“Dying is easy. Comedy is hard.” Whether that famous line is attributed to Donald Wolfit, Edmund Gwenn, Gregory Peck or Jack Lemmon, it makes NO SENSE to the original “ Jersey Outlaw-Jimmie Lee”. For Jimmie Lee, comedy is all too easy. It’s like inhaling and exhaling air. It’s how he communicates. That is to say, Jimmie Lee is a “Wise Guy”. You’re never going to get a straight answer from Jimmie Lee, you’re going to get a funny answer, sprinkled with “brutal honesty”. If he’s telling you the truth, you can’t get mad at him, right? Jimmie Lee has created a unique brand of comedy on the street in the vain of Don Rickles and Rodney Dangerfield.
