The Herbert School is home to WRHU Radio Hofstra University 88.7 FM, FOUR - time Marconi Award winner in 2022, 2019, 2017, and 2015.
The only student-run station in the United States to have an exclusive broadcast agreement with a major league sports franchise. Official partner of the NHL’s New York Islanders .
In 2021, WRHU became the first student -run radio station to receive the World Radio Day Award from the Academy of Radio Arts and Sciences of America.

91 percent of Herbert School graduates participate in an internship. On average, Herbert School students complete 3.75 internships before graduation.
