第五十一屆香港藝術節隆重舉行,可 喜可賀。
逾半個世紀以來,藝術節每年均呈獻 多姿多彩的文藝節目,由古典音樂、 歌劇、戲劇,以至舞蹈、多媒體項 目等,包羅萬有,令觀眾大飽眼福。
今屆藝術節以《收音機與茱麗葉》及 《春之祭》芭蕾舞表演揭開序幕,兩 齣經典作品經由著名編舞家愛德華· 克魯格重新編排,加上斯洛文尼亞 國家歌劇院馬里博爾芭蕾舞團傾力演 出,萬眾矚目;約五星期後,歐洲頂 尖交響樂團—德國班貝格交響樂團將 登台獻技,為今年藝術節畫上圓滿句 號。其間上演的焦點節目還有: 國 際星級女高音安娜·涅翠柯與丈夫男 高音尤西夫·伊瓦佐夫聯袂表演的音 樂會;由藝術家威廉·肯特里奇精心 製作、南非木偶劇團和比利時里切卡 爾古樂團奇妙演繹的蒙特威爾第歌劇 《尤利西斯歸鄉記》;由芭蕾天后娜塔 麗亞·奧斯波娃領銜主演的芭蕾巨 星之《「世」不可擋》及傳奇舞姬之 《趾尖》;以及國際鋼琴大賽冠軍劉曉 禹的演奏會。
藝術節向來十分重視本地演藝人才, 致力讓他們一展才華。今屆藝術節亦 會上演多個粵劇節目,包括《竹林愛 傳奇》、「毛俊輝.粵劇情」、《畫皮》 (精新版),以及「短篇粵劇—戲說 八德」; 並帶來其他本地作品,包括 《飯戲攻心》踏台版、《末戀.無愛合 約》、舞蹈歌劇《兩生花》等等,定 必精彩萬分,不容錯過。
大眾還可通過藝術節,體驗繽紛的藝 術魅力。法國食蟻獸沉浸式藝術工作 室創作的《第一步》,會邀請觀眾互 動共舞;在大館舉行的一系列免費藝 術科技節目,以及「無限亮」計劃, 亦會讓公眾參與其中。「無限亮」計 劃由本地和海外不同能力的藝術家擔 綱演出,鼓勵青少年衝破界限,探索

I would like to congratulate the Hong Kong Arts Festival on the organisation of its 51st edition.
For more than half a century now, the Arts Festival has enthralled audiences with a superb annual programme of arts and culture performances embracing classical music and opera, theatre, dance, multimedia and a great deal more.
This year’s Arts Festival programme opens with the Slovene National Theatre Maribor’s ballet performances of Radio and Juliet and Le Sacre du Printemps, two classics re-imagined by celebrated choreographer Edward Clug. It closes, nearly five weeks later, with a concert by Germany’s Bamberg Symphony, one of Europe’s greatest orchestras. Other highlights include Anna Netrebko, one of the world’s great sopranos, performing with her husband, tenor Yusif Eyvazov; artist William Kentridge’s remarkable production of Monteverdi’s opera, Il Ritorno d’Ulisse, brought to life by South Africa’s Handspring Puppet Company and Belgium’s Ricercar Consort periodinstrument ensemble; Ballet Superstars’ Force of Nature and Legendary Ballerina

in Two Feet featuring supreme ballerina Natalia Osipova; and concerts by the international award-winning piano virtuoso Bruce Liu.
As always, the Festival shines a spotlight on standout artists from Hong Kong. This year’s Cantonese opera offerings include Love in the Bamboo Grove, Cantonese Opera Classics Circa 2023, The Painted Skin (Refined Edition) and Virtues and Morality—Four Cantonese Operas. Local productions including Table For Six on Stage, Loveless Romance and Love Streams are sure to be among this year’s Festival highlights.
Several programmes invite public participation as well, including the First Steps participatory dance performances staged by France’s Tamanoir Immersive Studio, as well as Tai Kwun’s free series of arts tech productions and the Festival’s No Limits programme, led by local and international artists of varying abilities. No Limits’ offerings emphasise youth exploration, as does the Young Friends of the Hong Kong Arts Festival with its school tours, preperformance workshops and special programming. And then there is the Festival PLUS creative activities that bring artists and audiences together in communities throughout Hong Kong.

