Dear Fellow Railfan,
Among the rail industry’s most recognizable paint schemes, the “Warbonnet” color palette – intended to mimic Native-American ceremonial headdresses – first adorned Santa Fe locomotives in the late 1930s. It remained a signature of the company’s engines through the 1970s when it was replaced by its lesspopular successor: the “Yellowbonnet.” Our featured collectibles below pay homage to the Santa Fe, including an eye-catching cover print, a pair of books, and a sale-priced 5-DVD set.
