Containing two portfolios done in first and second year of BA (Hons) fashion designing and textile.
As in the first, includes the process in research and development of a theme (hippies subculture), gather research to inspire the formal elements of design (silhouette, proportion, texture, details, colors, and patterns) in order to design a women's and men's wear autumn/ winter collection 2021 with four looks each.
The second, we were required to design a garment collection for A/W 2021 incorporating the chosen theme (Gender Equality- one of the sustainable development goals as detailed by the UN from the 2030 Agenda) with a chosen craft (batik) to bring awareness about the issues to the society and come up with solutions. Taking the above goal further by research and choosing the sub category ‘Women rights’ with the relation with nature throughout the project to design a garment collection of four looks for A/W 2021.
