WelcomeFROM PHILLLIPS RANCH
I am beyond excited to welcome you to the first Florida Prime Brangus Genetics bull sale. As most of you know, Phillips Ranch and Fenco Farms formed this partnership so that all our customers, especially those in Florida, could have one source of high quality Brangus bulls, in volume. This is a program with one goal in mind, and that is to provide the highest quality, most profit driven Brangus bulls available anywhere in the world. I want to extend a thank you to our genetic partners, Roaring Hills Ranch, Cross S Cattle, Clegg Sod Farm, and Whitley Cattle Company. You can feel confident buying cattle from any member of Florida Prime. I also want to thank Saddle Hill Cattle Company for their consignments to this years sale.
It is no secrete that we are experiencing unprecedented prices in all sectors of the beef industry, and according to the experts, this will continue at least through 2025. That means its time to upgrade your bull battery so that when we do see calf prices adjust back, you have bulls that sire a premium product, because we know that quality will always be worth a premium. You will find bulls in this offering that will sire heavy weaning calves that will also perform in the feedyard. There are also bulls available that will sire efficient, profitable replacement females. If you are looking for bulls that will have a positive impact on your bottom line, you will find them in this offering!
I want to thank Tim and Lisa Phillips and the entire crew at Phillips Ranch. These are the people who make this happen. Please join us for dinner and cattle viewing on Monday evening. If there is anything we can do to make your time with us more enjoyable, please don’t hesitate to let us know.
Sincerely,
Rob Singleton General Manager

WelcomeFROM FENCO FARMS
All of us at Fenco Farms are extremely excited about the Formation of the “Florida Prime, Brangus Genetics” sale. We seek to carry on the tradition of the Phillips/Fenco bull sale that our customers have grown to know, by bringing the best Brangus Bulls in the industry, along with unparalleled customer service. You will still find the same familiar faces of our Fenco Team, along with our friends over at Phillips Ranch, and Saddle Hill Cattle Company. We are extremely excited for this year’s sale and the offering that we have. The quality of the bulls we believe will speak for themselves as they have in years past. The only difference you will notice is our marketing effort as we have come together for a unified collaboration on the Florida Prime Brangus Genetics, as we believe this better represents the product we are selling. Both Phillips Ranch and Fenco Farms have been breeding and developing what we believe to be top-quality Brangus genetics for many years now, and we are proud that we are doing it in Florida, with the long hot summers, yearly hurricanes, palmetto hills and swamps. If you are raising cattle in the Southeast or Southwest, you know what I am talking about. So why not buy Bulls that are already conditioned for the worst climate that our Good Lord could throw at us?
Before all the genetics can help you, we must provide you with a bull that can breed your cow herd out in the big pastures that are the cornerstone of most cow/ calf operations. We develop our bulls at our Floral City operation in the summer heat on Bahia grass pastures. While we do supplement our bulls to get them developed and ready for the sale, we do believe in raising them in an environment in which they have to work. All our bull development traps are ½ mile long, in which our water and supplementation are on opposite ends forcing these bulls to travel several miles a day. Because of this extra travel we require from Fenco bulls, we catch most issues early on, so you do not have issues later.
I would like to thank Phillips Ranch for hosting this sale again at their incredible facilities, and Saddle Hill Cattle Company for adding some incredible genetics to the sale.
Lynda and I look forward to seeing you on Monday night and then Tuesday for sale day.
Yours Truly,
Jim & Lynda Fenton Fenco Farms

FENCO HERD SIRE
FENCO’S PREDOMINANT 111L7
PREPOTENT HERD SIRE PROSPECT FENCO’S PREDOMINANT 111L7 is a powerfully unique Registered Brangus Herd Sire prospect that is destined to climb the summit of the Brangus breed with his striking good looks and genetics full of power to burn. His daddy, Paramount is the growth herd sire bred by Cavender Ranch and owned by Cuevas T3 Brangus and a bull that hails from the high octane 7139 cow family. His donor dam, BWCC Hot Shot 111G30 is our $50,000 pick of the Blackwater herd that is really coming into her own with super progeny including a full sister to Predominant that sold to our friends at Great Mark Western for $12,500 in the Spring Cavender Ranch female sale. Not since his cousin, BWCC Big Lake 111F4 has sold is there a 111 branded bull with the unique combination of classic phenotype along with superior growth and carcass genetics. Selling 100% possession and 2/3 semen interest. FENCO Farms is retaining 1/3 semen interest.

