Welcome and thank you for the interest! Like so many others in this business, this program got started with a show cow! I was fortunate to have that opportunity (Thank you Mom and Dad!), and it was all it took for me to realize what I wanted to do with my life. I’ve been fortunate to get to know and work with some of the best and most talented people, and these relationships that have been built the last 15 plus years is where I place value and give all the credit!

RCC has got along way to go to achieve some of the goals in place but I’m grateful and proud of what’s been accomplished thus far! Since its been several years since I’ve hauled any open cattle of my own, I thought I’d reference some of the more recent highlights for RCC genetics. MATERNAL SISTER RAVEN

This heifer has the right combination of presence, genuine shape and balance from the side to be a competitive show heifer on any level. Her feminine look is complimented with extra pin width and muscle expres sion! To be this green and have this much shape and roundness of rib, is why I would be excited to feed this one! The icing on the cake is how sweet natured she is!! Gentle, green and very good! Those are the fun kind to feed and haul and I believe this one will begreat for any age ex hibitor. Study her pedigree it will come at no surprise why she’s got the goods. She’s Sired by DDD UNORDINARY 38F8, a bull gaining quick mo mentum at MP BRANGUS and Lucherk Cattle. The 1019 cow family needs no introduction and this heifer’s mother has done a heck of a job here at RCC.

Big time donor potential here!!! I don’t need to write an essay on this one. She is just a flat good one. If you like them sound, smooth, and powerful then she will excite you because she brings all that to the table with added presence and style. Love this ones looseness of spine and joint work. Big feet, right shape to her bone and when you get up on her she overwhelms you with genuine dimension throughout. Oh and she’s gonna be real hairy! The 1252 genetic line here at RCC begins with a show heifer purchased from the Johnston family back in 2005. (JCC MADDIE 1252S2). SG Shanel 1252M would be her mother and one of the best females I’ve ever seen. Other Shanel daughters like DDD Rhonda 1252A6 have been extremely impactful across the breed! Maddie was the one I was fortunate enough to build around. She is still alive today and looks great!!

The most notable wins being Grand Champion Cow/Calf Pair at the Futurity in 2008, Res. Champion Cow/Calf Pair NJBS 2009 and Res. Champion Cow/Calf Pair Futurity 2009. In 2012-2013 we were fortunate enough to be apart of our first Show Animal of the Year with RCC Patriot 1252Y.

That same year, the IBBA started the Show Dam of the Year, and Maddie claimed that title! On that same string was Stella’s mother Raven and she followed in her mother footsteps winning calf division at the Futurity and then coming back to win Grand Champion Cow/Calf Pair at Futurity in 2014.

She’s a registered Brangus Built making her eligible for any IBBA sanctioned percentage Brangus show. Her mother is a Red Rocky x Solid Gold that is flat incredible. Purchased from the Lucherk family with the vision to raise some American steers and arb heifers and I couldn’t be happier with her first calf! This heifer’s sire is a real good Brangus bull raised here and he’d be an Outcross out of Hercules’s mother. Like many in this offering, I hate to part with her and may be the last time a daugh ter from this cow is sold.

Bull ready to go to work! Like this ones look and high neck attach ment. I like how much bone he has relative to his body type and kind. His mom is a Tex Playbook daughter out of the famed DDD Kelsey 804W2 cow that came from the MP BRANGUS program and she’s already done big things for a young cow here at RCC. She is loose structured, perfect uddered and just like Kelsey, she has the big ears, big legs and balance from the side! This halter broke bull was stamped with the same foot size and structure of his mother and his gentle disposition makes him easy to have around.
