A75TH ANNIVERSARY BRANGUS BENEFIT HUNT
In honor of the IBBA 75th Anniversary Celebration Quail Valley Farm is please to donate a 3-day, 3-night hunt for 2 people meals and amenities included at the historic 5,000-acre Enon Plantation outside of Union Spring AL.
Intense wildlife management and prescribed burning have created what many consider to be the very best quail, deer, turkey hunting in all of Alabama. The whitetail deer and turkey population at Enon is exceptional. The landscape is diverse with breathtaking rolling hills of broom sage beneath mature pine forest, 450+/- acres of meandering ag fields, and mature hardwood bottoms. There are 3 quail courses varying in size, 60 ac, 100 ac, and 280 acres and a large dove field. Very low hunting pressure has kept the game moving during daylight hours and it’s not uncommon to see 20-40 deer in one afternoon.
You will have your choice of the fall hunting season for quail and deer or the spring season for Turkey and fishing is available in both seasons as the water resources at Enon are incredible with a beautiful 50+/- acre trophy bass lake, where it’s not uncommon to catch 7-10 lb pound bass. Across the property is another 8-acre lake with excellent fishing including massive 2 lb crappie. Over 3.5 miles of Cox Creek flows through the property.

COWN A
Champion
This is your opportunity to propel your breeding program and ranch to the top of the breed. Once one of the most successful cattle breeders was heard saying, “If I didn’t raise the Champion, I would buy it.” This breeder never had any problem staying at the top of the breed or selling his animals for much more than the other breeders. You cannot only use the genetics to put your program at the top, but as a new owner of a champion you can use it to help you market your ranch and breeding program.

It is an honor to be asked to donate the 2024 foundation female and we wanted to bring something that blends together both the phenotype and performance parts of our program. This female from the 20 cow family which originated from a Mound Creek purchase Mike Doguet made several years ago, was then molded through the mating expertise of Timmy Lucherk during his 20 plus years with the Diamond D program culminated in the creation of 20G4 a Wall Street daughter and the dam of this years foundation heifer. Her sire, the feed efficiency king known at Profit who roams the pastures of Old Colita Ranch is a sire known worldwide for his incredible phenotype. Give generously, whoever is fortunate enough to take this female home will be end up with a truly versatile cow prospect!

Picture perfect Brangus female is this young Big Lake donor who caused quite a stir when she and her sister sold at the 2021 Quail Valley Sale for $20,000 each for ½ embryo interest to Fenco Farms and The Oaks Farm. 23H3 and her sister were the very first progeny by the sensational carcass king of the Brangus breed, BWCC Big Lake 111F4 and out of the legendary donor, SVF MS Patton 23Y66 who made history first at Salacoa Valley and then for Quail Valley and Phillips Ranch. Cross F Cattle bought the 23Y66 flush in the 2019 Genetic Edge Sale from Quail Valley and we asked our good friend Tracy Holbert if he had a CrossFit son that he would recommend and he said that he just collected a bull out of the 111 cow family that he was excited about and 23Y66 was ready to IVF so that is how we were able to produce some of the first Big Lake progeny born. In addition to the 2 famous sisters, their brother, CFC Buchanan 23H2 became Champion Brangus and $20,000 high seller at the San Antonio All Breeds Bull Sale selling to Wiley Ranch in 2022. CFC Miss Big Lake 23H3 will calve right around sale time and will be ready to work soon. She averages 7.4 embryos per IVF procedure and the proof in the pudding is in her fantastic Papillon daughter that sells as the next lot. The future is all ahead of this 4 year old donor who has a world of potential for the new owner.

A very special individual selling here as a daughter of the beautiful Big Lake donor, 23H3 and by the much-heralded BWCC Papillon bull owned by Tuna Rosa and ACE. Papillon has sired high sellers since his progeny hit the market and there are more exciting breeding pieces to sell, including this stunning open yearling heifer. This heifer has a world of depth and style as she should consider her parentage. Not only is she phenotypically stunning, she carries a genomic package that is hard to replicate. 23L2 has 11 traits in the Top 20% or better including growth, carcass and fertility. She is Top 2% IMF and Terminal Index AND Top 20% or better for the important traits of Fertility, NC and BB. If you want your program to emphasize both phenotype and genotype, 23L2 is the heifer to add to your breeding program.

