Power Up... to Glow Up! Just a few years ago terms like Retinol, Alpha Hydroxy Acids & Hyaluronic Acid were mostly used by dermatologists or hardcore skin care users looking for the next big thing to turn back the clock. Add those to Vitamin E and stabilised Vitamin C and your skin will say, thank you. Are all ingredients created equal? No they are not. More importantly is it necessary to use powerful ingredients like these? In my experience, if you want to keep your skin glowing and healthy, then, yes you do. Alpha hydroxy acids (AHA’s), also known as Glycolic, are fruit acids that help exfoliate the surface layer of the skin. They remove dead skin cells and leave your skin more radiant. Phytic Acid is also an AHA derived from grains, is gentle on the skin and has antioxidant properties. Hyaluronic Acid supports the skins protective moisture barrier to retain hydration, helping to reduce the appearance of wrinkles. Retinol is a derivative of Vitamin A, can be found in varying strengths, is fantastic for ironing out wrinkles and keeping the skin smooth but beware, many skins don’t tolerate Retinol very well. However, a fabulous plant based, new kid on the block is making waves in the

skincare world – meet Bakuchiol. The effects of Retinol but much gentler on the skin. If you like your skincare to be cruelty free, plant based, vegan certified but bursting with clever clinical science, this Power Duo might be just for you. Let me introduce you to Arbonne Dermresults illuminating skin therapy concentrate, with 15% stabilised vitamin C, 2% Bakuchiol and 1% Ferulic Acid, a powerhouse vitamin duo of C and E, all working together to help improve the overall look of elasticity, skin radiance and firmness.