I am delighted to welcome you to the 51st edition of the Hong Kong Arts Festival. As the city recovers from the disruption of the pandemic, the Festival is returning with an array of live performances featuring top-notch artists from Hong Kong and across the world. Despite the boundless possibilities offered by the internet, attending performances in person remains an irreplaceable experience. It gives me great pleasure to share this collective experience with you today.
The Festival is made possible by the generosity of our supporters.
I wish to thank the HKSAR Government, via the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, for the annual subvention which underpins our long-standing work. Our theme this year, “Coming Back, Moving Forward”, represents our determination to come back in full force after several years of uncertainties caused by the pandemic. After five decades of hard work and dedication, the Festival has established itself as a premier arts event in the region and an important international arts festival. We are honoured to carry this legacy forward, while advancing our multifaceted work to stay relevant in the present. In the 51st edition, we discover creative voices through new renditions of masterpieces, cross-disciplinary collaborations and commissioned productions— all of which showcase the breadth and endless possibilities of the performing arts, taking us one step
forward in this journey of exploration. Beyond exceptional performances, we are also offering a series of auxiliary PLUS programmes to enhance audience engagement and provide deeper insights into our programmes. Our strong commitment to arts education is seen in the extensive outreach activities aimed at inspiring the younger generation of Hong Kong through promoting quality arts.

香港藝術節於 1973 年正式揭幕,是國際藝壇中重要的文化 盛事,於每年 2、 3 月期間呈獻眾多優秀本地及國際藝術家 的演出,以及舉辦多元化的「加料」和教育活動,致力豐 富香港的文化生活。
香港藝術節 是一所非牟利機構,2022/ 23 財政年度預計收
入(包括第 51 屆香港藝術節及 2023 年「無限亮」)約港 幣一億五千萬,當中香港特區政府的年度撥款佔總收入約 18%,另外約 24%需來自票房收入,約 43%則需依賴來自 各大企業、熱心人士和慈善基金會的贊助和捐款。預計餘 下的約 15%則來自其他收入,包括政府針對捐款和贊助收 入而提供的配對資助。

The HKAF, launched in 1973, is a major international arts festival committed to enriching the cultural life of the city by presenting leading local and international artists in all genres of the performing arts as well as a diverse range of “PLUS” and educational events in February and March each year.
The HKAF is a non-profit organisation. The total estimated income for FY2022/23 (including the 51st Hong Kong Arts Festival and 2023 “No Limits”) is approximately HK$150 million. Current Government annual funding accounts for around 18% of the Festival's total income. Around 24% of the Festival’s income needs to come from the box office, and around 43% from sponsorship and donations made by corporations, individuals and charitable foundations. The remaining 15% is expected to come from other revenue sources including the Government’s matching scheme, which matches income generated through private sector sponsorship and donations. The HKAF has presented top international artists and ensembles across multiple genres, such as*:

The HKAF actively collaborates with Hong Kong’s own creative talent and showcases emerging local artists. Over the years, HKAF has commissioned and produced over 250 local productions across genres including Cantonese opera, theatre, chamber opera, music and contemporary dance, many with successful subsequent runs in Hong Kong and overseas. Recent HKAF productions include The Plague, Always by Your Side, Pavilion of a Hundred Flowers, A Floating Family – A Trilogy, Hong Kong Odyssey, Danz Up, Datong – The Chinese Utopia, The Amahs and Murder in San Jose, to name a few.
The HKAF frequently partners with renowned international artists and institutions to produce exceptional works, such as Der Fensterputzer (The Window Washer) co-produced by HKAF, Goethe-Institut Hong Kong and Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina

