The Unsung Concept of Beauty underlying the term ‘Environmental Sustainability’ In my opinion, design could reflect the concept of beauty. I always tend to make something that has a notion of beauty. However, now that the world has been rapidly evolving, anything can be considered as a top notch design as long as it shows a special meaning, even if it seems meaningless to many. Thus, I think I have to become more open minded now, that is, I could follow that savage rule. Another thing that concerns me is the environmental issues. It seems to me that these issues, which were only being discussed in the first place, or even neglected at times, has begun to be one of the main problem in the world of design. It is true that to solve this problem, designers have to focus more towards environmental issues rather than just beautiful design or ugly design. However, my heart is not 100% convinced about the idea. This does not suit my aim as I have a different way of solving it. I believe that both environmental sustainability and beauty can work together. I believe I could show people that the notion of beauty does not have to fade nor diminished when taking environmental issues into consideration.
