This is a second year fashion designing and textile portfolio which had the main aim of exploring the relationship between theory and developments of advanced research, visualization skills, and motivated by aesthetic concerns and procedures gained through an industry focused portfolio. While working on the project, key themes such as responsible design principles, identity, and the impact of the pandemic were influenced.
In this portfolio journey, the concept of 'MODERN DAY TOMEO GOZEN' was created and developed further by incorporating subjects such as 'Samurai Japanese culture (army)', 'gender equality with vintage power dressing silhouettes', and sustainability with zero waste fabric manipulations' in order to create a womenswear luxury collection (autumn/winter 2021) for independent, strong, courageous women who overcomes challenges by fighting like a warrior in the contemporary world.