Unique opportunity to tap into a proven donor with a world of future and mating potential in her coming from Chimney Rock in 2024. A cow steeped in EPD presence, a pedigree full of real-world fertility,
proven revenue generating ability and a phenotype that fits a wide number of bulls and programs in the breed, 416E2 has a past full of success and a future with no ceiling. Analyzing the data, you see a female that wraps up a great balance of birthweight in the top 25% to run along side a WW in the top 15%, YW in top 10% AND Milk in the top 35%, certainly a combo that is fleeting in many of today’s pedigrees. Her carcass numbers lead the chart with her IMF in the top 3% and REA in the top 5%, notching her a terminal index in the top 2%. While her terminal value is important, it is not to be overlooked by the traits that pay the bills in a cowherd, fertility and function, with her Fertility Index in the top 10%, Stayability in the top 10% and Heifer Pregnancy in the top 20%. Not just a fertility number on a piece of paper, 416E2 had a 370-day calving interval on her first 3 before entering the donor pen and her dam, 416C3, records 8 head on a 367-day calving interval, including moving environments in 2022 from Eureka, KS to Concord, AR in the Suhn dispersal. The Brangus breed was built on the back of cow fertility and functionality, and this is not lost in this female, stacked into her pedigree for generations.416E2 is a cow who earned her way into the donor pen the good ol’ fashioned way - after her first 3 calves. Her first calf was Suhn’s Surge, 416G11, who was selected by Danny Farris at $10,000 out of the 2020 Suhn sale and went on to be a highly successful AI sire, used across several programs throughout the breed. With a great number of calves hitting the ground in the last year or so, her revenue story is just starting to take stride, but the world got a glimpse of it last fall at Chimney Rock grossing $56,500 on 5 head including a Business Line daughter, 416K20, being selected by Fenco Farms at $15,000 and a Trail Boss son, 416K36, being selected by Lake Majestik at $15,000. Maybe as impressive as her $11,000 progeny average was the fact that none of the 5 brought under $8250, which is compliment to her consistency, and what a real donor should exhibit. Chimney Rock is offering a first ever opportunity in Houston to select not 1 option but 2 within the single purchase price of this lot. The buyer gets to choose 2 of the 5 options to take home and further their program with a cow and cow family that is built around and based on the great maternal heritage this breed offers WITHOUT sacrificing any calving ease, growth or carcass merit. Regardless of the program’s focus or pedigree battery, this female can complement any breeding program in the country. She can cross on nearly any pedigree, balance out the numbers, stand a world of sheath stacked against her, and has the potential for several herd sires in her, including the Triple Crown bull calf currently at her side. Lots of bang for your buck here, return on investment abounds in a hurry, don’t miss it!

COX EXCALIBUR
CHOICE LOT
The 59 Cow family has without a doubt proven in Sales and Private treaty sales to be the most sought-after Red Brangus Cow families. For the first time Cox Excalibur is offering 2 of our Super Elite Donors that are in their prime as this choice lot. When you see what the progeny out of these donors has sold for it proves their outstanding progeny out of these two donors can put
the buyer of this lot at the top of Red Brangus and give the buyer a foundation to have their animals in demand for many years. When you look at the progeny selling out of these 2 donors, I am pretty sure they set a record last year. In the Red Alliance Sale 2023 at Villa Ranch, these 2 donors had 9 lots in the sale and those 9 lots sold for $175,000., to average $19,444. If you’re looking to put your program at the top, buy this lot and enjoy the foundation and profitability it will add to you herd.

In the Red Alliance Sale at Villa Ranch in 2023, 59/E1 had 7 progenies sell that sold for $128,000. To average $18,285, and in private treaty sales, CX has sold 2 bulls to average $12,500 each. 4B - CX MS DREAM FOREVER 59/F1
Reg
It’s hard to be in Red Brangus and not see the effect the 59 cow family has had for many years. For Cox Excalibur the 59 cow family has put us on the map in many countries and for sure been one of the most profitable at CX for over 35 years. I have had some really successful breeders ask me if you had to choose, which one of this choice lot you would pick. HONESTLY, it’s a flip of the coin for me. 59F1 sales have been outstanding also, with her progeny selling at the top of any sale they have been in. Last year at the Red Alliance Sale at Villa Ranch, she had 2 of the highest selling lots to sell from Tajo Ranch, Tajo Ms Natalia 59K sold for $25,000., and Tajo Ms Liliana 59K4 sold for $22,000. Her 2 heifers averaged $23,500. 59F1 and her progeny have won several Grand Championships, but her best is what she produces when aspirated and her natural calves. The investment you make in one of these 59 cows will more than pay off what you pay, and for sure some of the keepers out of them will help you build one of the strongest foundation cow families in your herd. Selling 100% Possession, 50% Embryo interest, and Cox Excalibur retains right to one aspiration. Your partner on 59F1 Juan Romo, at Tajo Ranch.

