HKFI Annual Cocktail Reception 2011
The above event was held on 14 April 2011. We had more than 200 guests and representatives of Member Companies attending the event. The ambience was delightful and the speech made by the Honourable Anna Wu, SBS, JP, the MPFA Chairman, was most stimulating. Your support and participation is deeply appreciated.
HKFI Educational Trust
Since its establishment in 1989, the above Trust has awarded a total of 150 scholarships to students from the local universities. During the academic year of 2010/2011, 16 undergraduates from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Lingnan University and the University of Hong Kong have received the award of HK$20,000 each.
Acknowledgement
Today is my last day as HKFI’s Chairman, and I would like to thank all my colleagues on the Governing Committee, the General and Life Insurance Councils, staff at the HKFI secretariat and all supporting groups for making this term a fruitful one. My best wishes to all new office bearers for every success in meeting the many challenges ahead.
