Shuttle Bus Information for Day 3 Sitka

Upon arrival in Sitka, there will be a complimentary shuttle bus operated by the port authorities taking our guests to the town. In our effort to minimize your waiting time for shuttle buses, we will issue Shuttle Bus Tickets for all our guests. The distribuition will take place, TOMORROW, at our Dining Room entrance, Deck 3, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. One person from your family may stop by and collect the tickets for the entire family. After this time, tickets will be available from the Guests Services Desk, Deck 4.

For Guests with Royal Caribbean Shore Excursions Shuttle Bus Tickets are not required. Please follow the instructions on your Shore Excursion ticket. If your tour requires you to meet ashore, please follow the time guidelines on the Shore Excursion ticket and no shuttle ticket is required.

Luggage Delivery

Due to the high volume of luggage, we will happily deliver luggage until 5:00 pm. If you accidentally packed any prohibited items or your bag was locked please proceed to Deck 2 midship after 4:00 pm to collect your luggage.

Children’s Personal Flotation Devices (PFD)

For the safety and wellbeing of children, children’s swimming pool personal flotation devices are available free of charge at the pool deck areas. Personal flotation devices (PFDs) are for use onboard the Quantum of the Seas and cannot be taken off the ship.

In compliance with our Youth Evacuation Plan, children will be given colored wristbands that correspond with their muster stations. In the event of an emergency. Youth staff will escort all children participating in Adventure Ocean activities to their muster stations for reunification with their parents/guardians.

Setting Up Your Account

If you did not set up an account during Online Check-In or during boarding in the cruise terminal, you can do so in the Royal App or at the Guest Services Desk on Deck 4. Onboard Expense Accounts can be set up with a credit card, a debit card, or cash. Our ships utilize a cashless system, so your SeaPass card will be the only way to make purchases while onboard. Please note that a temporary hold of $99.75 will be placed on your card to verify funds. Onboard purchases over $100 will generate additional holds. The hold will be released within 3 to 5 business days after your cruise ends, but can take up to 30 days, depending on your bank. You may add other guests to your expense account by visiting the Guest Services desk. A daily limit can be placed on arcade spending. All charges can be viewed in the Royal Caribbean App or on your Stateroom TV. Printed receipts will be provided for each onboard purchase, and a preliminary statement will be delivered to your stateroom on the last night of your cruise. A final statement will be e-mailed to you within 24 hours of departing the ship on the last day of your cruise. Guests on a cash account will need to settle their account at Guest Services prior to disembarking the ship.

Specialty Dining Reservations

Specialty Dining reservations can be made through the Royal Caribbean App. You may also dial [7000] on your stateroom phone and select the restaurant you wish to dine in or visit the restaurant and make a reservation with the Maitre d' outside. The Maitre d' can also assist you with making changes to your seating.

Room Service

Continental breakfast is complimentary. Both the All-Day Menu and American Breakfast will have a delivery fee of $7.95 plus an 18% gratuity for each order. To view the menu, visit the Royal App or browse on the TV in your stateroom. When you’re ready to order, dial [7000] from you r stateroom phone.

How To Purchase Internet Packages

How much are gratuities?

If not already pre-paid, a $18.00 gratuity ($20.50 for Suite guests) is added to each guest's onboard account daily to help recognize superior service from crew during your cruise. This gratuity is shared among dining & culinary services staff, stateroom attendants, and other hotel services teams working behind the scenes. In addition to daily gratuities, an 18% gratuity is automatically added to all beverage, mini bar items, specialty dining and 20% spa & salon purchases

Shuttle Bus Information for Sitka

Today, there will be a complimentary shuttle bus operated by the port authorities taking our guests to the town. For all guests with Shuttle Bus Tickets, feel free to relax in any of our public areas around the ship while you wait for your ticket number to be called. Upon hearing your number, kindly make your way promptly to the gangway. The shuttles will be operating on a rotational basis while we’re in port, however, we anticipate some extended wait times during the day. Please ensure to wear appropriate clothing for all weather conditions. Guests using mobility equipment may require more time to be accommodated on and off the shuttles. Whether exploring on your own or on a Royal Caribbean Shore Excursion, please plan your visit ashore accordingly, as the entire shuttle process may add up to 30 - 45 minutes, round-trip.

Guests with Royal Caribbean Shore Excursions Follow the instructions on your Shore Excursion ticket. If your tour requires you to meet ashore, please follow the time guidelines on the Shore Excursion ticket and no shuttle ticket is required.

Canadian Customs Form (E-311)

Canadian Border Service Agency (CBSA) requires that All Guests (including Canadian Citizens) onboard Quantum of the seas, to complete a Mandatory Canadian Customs Form E-311. Each form allows listing up to four individuals residing at the same address. Please ensure all questions are answered, and each guest must sign the form. Please put your complete stateroom number on the top right of the form. The CBSA requires 100% collection of these forms before you get off the ship.

All guests ages 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult to depart and return to the ship at all ports of call destinations.

Food for thought

Mandatory Canadian Customs Form Submission

Canadian Border Service Agency (CBSA) requires that All Guests onboard (including Canadian Citizens), including those who have no intention of going ashore in Victoria, complete a Mandatory Canadian Customs Form (E-311) sent to your stateroom. It is mandatory for the forms to be completed in a timely manner and returned back to the ship as this may impact the ship’s clearance in Victoria. We kindly ask that you hand over the completed form to your stateroom attendant or drop in the Drop Box at Guest Services no later than Noon today, if you’ve not yet done so. Please disregard if you have already submitted your Canadian Customs Form to the ship.