2019 年正式開展,透過一系列的演出及多元的 教育及社區外展節目,「無限亮」致力創造共融空間,讓不 同能力人士均可以一同欣賞、參與、擁抱藝術。
Bausch, Richard III and The Tempest produced by The Old Vic, BAM and Neal Street under “The Bridge Project” with HKAF as a co-commissioning institution, Green Snake co-commissioned with Shanghai International Arts Festival, and Dream of the Red Chamber co-produced with San Francisco Opera.
The HKAF invests heavily in arts education for young people. Over the past 30 years, our “Young Friends” scheme has reached over 810,000 local secondary and tertiary school students. A variety of arts education projects serving primary, secondary, and tertiary school students have been launched in recent years, featuring activities such as student showcases, pre-performance talks, open rehearsals, opportunities to attend Festival performances, as well as in-school workshops and lecture demonstrations led by international and local artists. Donations to the “Student Ticket Scheme” also make available approximately 10,000 half-price student tickets each year.
The HKAF organises a diverse range of “Festival PLUS” activities in community locations each year to enhance engagement between artists and audiences. These include films, lecture demonstrations, masterclasses, workshops, symposia, backstage visits, exhibitions, meet-the-artist sessions, and guided cultural tours.
The HKAF actively promotes inclusiveness and understanding via the arts to every corner of the community. The “No Limits” project, co-presented with The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, was launched in 2019. Through a series of performances and diverse arts experiences for students and the community, “No Limits” strives to create an inclusive space for people with different abilities to share the joy of the arts together.
The HKAF officially launched the Hong Kong Arts Festival Foundation in 2022 to provide greater financial security and longterm sustainability for the Festival. Donations to the Foundation will help the Festival to present large-scale projects which its annual budget cannot cater for. (2023

The Esmé Quartet made a sensational entrance into the string quartet world by winning the first prize and four of the special prizes (including the Mozart and Beethoven prizes) at the 2018 London Wigmore Hall International String Quartet Competition. Subsequently, it started touring internationally, appearing at festivals and concert halls such as the Lucerne Festival in Switzerland, the Festival Musiq3 in Brussels, Auditori di Barcelona, the Opéra de Lille, the Heidelberg String Quartet Festival, the Haydn String Quartet Festival in Hungary and the Classic Esterházy in Austria. In the summer of 2018, it was named as the quartet in residence at the Festival d’Aixen-Provence and also appeared at the McGill International String Quartet Academy in Montreal.
In 2019, the quartet was named the HSBC Laureate of the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence and won the first prize at the 55th Possehl Musikpreis in Germany. The quartet recorded its debut CD with works by Ludwig van Beethoven, Unsuk Chin and Frank Bridge on the label Alpha Classics. The recording was released in early 2020 and has achieved critical acclaim, with a five-star review from Diapason and named as one of the best classical albums of 2020 by WQXR radio in New York.
The quartet was named was named the first artists-in-
residence at the Lotte Concert Hall, Seoul, Korea, for the season 2020-21, and in October 2020 it was awarded the HansGál Prize by the Academy of Sciences and Literature Mainz and the Villa Musica German Music Foundation. The year 2021 saw return invitations to the Festival Musiq3 and Wigmore Hall, an Italian tour and return engagements in Germany and Portugal. In 2022 the quartet performed on tour for the first time in North America and Japan.
The name of the quartet, Esmé, is borrowed from an old French word meaning “to be loved”. Based in Germany, the quartet was formed in 2016 at the Hochschule für Musik in Cologne, Germany, and is comprised of four Korean musicians who were friends as youngsters and who share a passion for music, the arts and life. The quartet has been mentored in masterclasses by artists such as Günter Pichler (Alban Berg Quartet), Alfred Brendel, Eberhard Feltz, Andras Keller, Christoph Poppen and Jonathan Brown (Cuarteto Casals). Esmé Quartet studied with Heime Müller (Artemis Quartet) at the Hochschule für Musik in Lübeck, Germany.

