Bar personnel may request verification age for service. The minimum drinking age onboard ships sailing from North America is 21.

Seapass Account Hold Charge

You may notice a temporary hold of $99.75 on the credit card your SeaPass card is linked to. The hold is used to secure funds for anticipated onboard purchases and will be released at the end of the sailing once your final charges are settled.

Personalized Services for Guests with Visual Disabilities

The Company provides personalized service to all guests with visual disabilities across the fleet, in compliance with the requirement of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and EU Regulation 1177/2010.

Safety 1–2–3

In compliance with our Youth Evacuation Plan, children will be given colored wristbands that correspond with their muster stations. In the event of an emergency, Youth Staff will escort all children participating in Adventure Ocean activities to their muster stations for reunification with their parents/guardians.

Smoking

All Royal Caribbean ships are non-smoking (including e-cigarettes) except for designated areas in the Casino (for active players only while playing) Deck 4 and Deck 11 port side. Please be sure to properly dispose of cigarettes, cigars, and pipe tobacco.

Wild Animal Sighting Advisory

Occasionally, wild animals may find their way onboard our ships. For your safety, if you encounter any animals onboard, it is prohibited to interact with or touch them. We ask that you please report any sightings or encounters to any of our Officers or Crew.

ONBOARD EXPENSE ACCOUNT

Setting Up Your Account

If you did not set up an account during Online Check-In or during boarding in the cruise terminal, you can do so in the Royal App or at the Guest Services Desk on Deck 5. Onboard Expense Accounts can be set up with a credit card, a debit card, or cash. Our ships utilize a cashless system, so your SeaPass card will be the only way to make purchases while onboard. Please note that a temporary hold of $99.75 will be placed on your card to verify funds. Onboard purchases over $100 will generate additional holds. The hold will be released within 3 to 5 business days after your cruise ends, but can take up to 30 days, depending on your bank. You may add other guests to your expense account by visiting the Guest Services desk. A daily limit can be placed on arcade spending. All charges can be viewed in the Royal Caribbean App or on your Stateroom TV. Printed receipts will be provided for each onboard purchase, and a preliminary statement will be delivered to your stateroom on the last night of your cruise. A ﬁnal statement will be e-mailed to you within 24 hours of departing the ship on the last day of your cruise. Guests on a cash account will need to settle their account at Guest Services prior to disembarking the ship.

Specialty Dining Reservations

Specialty Dining reservations can be made through the Royal Caribbean App. You may also dial 7000 on your stateroom phone and select the restaurant you wish to dine in or visit the restaurant and make a reservation with the Maitre d' outside. The Maitre d' can also assist you with making changes to your seating.

Room Service

Continental breakfast is complimentary. Both the All-Day Menu and American Breakfast will have a delivery fee of $7.95 plus an 18% gratuity for each order. To view the menu, visit the Royal App or browse on the TV in your stateroom. When you’re ready to order, dial 7000 from your stateroom phone.

GRATUITIES

How much are gratuities?

If not already pre-paid, a $18.50 gratuity ($21.00 for Suite guests) is added to each guest's onboard account daily to help recognize superior service from crew during your cruise. This gratuity is shared among dining & culinary services staff, stateroom attendants, and other hotel services teams working behind the scenes. In addition to daily gratuities, an 18% gratuity is automatically added to all beverage, mini bar items, specialty dining, and spa & salon purchases.

Splashing in the pool is fun but the pool deck can become slippery as a result. Please watch your step in this area.

Due to port health regulations, pets, flora/fauna, and food, including fruits, vegetables, and drinks, are not allowed to be taken off the ship when visiting a port. If you are traveling with a service animal, please ensure you have the proper permit required by local regulation. Food will be collected at the pier and returned to the ship for disposal.

Safety Onboard

For the safety of all guests and crew, there is no running, playing or climbing on stairs and railings anywhere on the ship. Thank you for your cooperation.

Just a Reminder

All guest under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult to depart and return to the ship at all ports of call destinations.

Local Port Agriculture Regulations

Please note that local port regulations prohibit the addition or removal of agricultural items such as food, fruits, plants, flowers, sea shells, bulbs, and rocks to or from the ship.

Beverages and other Liquids

Local security authorities will dispose of any liquids returning to the ship. Unopened liquor bottles will be stored onboard for safe keeping and returned to guests on the last day of the cruise.

Be cautious and practice situational awareness when exploring new areas. If on a Shore Excursion, stick with your group. If traveling on your own, consider alternative routes and allow yourself extra travel time to and from the ship.

Getting around in Castries, St. Lucia

Licensed taxis are available at the parking (main exit of the terminal). The Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception is around 20 minutes walk from the port and is said to be the largest church in the Caribbean. Other landmarks such as the La Toc Battery, the St Marks Colonial House or Governors House are relatively close by but not within walking distance. The Eastern Caribbean (EC) dollar is used in St Lucia and can be obtained at any bank. Most places accept US dollars, but change will be given in EC dollars. Most hotels, restaurants and larger stores accept credit cards, but local stores seldom do. Points of interest like Diamond Falls Boyanical Garden & Mineral Baths, Pigeon Island National Park, Vigie Beach, Tet Paul Nature Trail, Marigot Bay, La Toc Beach, Gros Piton (Mountain Peak).
