Downed But Not Forgotten

Stan Stokes. On March 10, 1966, flying over the A Shau Valley area in Vietnam, Col. Dafford Myers sustained heavy damage in his A-1E Skyraider and had to make an emergency landing. Failing to jettison his 300-gallon drop tank, however, Myers’ aircraft burst into flames upon landing. Fellow USAF pilot Col. Bernard Fisher risked his own life by landing, sustaining 19 bullet holes, and rescuing Col. Myers. Fisher became the first Air Force officer to receive the Medal of Honor for service in Southeast Asia. This 16"x11½" print pays tribute to that fateful day. Signature Edition – Save $20! Books, Models, Unopened Kits and Apparel: If not completely satisfied, you may return items within 30 days of receipt for replacement, exchange, credit or refund. Items must be returned in the condition received and in the original packaging. Prints: Damaged prints will be replaced at no charge. Due to the delicate nature of fine art prints, we cannot accept returns. DVDs and Software: Defective merchandise will be replaced with another of the same title. Once the tamper-proof seal on the box has been broken, the item is no longer returnable.