譜寫作品 33 時,才首次使用 「弦樂四重奏」這個名稱。在這 之前,他偏好使用「嬉遊曲」
( Divertimento )一詞。海頓習 慣一批批創作四重奏,並以一 組六首的方式發表,正如 1781 年發表的這批樂曲。隨着其中

Haydn: String Quartet in E-flat major , Op . 33 , No . 2 , “The Joke”
Joseph Haydn (1732-1809) didn’t even begin using the term “string quartet” until the Op. 33 set from the early 1780s; his preferred label before that was “divertimento”. He tended to write his quartets in batches, publishing them in sets of six, as he did with this group from 1781. Following the first performance of at least some of these works on Christmas, the firm of Artaria published these six quartets in 1782—the year Haydn turned 50—as his Opus 33. Mozart had recently settled in Vienna and became especially fond of these works. The two composers developed a mutually inspiring friendship, which left its mark on the string quartet genre above all.
Haydn dedicated the Op. 33 quartets to Grand Duke Paul, who would later briefly rule as Paul I, Emperor of Russia. They are therefore sometimes referred to as the “Russian” quartets. Haydn described these new works to his patrons as having been “written in a new and special way”. As the music writer Paul Griffiths notes in his history of the string quartet genre, Haydn turned from the “drama, vehemence and weight” of his earlier quartets to a style that emphasised “his greatest musical asset, namely wit”. It was in the Op. 33 quartets overall that Haydn began, for example, to use the word “scherzo” (Italian for “joke”) instead of “minuet” for the dance-influenced second or third movements.

Indeed, the second work of the Op. 33 set, the Quartet in E-flat major, is known by its English nickname “The Joke” as a result of its display of Haydn’s famously inventive wit, which promises to surprise listeners—just when we think we know where the music is going. Another important facet of Haydn’s “wit” is the creativity with which he develops the smallest musical ideas or fragments, as we hear throughout the opening movement. The contrasting trio in the scherzo second movement seems to mock the idea of a more polite and refined way of playing in contrast to the foot-stomping main idea. The tenderly pensive largo divides the strings up into duetting pairs. It is the playful final movement in particular that inspired the nickname “The Joke” because of the fun Haydn has in staging the conclusion—so we’re left wondering when we have really reached “the end”.

Borodin: String Quartet No. 2 in D Major
The Georgian-Russian composer Alexander Borodin (183387) lived through especially exciting—but also challenging— times as a member of the circle of trailblazing composers who flourished in St. Petersburg in the 1860s and who became known as “The Five” or “The Mighty Handful”. Dramatic social changes in Russia, such as the emancipation of the serfs in 1861, helped prompt new questions about the purpose of art and its relation to Russian identity.
The members of “The Five” advocated developing an authentic Russian art music that would be independent of the standards that had developed in Western Europe. They were proud of being “amateurs” who lacked the polish of conservatory training, but learned composition from trial-and-error experiments instead. Borodin regarded his musical work as a sideline to his professional career as a chemistry researcher and professor. He became a highly respected scientist and made lasting contributions to biochemistry—especially regarding the connection between cholesterol and heart disease. Composing was essentially a hobby to be pursued in his spare time.
While his colleagues in “The Five” preferred writing music clearly involving stories (whether operas or programmatic orchestral pieces), Borodin stood apart in his fondness for the kind of “absolute” music represented by the string quartet—music not associated with a narrative beyond the notes themselves. Borodin composed the Second Quartet quickly in the summer of 1881 and dedicated it to his wife. Also an enthusiastic cellist, he gives the first theme of the opening movement to his instrument before it is taken up by the first violin, setting this melody-rich quartet into motion. Borodin’s obvious admiration for the quartets of Beethoven and Mendelssohn—the latter is apparent in the rapid-fire textures of the second-movement scherzo—was frowned upon by the more radical composers of “The Five”.
They also may have been jealous of the melodic gift Borodin displays above all in the dreamy slow movement, titled "Notturno", which would become his best-known piece of music along with the Polovtsian Dances from his opera Prince Igor. Both of these have starring roles in the soundtrack of the 1955 film Kismet (whose Arabian Nights-inspired plot has nothing to do with the composer).
Borodin also shows his clever understanding of the techniques of counterpoint in the last movement, which begins with music in slower tempo from which the buoyantly paced main movement is derived.
The overall lyrical richness of the Second String Quartet has made it a beloved addition to the repertoire.

