it, and whoever wins gets the food.

My bunnies need 20 minutes of exercise because they don’t get to do whatever they want in the cage. Grey likes to go up the stairs and just sit at the top while Mochi likes to hop around at the bottom of the stairs.

The bunnies go to sleep at 5:00pm every day and wake up at 1:00-2:00am and they start to do whatever bunnies do while I sleep.

I hope you enjoyed reading about my two bunnies!