313 BRANDED HERD SIRE PROSPECT
Mating a 313 female to Center Section might be one of the most influential crosses in recent memory. This exact mating generated nearly $85,000 on two females in June and recently the right to flush this bull’s dam commanded $30,000 through the ring. Others have done the same and produced progeny that generated north of $100,000. His mother, BWCC MS MCQUEEN 313G2, is a full sister to the $100,000 BWCC Final Time 313H2 and is a cornerstone female in the Saddle Hill program. This bull is not only impressive to look at with his extra mass and volume, but his EPD profile offers added performance with top 10% REA and IMF. As a maternal sib to the $75,000 Natural Resources bull, this one deserves equal consideration as a program changing herd sire prospect.

You just have to love his sheath design, great phenotype, extra bone and 12 traits in the Top 1/3 of the breed.
FENCO’S DOZER 192L4

Surely to be one of the sale favorites, FC DOZER 192L4 will equip your breeding program with stunning good looks, tons of bone, super sheath, and growth & carcass genes to burn. In addition, his $50,000 donor dam is one of our two picks out of the Blackwater herd that are making a huge impact in our herd. This big ribeye McQueen son sets the surface on a flawless set of feet. Like his $76,000 dam he is one who you can’t miss in the pens. He is long and level in his profile, bold centered, wide pinned and combines all this with a pedigree that almost any breeder in search of a herd sire should want. His growth focused EPD profile indicates his progeny will have breed leading performance and added carcass value traits.

His dam has been an all time favorite around the ranch for quite some time now. This past May after long deliberation we decided to feature her in our annual production sale and when the gavel dropped she commanded an impressive $45,000 with bids from all across the country. This Big Town son mashed the scales at nearly 800 pounds at weaning, combined with a balanced EPD profile highlighted with growth and carcass traits in the top 25% or better. Strikingly good looking Final Time son that will garner a ton of interest in this sale offering. He hails from the 541 cow family and a donor cow that has produced a replacement female who is the mother of another sale bull, 541L11 and a Empire daughter that sold for $7,500 to our friends at Draggin’ M Ranch. You won’t find a better hip length, style and balance than this herd sire prospect who writes a balanced numerical profile to Top 25% or Better EPDs.
FENCO’S DUVAL 111L12
PHENOMENAL PEDIGREE
FENCO’s DUVAL 111L12 is one of those bulls folks will want to hunt up at the sale as he is a maternal brother to the hugely popular Big Lake bull and by the prepotent Final Time sire that we co-own with the Clevelands and Wileys. An intriquing genetic blend, this young herd sire prospect has a ton of potential to write history just as his brother and sire have. We own the donor dam, 111C6, know as “Big Lake’s dam” with our friends at Phillips Ranch and she is still shelling out remarkable cattle to a variety of bulls. DUVAL has an exceptional genomic profile with 13 Traits in the Top 25% or better and is a bull that will work across the breed and improve numbers for the new owner. Selling 100% possession and 2/3 semen interest. FENCO Farms is retaining 1/3 semen interest.