Schubert: String Quartet No. 14 in D minor, D810, “Death and the Maiden”
Schubert wrote his Quartet in D minor in 1824, when he was only 27 years old. Together with the other two large-scale quartets he composed before his early death in 1828 (his catalogue includes 15 completed string quartets), it is regarded as a monument of the genre. “Death and the Maiden”, as the D minor Quartet is known, has also had a significant influence on other composers and even on artists in other disciplines, including painters, poets and playwrights.
The macabre nickname comes from the second movement, in which Schubert varies a theme he adapted from an earlier art song he composed in 1817. Also titled “Death and the Maiden”, the song recounts an oldEuropean tale in which Death approaches a bride-to-be and demands that she submit to his caressing arms, or he will take her future husband on the day of their wedding. She hesitates, but Death repeatedly asks her, promising her a gentle and peaceful slumber in his embrace. Here Death is terrifying and at the same time an eerily soothing presence.
Schubert himself was experiencing an agony of despair over his diagnosis of syphilis in 1824 (an often fatal disease with no cure at the time). "Imagine a man whose health will never be right again, and who, in sheer despair over this, even makes things worse
instead of better," he wrote in a letter. Schubert often used the key of D minor when writing about death, and whole sections of this quartet unfold in this melancholy key. The first movement opens in bold dramatic fashion, bluntly announcing Death’s presence. Striking contrasts of volume add to the tension. The movement ends quietly, but uneasily.
The song melody quoted in the second movement provides the basis for a set of variations. An insistent, dirge-like rhythm suggests the unyielding presence of Death as the harmonic colours and figurations are varied around it. The hammering rhythms of the scherzo suggest another kind of insistence. The finale takes the form of a tarantella: a restless dance that, in Southern Italian folk tradition, was believed to result from (or was perhaps intended to cure) the toxic bite of a spider. Schubert here quotes from another song— Der Erlkönig (“The Erlking”) —about the spectre of death haunting its victim. The tempo accelerates even more frantically in the final section, as the players rush towards the ominous last cadence—back into the darkness with which the quartet began.

The members of Esmé Quartet, one of the most dynamic and refined string quartets of its generation, are true rising stars of the classical music world. Its name, Esmé, is taken from an old French word that means “to be loved”. The group was formed in 2016 when four young South Korean musicians met at the Hochschule für Musik in Cologne, Germany.