Kruger 175K4 has had a commanding presence since his first days. He is as thick, and square topped with an explosive hip and quarter as any sire we have raised. Breeders will appreciate his huge foot, substantial bone, depth of body and sweeping capacity. Kruger brings this all together in the distinctive quality and style of the 175 family. Speaking of the 175 family, his dam is TRIO’s ER Zamy 175Z2, the 2014 IBBA National Grand Champion and Supreme American Female of the Houston Junior Livestock Show. She is the dam of Francisco 175Z2, the 2020 IBBA Reserve National Grand Champion, who sold to Rancho La Miura for $37,500 in the Genetic Edge. Study another generation back and one finds the incomparable Wildfire 175W and Statesman 100S. Of course, it takes two great parents. Kruger is sired by our outcross sire MCR Turbo 600/9 that is the bringing the power and performance we expected him to.
Following in his championship legacy, Kruger is the current Grand Champion of the Cattlemen’s Congress and National Show of Merit. He also notched Reserve Grand Champion titles at the Brangus Futurity and New Mexico State Fair.

As many of you know we invested heavily into the BWCC Ms Rugby 313F last year here at Genetic Edge, however there is always more to the story. Previous to purchasing this heifers dam we had bought a flush on 313F and mated her to BWCC Center Section 7F7. Prior to Houston last year the resulting calve from that flush were hitting the ground and this heifer was just under a month old. We took one last look at our ET calves before we got on the road to Houston and after seeing this flush and specially this heifer we were convinced we had to acquire 313F. On paper she ranks among the breed leaders for growth traits, she post a double digit milk EPD and has a pre scan IMF EPD in the top 15%. In person this heifer combines maternal power, flexibility and genuine power from every angle. She has a handful of flushmate brother that have already been sorted off as sale features in our upcoming production sale this fall, they are rugged built with masculinity and have the look to true herd sire prospects.

Long time Brangus breeders but first time Genetic Edge consignors, Gary and Isaiah at Sewell Cattle Co dug deep into the heart of their Spring yearling replacement heifer herd to offer a female that would represent the depth of quality and consistency that they are building in their Brangus program. In the past few years Sewell Cattle Co has assembled a donor herd that would rival any progressive Brangus and Ultrablack breeder in the nation and Sewell’s MS Dynamic 99L10 is a sample of the goals that they have been working toward.
One of the stoutest made, biggest bodied Dynamic daughters that has ever been produced, she is impressive from every angle. When you get her out and watch her travel, she really strides with a look of soundness and functionality that we as cattleman can recognize and appreciate. Moderate calving ease and big time growth and carcass projections will make her easy to mate at breeding time, and her top 5% Heifer Pregnancy ranking and top 25% Stayability projection lend confidence in our minds that she’ll have the fertility and longevity that we require in our Brangus and Ultrablack females. The donor dam that she stems from is one that has a tremendous future in the breed. Sired by the Chill Factor bull, she is one of the best producing daughters of the highly proven 99E4 cow that now resides at 2C Brangus and we’re confident that you’ll see a lot more from her in the near future.
The work is all done for you in producing this outstanding donor prospect. Now all you have to do is take her home and start building your own future.

