“The European Journal of Health Psychology, the successor of the German Zeitschrift für Gesundheitspsychologie, will continue on its successful road to internationalization. Scientists and professionals working in health psychology across Europe and beyond submit their work and create a platform for academic research and best practice in health psychology.” Heike Spaderna, Editor-in-chief

The European Journal of Health Psychology strives to promote theory and practice in the analysis of psychological approaches to health and disease. The aim is therefore to publish high quality empirical or experimental research as well as sound practice-oriented articles, current methodological developments, and comprehensive critical reviews of the scientific literature.

The main purpose of the European Journal of Psychological Assessment (EJPA) is to present seminal information on both theoretical and applied developments in the field of psychological assessment. Articles reporting the construction of new measures or the advancement of existing measures are given priority. The journal is directed to practitioners as well as to academicians: The conviction of its editors is that the discipline of psychological assessment should, necessarily and firmly, be attached to the roots of psychological science, while going deeply into all the consequences of its applied, practice-oriented development. Psychological assessment is experiencing a period of renewal and expansion, attracting more and more attention from both academic and applied psychology, as well as from political, corporate, and social organizations. EJPA provides a meeting point for this movement, contributing to the scientific development of psychological assessment and to communication between professionals and researchers in Europe and worldwide.
The journal presents clearly written original papers, reviews, and case studies in all domains of psychological assessment. European Journal of Psychological Assessment is abstracted / indexed in Current Contents / Social and Behavioral Sciences (CC/S&BS), Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI), Social SciSearch, PsycINFO, Psychological Abstracts, PSYNDEX, ERIH, and Scopus. 2019 Impact Factor 1.978, 5-year Impact Factor 2.258, Journal Citation Reports (Clarivate Analytics, 2020).

Journal of Media Psychology (JMP) is committed to publishing original, high-quality papers which cover the broad range of media psychological research, including various media, applications, and user groups. It is also open to research from neighboring disciplines as far as this work ties in with psychological concepts of the uses and effects of the media. In particular, it publishes multidisciplinary papers that reflect a broader theoretical and methodological spectrum and comparative work, e. g., cross-media, crossgender, or cross-cultural. Original empirical studies are accompanied by theoretical and state-of-the-art review articles. Preregistration of research plans is now also possible. JMP builds up on almost 20 years of experience in publishing high-quality research in the Zeitschrift für Medienpsychologie (ZMP). While ZMP focused on German and European media research, JMP takes up the challenges of the more globalized media world by offering an international publication platform with an internationally renowned team of editors and reviewers ensuring the highest scientific standards.

The Zeitschrift für Psychologie (ZfP), originally founded in 1890, is the oldest psychology journal in Europe and the second oldest in the world. An experienced international editorial board and external reviewers ensure that the journal’s strict peer-review process is in keeping with its long and honorable tradition of publishing only the best of psychological science. ZfP thus brings convenient, cutting-edge compilations, each covering an area of current interest. Zeitschrift für Psychologie is abstracted / indexed in Current Contents / Social and Behavioral Sciences (CC / S&BS), Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI), Research Alert, PsycINFO, Psyclit IBZ, ERIH, and PSYNDEX. 2019 Impact Factor 1.528, 5-year Impact Factor 2.172, Journal Citation Reports (Clarivate Analytics, 2020).

Online access to full-text Subscribers to journals published by the Hogrefe group (Hogrefe Verlag, Hogrefe Publishing, Hogrefe AG) are provided with access to the corresponding full-text online. The precise conditions differ between individual and institutional subscribers. Online subscriptions always include access to the complete archive of back issues (usually starting with the 1999 volume) during the term of the subscription. Individual subscribers Individual subscribers will be provided with personal access to full-text articles via email address and password. The online access is already included in the subscription price. A user account for the electronic access can easily be set up on our eJournals platform: https://econtent.hogrefe.com. Our support team at econtent@hogrefe.com will activate the access for our subscribers. Journals package for psychology journals: For an annual fee of € 329.00 / CHF 439.00, individual subscribers can also obtain online access to the full-text (in general, including back issues from 1999 onwards) of all 29 active psychology journals as well as the 12 archive journals published by the Hogrefe group (PsyJOURNALS package).
Institutional subscribers Institutional customers must pay a fee to obtain electronic access to the journals. Institutions have the choice between a print-only subscription, an eOnly subscription, or a combination of print and online. Prices are arranged in ascending order. Fees for online access to the journals depend on the size of the institution. For academic institutions and schools, the size is determined on the basis of the number of “full-time equivalents” (FTEs; students, teaching staff, research staff) and for public libraries on the basis of the number of registered users (throughout the institution, not single departments). Hospitals will be invoiced on the basis of their total number of beds (throughout the institution, not single departments). For all other institutions (counselling services, public authorities, commercial organizations, etc.), the size is determined on the basis of the number of potential qualified users within the institution, e. g., psychologists, therapists, counsellors, social workers, etc. (“Relevant Professionals” or RPs).
Using these indicators institutional customers are categorized in one of the four tiers (1, 2, 3 and 4): FTEs / Users