一躍而起
伊斯美弦樂四重奏以抒情、近 乎歌劇式的表演風格見稱。
她們在 2018 年榮獲倫敦威格 摩爾音樂廳國際弦樂四重奏大 賽冠軍及四項特別獎,轟動國 際,名噪一時。當時團員年紀 輕輕,更是獲得該項殊榮的首 支全女班樂團。同年夏天,她
們獲邀擔任法國普羅旺斯地區 艾克斯國際音樂節的四重奏駐 場嘉賓。
榮登國際舞台後,伊斯美廣受 邀請,出席歐美、亞洲各地 的獨奏和合奏音樂會。她們巡 演無數,不時亮相於重要音樂 節如瑞士琉森音樂節,以及頂 尖音樂廳如德國漢堡易北愛樂 廳。伊斯美於 2020 年發行首張 專輯,獲法國金音叉大獎評為 五星,讚揚其「抒情主義」, 形容演出蘊藏「空靈而清晰的 質感」,呈現「出人意表的深 度和張力」。
五光十色的精緻曲目
樂團即將首度訪港,為香港藝 術節觀衆呈獻「炫弦──伊斯 美弦樂四重奏」,演繹三首弦 樂四重奏經典名曲,當中包 括四重奏之父海頓的降 E 大調 弦樂四重奏,作品 33/ 2。此 曲深受四重奏愛好者喜愛,終 章巧妙地以突如其來的停頓與 其他驚喜作弄聽眾,故有「玩 笑」之稱。
音樂會的另一焦點,是被公認 爲偉大的室樂巨作——舒伯特
的 D 小調第十四弦樂四重奏, D810,「死亡與少女」。舒伯
特在 1824 年編寫此曲,當時身 患惡疾,精神萎靡。他去信友 人 :「試想像當人一病不起, 深感絕望時,更見諸事不順。 我的意思是,大星殞落,一切 崇高夢想終歸破滅。」「死亡 與少女」是十八世紀德國詩人 馬蒂亞斯·卡勞迪奧斯的短詩 標題,由舒伯特在 1817 譜上 旋律。舒伯特把該曲開首的 葬禮進行曲重用於此弦樂四重 奏的第二樂章,因而用上同名 綽號。幽怨的旋律暗喻舒伯 特背後的死亡幽谷,令聽眾無 不動容。
除「炫弦──伊斯美弦樂四重 奏」外,聽眾可在藝術節的其 他節目中一睹樂團芳蹤,包括 「繁聲流動──管弦與合唱音樂 盛會」,由伊斯美夥拍指揮家 吳懷世與香港管弦樂團演奏約 翰.亞當斯的弦樂四重奏和管 弦樂協奏曲《絕對的玩笑》。 樂團亦會在藝術節的另一節目 《水之書》中演奏,此作是荷蘭 作曲家暨導演米歇爾.梵德阿 的最新音樂劇場作品。

Quartet became an instant sensation
Known for lyrical, almost operatic performances that always seem to tell a story, the Esmé Quartet launched its international career and became an instant sensation after winning the first prize and four special prizes in the prestigious Wigmore Hall International String Quartet Competition in London in 2018, becoming the first all-female group to be crowned with this honour. In the summer of the same year, the quartet served as the quartet in residence at the Aix-en-Provence Festival.
After these initial breakthroughs, Esmé Quartet received invitations to perform in recitals and concerts all over the globe, from Europe to the US and Asia, appearing at distinguished music festivals and concert halls such as the Lucerne Festival and Hamburg’s Elbphilharmonie, among others. Esmé Quartet’s debut recording, which was released in 2020, received a five-star review from Diapason magazine, praising the “lyricism and airy limpidity” and “unexpected depth and appeal” of the Quartet’s performance.
A repertoire of rich nuance
In its Hong Kong debut recital, Esmé Quartet will bring three masterpieces of the string quartet repertoire to the Hong Kong Arts Festival audience. Joseph Haydn is acknowledged as the main composer who defined the string quartet genre
as we know it today. His String Quartet in E-flat major, Op. 33, No. 2 is a favourite among quartet lovers for its wittily designed final movement, which teases the listeners’ expectations with unexpected long pauses and other surprises, hence its nickname, “The Joke”.
Another programme highlight is Schubert's String Quartet No. 14 in D minor, D 810, known as "Death and the Maiden". The monumental piece is considered one of the most important compositions in the chamber music repertoire. Schubert composed it in 1824 when his physical and mental health was deteriorating. Schubert wrote to a friend in a letter: "Imagine a man whose health will never be right again, and who, in sheer despair over this, even makes things worse instead of better. Imagine a man, I say, whose most brilliant hopes have perished." Death and the Maiden is the title of a short poem by the 18th-century German poet Matthias Claudius and Schubert set the poem to music in 1817. He reused the opening funeral march in the second movement of this string quartet, which gave the piece its nickname. The overarching melancholic writing makes it impossible to ignore the shadow of death hanging over Schubert at the time.
The Esmé Quartet will also perform in two other Hong Kong Arts Festival programmes this year. In Voices of Hope and Togetherness—A Choral and
Orchestral Gathering Esmé
Quartet will be joined by the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra and conductor Wilson Ng to perform John Adams’ Absolute Jest, a concerto for string quartet and orchestra. The Quartet will also appear in the programme The Book of Water, an elegant chamber music theatre project created and directed by acclaimed Dutch composer Michel van der Aa.