FLUSH OPPORTUNITY – PICK ANY 5 FEMALES FROM THE ENTIRE HERD 23
Draggin’ M Ranch is offering the chance for the highest bidder to come into their herd and pick any five Brangus or Ultrablack females to flush to the sires of their choosing. We’re talking about the chance to obtain genetics from some of the most proven cows in the breed, as well as daughters and full siblings to some of the most influential donors and herd sires. Proven donors like: MS BRINKS BRIGHT SIDE 415R23, MS DMR CORONADO 415A7, MS DMR CORONADO 535A8, SUHN’S MISS PATTON 30X6, MS DMR PATTON 468X6, MS DMR JETHRO 795Y2, SF MISS THREE D 166C7, BASIN LUCY 0060, and plenty of other breed changing females have left daughters in the Draggin’ M herd that will be at your disposal. Flush-mate sisters to many of the up-and-coming sires of the day such as Admiral, Steadfast, Visionary, Jackpot, and Revenue as well as a full sister to the $60,000 “60K” female that we sold last fall. And, to go along with that star studded group of donor prospects, many of their mother’s will be available to flush as well. All of the hard work has already been done for you. The fun part will be choosing your donors to flush, mating them to the bulls of your choice, and then watching their progeny move your program to a level that would have taken many years otherwise. Opportunities like this one don’t come along very often. Don’t miss it.
Buyer has the option to flush a total of five females that are solely owned by Draggin’ M Ranch. Buyer will not be limited only to cows that have been previously flushed, but will have full access to the entire Draggin’ M cow herd. All flushing will be done IVF at TransOva near Bryan, TX or by Vytelle here at the ranch in El Dorado and all aspiration, freezing, and shipping costs will be at the buyer’s expense. Draggin’ M will guarantee a total of 50 transferrable embryos with any results above the guaranteed amount to be owned by the buyer at no additional cost. In the event that the minimum embryo guarantee is not reached on the first round, the buyer will choose one of the previous 5 donors to flush again until the guaranteed amount is met. Choices must be made and aspirations must take place before July 1, 2024 unless a chosen donor is currently pregnant for a fall calf and in that event, she will be aspirated at the earliest convenience of the Draggin’ M staff after calving.
Flush mate sisters of all of these bulls are available:
DMR ADMIRAL 535K13, DMR VISIONARY 468K65, DMR JACKPOT 60K24, DMR REVENUE 10K8
Flush mate sister available: MS DMR EMPIRE 60K that sold for $60,000 in the CDP sale this past fall.
Daughters of MS DMR THREE D 415E18 and MS DMR THREE D 99E4
Buyer will have the option to flush any 5 cows owned by Draggin’ M Ranch. Guaranteeing a total of 50 embryos with no limit on the top side and no pro-rating of the embryos over the guaranteed 50.

SB MS CROSSCUT 313J5
SB MS Crosscut 313J5 is a female we selected from the Scamardo program in his Fall 2021 production sale. Her ability to compete in the showring was easy to recognize very early on but we invested heavily into this female due to her pedigree and long term production potential. Her sire, MSC Crosscut 329E10 was the $41,000 selection from the 2018 Mid South Production sale now roams the pasture in Florida at Baxley Family Farms. Her dam, one of the high selling females in the 2023 Genetic Edge sale commanded $39,000 through the ring. We see tons of mating options with this female; she is flawless in her structure, offers 10 traits in the top 15% and is ready to flush immediately following the sale. MC Sho Time 313H30 is truly one of the “great looking” bulls in the Brangus breed history. For the ones that saw him at Mounds Creek’s 2022 Bull Sale and when Mound Creek decided him to be their “choice to keep” many praised his superior structure and all over confirmation from foot to nose. Offering this flush really solidifies the fact that we have a true international event here at the 2024 Genetic Edge Sale. The Alexander family approached us about the idea of offering a flush on the female and we could no pass on this opportunity. Few years back the Jackson family offered this female in an exclusive bid off and she attracted interest from across the globe. If there was a female we could have one site for this year it would be this one. She is massive from every angle while still refined in her features and correct at the ground. This extra fertile outcross female has an EPD profile that ranks in the top 35% for BW and top 15% for WW, YW, TM & CEM without giving up any ground on carcass traits.

CB MS ICON 63F EMBRYO CHOICE PACKAGES
Wow!! What an opportunity, here is the chance to get in on some cutting edge genetics from the T3 and Stover Ranch herd. 63F was the $16,000 selection from Cavender Ranches and her heifer calf at side 63K26 went for a whopping $37,000 to ACE Cattle Company. Also, 63J9 sold this past June for $20,000 to BK Beef LLC. The 63F doesn’t just make incredible females but you will see some herd sires selling in the 2024 T3 Brangus sale this fall. Her current progeny are averaging $15,000 when brought to auction so if you think about it here is an opportunity to buy yourself rich. 63F writes an amazing 15 traits at or above breed avg with WW, YW, REA and HPG leading the way. We are offering choice of 2 different sires and it will be very difficult to choose. We were able to buy some of the rare SHO TIME semen and we thought it was a no brainer to match her up to him. As well as the up and coming Main Street bull that you will hear a lot about in the DMR and Herndon Farms herd. This choice could be a tricky one but we believe you cant go wrong with either one that you choose. A lot of opportunity here don’t miss out on these embryos.
