“Carnaby is the first embodiment of the modern lifestyle.”
Introducing the Carnaby Collection: Modern, British, Craft.
Although only blocks from our sartorial home on Savile Row, the style and fashion of Carnaby Street presents a completely different aesthetic. Long known for its independent designers, trendy gear shops, and rock star patrons – the area was established as the beating heart of fashion in 1960s London.
In reverence to this mindset, Holland & Sherry challenged our in-house creatives as well as independent designers to capture the spirit of Carnaby through an array of original textiles. Our vertical manufacturing across fabric, wallcovering, and rugs allows for distinctive design – a characteristic forever synonymous with Carnaby Street in London.
explore color
With Carnaby, the creatives at Holland & Sherry strove to create their own color vernacular that can be described across all mediums. Our products should speak to each another – no matter how different their application may be.
the plaid challenge
In Autumn of 2020, Holland & Sherry Interiors offered a chance for our partners in the interior design community to submit a plaid for this collection. After dozens of intriguing designs were received – the work of designers Susan Knof, Sarah Peake and Kelly Hurliman stood above the rest. Their transitional and inventive patterns were layered over a complimentary color palette to enhance and diversify Carnaby.
“Anything worth doing is worth overdoing.”

“All colors are the friends of their neighbors, and the lovers of their opposites.”
Never restrained to just warp and weft, Holland & Sherry finds ways to push the boundaries of design and construction with unparalleled execution. Carnaby is not only a testament to the patterns that made British fashion so popular, but the tactile quality of the materials. Through cords, boucles, and other innovative novelty weaves, we assure you the surface is as exquisite as anything on Savile Row.