– 第一小提琴 Esmé Quartet - First Violin
裴元希是同輩中最炙手可熱的 小提琴演奏家之一。
裴元希曾獲頒一系列國際間享 負盛名的獎項及榮譽,如 2013 年度德國顥科銀行頒發的文化 獎以及被譽為世界最大型古典 音樂公開獎項的「海洋古典音 樂獎」。她亦在多個頂尖小提 琴賽屢獲殊榮,包括在布達 佩斯的喬治·埃納斯庫國際比 賽、柴可夫斯基國際青少年音 樂比賽、在統營市的韓國尹伊 桑大賽以及意大利利畢徹國際 小提琴大賽。
在倫敦皇家音樂學院師承安卓 夫斯基博士並以最高榮譽畢業 後,裴元希隨即前往巴黎國立 高等音樂暨舞蹈學院跟隨加利 茨基及盧塞夫學藝,再在德國 科隆音樂院的米哈埃拉.馬丁 教導下取得演奏家文憑。

Violinist Wonhee Bae is one of the most sought-after performing violinists of her generation.
Bae has won a series of internationally acclaimed awards, prizes and honours including being named the 2013 Culture Prize winner of Hauck & Aufhäuser, the Ocean Classical Award—the world’s largest public classical music prize—in 2012, as well as top prizes in violin competitions of international renown including the Georges Enescu International Competition in Bucharest, the International Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Musicians, the Isang Yun Competition in Tongyeong, and
the Lipizer International Violin Competition in Italy.
She graduated with the highest honours from the Royal College of Music, London, with Dr.Felix Andrievsky and continued her studies with Boris Garlitsky and Svetlin Roussev at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris. She received her Konzertexamen with Mihaela Martin at the Cologne Musikhochschule, Germany.
She recently performed a series of concerts in Germany under the Villa Musica foundation, culminating with a concert at Villa Musica in Mainz with a live radio broadcast on SWR.
She plays a 1690 Andrea Guarneri violin on loan from the German Foundation.

在 2010 年,早早嶄露頭角的 河瑜娜在韓國最盛大的賽事之 一——東亞音樂比賽中勝出,自 此備受矚目。甫踏上國際舞台 初試啼聲,便接連在俄羅斯新 西伯利亞國際小提琴大賽及法 國密爾古國際小提琴比賽中摘 下桂冠,更在後者中得到兩個 評審特別大獎。她多次受邀在 各大音樂節獻藝,亦與多個管 弦樂團合作演出獨奏曲目。

Born in 1991, violinist Yuna Ha began her musical studies at the age of four, influenced by her mother who was an amateur violinist.
From a young age, Ha has won numerous musical competitions. In 2010, she was noticed after winning the Dong-a International Music Competition, which is one of the biggest competitions in South Korea. She made her debut on the international stage by winning the first prize at the Novosibirsk International Violin Competition, and later won the first prize at the Mirecourt International Violin Competition, with two special jury prizes. She has been invited
to many music festivals and has played with many orchestras as a soloist.
She attended Seoul National University with a full scholarship, graduating with the highest ranking under the tutelage of Prof.Kyung Sun Lee. She then moved to Paris and completed her Master's degree at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris. Ha continued her artistic diploma in CNSMDP and at the same time in Hochschule für Musik Weimar, with great teachers such as Svetlin Roussev, Olivier Charlier and Friedemann Eichhorn.
Ha has worked with many legendary artists such as Guillaume Sutre, Robert Chen and Pavel Vernikov.
She plays a 1968 violin by Ansaldo Poggi.

