Gaboon Viper The Gaboon Viper, also known as the Bitis Gabonica, is apart of the venomous species of vipers found in rainforests and the savannas of the Sub-Saharan Africa. It is known as one of the larger Vipers in this Species. It reaches 4-5 feet as an adult. It weighs 20 pounds and that’s just on an empty stomach. The Gaboon Viper lives in and around West Africa. Its is known there as a Rattlesnake, but you don’t get a warning. With its venom almost as deadly as a rattlesnake. I would just warn you to stay away.

The Tarsier The tarsier is a very cool animal. They prey on lizards, birds, bats, and snakes. They are only found in South Asia. We have found fossils in North America, Europe, and Africa. They tend to be pretty shy. They can reach speeds of 25 mph. They have really good eye sight. The size of their eyes are the size of their brain. The tarsier can jump 30 times its body length.
They weigh about 150g. They are small enough to fit in your hand. The sleep durning the day and come out to hunt at night. Another resonse they wake up at night is to protect themselfs from other animals. They aren’t related to monkeys. They are mammals. They spend their whole life in trees. They are even born in trees. They live for about 7 years.
The Arctic Red Fox The Arctic Red Fox is a fairly small and unique creature with a strange talent. It will walk around with its whiskers dragging through the snow. Until it feels the slightest vibrations, it will locate it and then lunge up to 4 feet away and dive into the snow. After its submerged nearly more than half of its body deep into the snow it will almost every time come up with a rat or mouse. The Arctic Red Fox is also known as the white fox, polar fox, or snow fox, is a small fox native to Arctic regions of the Northern Hemisphere and is common throughout the Arctic tundra area. The arctic fox is an incredibly hardy animal that can survive frigid Arctic temperatures as low as –58°F in the harsh lands yet it is still where it makes its home. It has furry soles, short ears, and a short muzzle where of which all of these help him to adapt to his chilly climate. Arctic foxes live in burrows, and in a blizzard they may tunnel into the snow to create shelter. The Arctic Red Fox is an omnivourous mammal. It’s average life span is 3 to 6 years. It will reach as long as 18 to 27 inches and weigh 7 to 17 lb.
The Lynx
The canadian lynx is very rare. It is related to the bobcat but doesn’t like the bobcat at all. It is larger than the bobcat. They have thick fur on their feet that helps them travel over thick snow. Their teeth are covered in nerves so they can feel were they are bighting. They are not afraid to swim in water. They usaully hunt in the deep snow. They make shelter within the deep forest and usaully stay with in 100 yards of the tree line. They normally live by them selfs but they can live in small groups. They usaully stay in their territory. They are know to adventure out when the food supply gets low. The mating season for the lynx is one month long(March to May). They can live up to 14 years in captivity.
Russian Snow Leopard The Russian snow leopard can running up to 37 mph, through the snow, catching its prey almost time. The eat what ever they can find. They can even kill three times it weight. Their fur helps them hind within the snow. They live up in the Russian mountains so they are really good at climbing and jumping. They are know to be very agressive. They are have really long tails to improve their balance. Their mating season lasts for two months from March to April. They are very rare because of people hunting them for their soft and cool looking pelts.