BIDDING
Each animal will be sold to the highest bidder. The auctioneer will settle any disputes as to bids, and his decision on such matters shall be final.
TERMS
The terms of the sale are cash, check or money order at the conclusion of the sale. Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold, but it shall be the obligation of the seller to see that animals are fed and cared for until loaded for shipment or until the expiration of 48 hours after the sale, whichever occurs sooner. After 48 hours a maintenance fee of $5.00 per day will be assessed until pickup unless Phillips-FENCO sale staff arranges shipment.
SIGHT UNSEEN PURCHASES
Buyers may purchase bulls through the owners or personnel at auction without viewing the cattle. For sight unseen purchases, the buyer has the right of inspection at the time of delivery. If the animal is deemed unsatisfactory, it may be reloaded on the delivery truck and returned to the owners at no obligation to the buyer. All transportation expenses will be the responsibility of the seller. If the animal is deemed unsatisfactory within one week of the purchase, the buyer may at their expense, return the animal to the owner’s ranch for a full refund of the purchase price.
CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRY
A transferred certificate of registry will be furnished to the purchaser for each registered animal once proper settlement has been made.
HEALTH
Health papers suitable for interstate shipment will be furnished on all animals.
GENETIC CONDITIONS
All carriers or potential carriers of any known Genetic Conditions are noted in this catalog. All animals not noted as tested, have not been tested and sell as is with no further guarantees.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
Any changes from the information of any kind in this catalog will be provided in a sale day supplement sheet or announced from the auction block and such information shall take precedence over cataloged information.
BREEDING GUARANTEE
All animals are guaranteed to be breeders with the exception of: a) calves under 12 months of age; b) animals shown by purchaser after sale in which the guarantee (if any) shall be between the seller and the buyer; c) injury or disease occurring after the sale; d) gross negligence or willful misconduct on the part of the purchaser; e) death by any reason. Any bull which settles cows by natural service and passes a fertility test made by competent veterinarians, mutually agreed upon by the buyer and seller, during any six month period of trial (provided for in paragraph 2 of the section of these sales terms and conditions entitled “Options and Privileges of Return or Adjustment”) shall be considered a breeder. All partial interest bulls are guaranteed to produce freezable quality semen. This is not a life insurance policy. Seller will not replace a dead animal if it is killed or dies for any reason. We would suggest that normal care still needs to be exercised toward these animals and that yearling bulls should be fed so they can continue to develop properly.
OPTIONS AND PRIVILEGES OF RETURN OR ADJUSTMENT
All claims for adjustment or refund must be made in writing within six months of the sale date. In the event an animal is claimed to be a non-breeder, the animal may be returned to owner’s ranch, if in good condition and complying with the health requirements of their state. The seller shall be entitled to a six month trial following the return of the animal in which to prove that the animal is a breeder. If at the end of six months the seller is unable to prove the animal is a breeder, the seller shall at the option of the buyer replace the animal with another of equal value or issue a credit for the initial selling price. If the seller proves the animal to be a breeder, it shall be the obligation of the purchaser to take delivery of the animal and pay all expenses incurred for transportation. If an animal is sold and at a later date proves not to be eligible for registration under association rules, the seller shall be obligated to make a satisfactory adjustment on the purchase price to the buyer, refund the purchase price or issue a credit for the initial selling price upon the return of the animal to the farm of the seller. If an animal is sold and through DNA is proven to have incorrect parentage as represented by the certificate of registration, and for which the parentage can be determined, the seller shall be obligated to make a satisfactory adjustment on the purchase price to the buyer, refund the purchase price or issue a credit for the initial selling price upon the return of the animal to the farm of the seller.
RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS
The above terms and conditions of sale shall constitute a contract between the buyer and seller of each animal and shall be equally binding on both. Other than the guarantees and warranties stated above, no other warranties or guarantees are expressed or implied. Each sale or resale of an animal constitutes a separate transaction. Neither bull owners nor any other person connected with the management of the sale, assumes any liability, legal or otherwise.
Fenco Farms
BIF COMMERCIAL PRODUCER OF THE YEAR
The Beef Improvement Federation (BIF) presented Fenco Farms the BIF Commercial Producer of the Year Award June 11 during the group’s annual research symposium in Knoxville, Tennessee. This national award is presented annually to a producer to recognize their dedication to improving the beef industry at the commercial level.
Fenco Farms, Floral City, Florida, has a longstanding involvement in Florida agriculture, initially in the citrus industry before expanding into the strawberry business, while maintaining a cattle herd. When the citrus market faced challenges, they utilized the opportunity to expand their cattle operation. By revitalizing citrus land in pastureland, they have expanded their cow herd and now operate across multiple properties in central Florida and South Georgia.
For more than 30 years, Fenco Farms has been at the forefront of technology in production agriculture. Their herd, which includes 2,000-plus head of commercial Brangus cattle, 100 head of club calf cows and 300 registered Brangus cows, benefits from the advancements they have made.
They track all animals individually and DNA testing. All feeder cattle are retained through the production chain to harvest, where they collect and analyze data at each step. Their comprehensive data-drive approach has allowed them to make informed management decision within their herd.
“If BIF was a teacher, Fenco Farms would be one of your most accomplished students,” said International Brangus Breeders Association Executive Vice President Darrell Wilkes. “In a large-scale commercial operation, they rigorously apply the principles of genetic improvement and truly view genetics as a vital technology that is key to their success and long-term sustainability. Hand in glove with their application of genetic principles, they illustrate how detailed individual animal performance data can be gathered and used in a commercial setting.”
Fenco Farms has been able to supply seedstock for cattle producers across the U.S. because of their ability to adapt, their proficiency in long-term planning and their visionary mindset.
The goal of Fenco Farms is to operate a progressive, data-driven cattle operation and produce high-quality beef products while contributing to the advancement of the beef industry through continuous improvement and new technology. Fenco Farms was nominated by the International Brangus Breeders Association.