香港中提琴家劉子正以獨奏及 室樂演奏家身份活躍於國際樂 壇,其演奏獲《費城詢問報》 形容為「精準優雅」。他分別 在多項國際大賽中獲獎,包括 2014 年的威廉.普林士國際中 提琴比賽及 2012 年的美國星光 藝術家全國面試。其演跡遍及 北美、歐洲及亞洲。
劉子正曾以獨奏者身份與費城 室樂團及特倫赫姆獨奏家樂團 合作。他又曾於德國柏林的基 辛格頒獎禮上亮相,並與東京 四重奏同台演出。劉子正在學 期間為寇蒂斯學院交響樂團的 中提琴首席。此外,他又曾擔 任上海交響樂團首席,以及聖 地亞哥交響樂團及哈利斯科州 愛樂樂團的客席首席中提琴。

Praised for his “immaculately refined” style (The Philadelphia Inquirer), violist Born Lau has appeared internationally as a soloist, chamber musician and principal violist. A prize winner at the Primrose International Viola Competition and the Astral National Auditions, he enjoys a career that spans three continents. Career highlights include performances as a soloist with the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia and Trondheim Soloists, performance at the Henry A. Kissinger Prize ceremony in Berlin, and a concert with the Tokyo String Quartet in Los Angeles. Lau served as Principal Violist of the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, as well
as Guest Principal Violist of San Diego Symphony, Curtis Symphony Orchestra, and Jalisco Philharmonic Orchestra.
Lau graduated from the Curtis Institute of Music and the Colburn Conservatory of Music. He has studied with viola teachers including Roberto Diaz, Paul Coletti and Richard Fleischman. He also studied chamber music with members of the Emerson, Guarneri and Tokyo String Quartets.
As an educator, Lau has given viola masterclasses throughout the world, including the Royal Academy of Music, Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, Soochow University, the New World School of the Arts, Washington Conservatory of Music, and the Hong Kong Baptist University. He is currently Distinguished Professor of Viola at the China Conservatory of Music in Beijing.

許叡恩被視作同輩中最活躍於 室樂圈、前途最無可限量的年 輕大提琴手之一。在 1992 年 生於首爾,她自六歲起修習大 提琴,由首爾國立大學畢業,
在學期間師從 Chungsim Baek 及 Jungran Lee 教授。她亦在 大師班受多位演奏家指導,包 括大衛·葛林格斯、諾拉斯、 石坂団十郎、楊文信、王健及 鄭明和。
許叡恩已從科隆音樂及舞蹈學 院畢業,受大提琴家莫瑟指 導,同時作為伊斯美四重奏成 員,於呂貝克音樂學院修畢室 樂碩士,師從海默·繆勒。
自年少時,她已在韓國多個國

Cellist Yeeun Heo is considered one of the most promising young cellists and chamber musicians of her generation. She was born in Seoul in 1992 and received her first cello lessons at the age of six. She graduated from the Seoul National University, with Profs Chungsim Baek and Jungran Lee. She has been influenced by many artists through masterclasses with David Geringas, Alto Noras, Danjulo Ishizaka, Wen-Sinn Yang, Jian Wang and Myunghwa Chung.
She is currently studying at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Cologne under the tutelage
of Johannes Moser and also studying her Master of Chamber Music at the Musikhochschule Lübeck with Heime Müller as a member of the Esmé Quartet.
She has won many top prizes at national music competitions in South Korea since a young age. Her great passion for chamber music has led her to attend many international festivals and play in concert venues such as the Kumho Art Hall and Chamber Music Hall of the Seoul Art Centre, the Great Mountains Music Festival and McGill International String Quartet Academy in Montreal as a member of the YUL String Quartet from 2012 to 2015. She has been kindly supported by the Kumho Asiana Cultural Foundation and Artsylvia Foundation in Seoul since 2013.
She plays an 1873 cello by Luigi Fabris, Venice.
