lateau State is one of the 36 states of the Giant of Africa, Nigeria. Home of Peace and Tourism, Plateau State is a state with diversity of religion, of cultures and of ethnicities. The state is endowed with so much natural resources such as the world’s largest known deposits of columbite, tin, which has also been exploited since the 1940s. Smaller quantities of tantalite, wolfram (tungsten), kaolin, zircon, and uranium are also mined. Lead and iron ore are found in eastern and central parts of Plateau State. In Nigeria, Tourism and a number of Allied industries, from travel to Hospitality, have generated revenues of N1.2 trillion, about 4 million direct jobs, coupled with many more in expanding value chain, which has generated over 10, 000 jobs in ancillary industries. The Tourism and Hospitality sector has made a significant contribution to the gross domestic product of Nigeria. With these potentials, Plateau State Government was poised to draw plans for economic diversification in the state. As such.
