Welcome to our 2nd Annual Spring Online Sale. We are doing things a little different this year with our Spring Sale. We are doing a live online sale with a live auctioneer. The sale will be hosted by CCI.live and will get under way at 7 p.m. central time on April 22nd. The numbers of this offering are small but the quality sure is deep. I’m very proud of the set we’ve assembled for this sale. We held nothing back and feel any of the heifers can go anywhere in the country and make a great addition to your herd. Whether you are looking for that elite show heifer to hit the tan bark with or the replacement female to go put into production we have one for you in this set. The open heifers are as good as it gets the quality is deep all the way thru. The bred heifers came straight from the heart of the replacement pen. Expressed as dollars per cow exposure, HB is calculated based on the scenario that bulls are mated to heifers and cows, replacement heifers are retained, and all remaining progeny are marketed on a quality-based carcass grid. (Index/High Value) GM GridMaster is a terminally focused selection index that predicts the probability to increase the value of marketed calves. GM places selection pressure on growth, feedyard performance and carcass quality, predicting differences in profit as expressed per cow exposure.