Animal Safety Warnings and Precautions:
Use of levamisole in cattle treated in the last few days with cholinesterase inhibitors such as organophosphates or with morantel may enhance the toxic effects of levamisole. Use together with caution.
Destruction of Hypoderma larvae (cattle grubs) at the period when these grubs are in vital areas may cause undesirable host-parasite reactions including the possibility of fatalities. Killing H. lineatum when it is in the tissue surrounding the gullet may cause bloat; killing H. bovis when it is in the vertebral canal may cause staggering or paralysis. These reactions are not specific to treatment with VALCOR™ and can occur with any successful treatment of grubs. Cattle should be treated either before or after these stages of grub development. Consult your veterinarian concerning the proper time for treatment. Follow recommended dosage carefully. Reproductive safety has not been evaluated in bulls intended for breeding.
ADVERSE REACTIONS:
This product is likely to cause swelling at the injection site. Tissue damage at the injection site may also occur, including possible granulomas and necrosis. These reactions have resolved without treatment. Local tissue reaction may result in trim loss of edible tissue at slaughter. A single death attributed to clostridial infection associated with the injection of VALCOR™ was reported in a nonpivotal effectiveness study. Observe cattle for injection site reactions. If injection site reactions are suspected, consult your veterinarian. This product is not for intravenous or intramuscular use. Hypersalivation may be observed; however, this reaction will disappear within a few hours. If this condition persists, a veterinarian should be consulted.

TARGET ANIMAL SAFETY:
Margin of Safety: Subcutaneous administration of VALCOR™ was well tolerated in calves as young as 3 months of age at 1, 2, or 3 times the recommended dose. Dose-dependent post-dose hypersalivation was seen in all treated groups compared to the controls. All cases of hypersalivation were mild, transient, and resolved without further medical intervention. Dose-related injection site reactions were observed, and those in the 1X group resolved between 21 and 28 days post injection. Injection site reactions were primarily swelling which resolved between 21 and 28 days post injection. Findings from the injection sites included swelling, edema, inflammation, muscle necrosis and fibrosis.
Female Reproductive Safety: The reproductive safety of VALCOR™ was established in two studies with female cattle. First, a single dose of VALCOR™ was administered subcutaneously at 3 times the recommended dose at times coinciding with folliculogenesis, implantation, or organogenesis, and had no effects on conception, calving, abortion, and stillbirth rates, and post-natal viability up to 30±2 days post-calving. There were no congenital abnormalities. The only test article-related change was an increase in incidence and duration of swelling at injection sites compared with control, but all swellings eventually resolved. In a second study, a single dose of VALCOR™ administered subcutaneously at 3 times the recommended dose at either early or late gestation had no effects on calving, abortion, and stillbirth rates, and post-natal viability up to 30±2 days post-calving. One control calf and two treated calves were born with congenital abnormalities and did not survive. These were not determined to be test article-related. The only test article-related change was an increase in incidence and duration of swelling at injection sites, but all swellings eventually resolved. Not for use in bulls intended for breeding over 1 year of age, as reproductive safety has not been evaluated.
