Alive After 5 is a free summer concert series held on Thursday nights on the Civic Center Plaza from 5:00-8:00 p.m. in August and early September. This fun after hours event hosted by the City Center Partnership is a social gathering for co-workers, friends and family to enjoy live music, food and beverages in a relaxed outdoor setting. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy a fun evening out in City Center Mankato.

SEPTEMBER 1 CIVIC CENTER OPEN HOUSE – Join us early on Thursday, September 1 for the ribbon cutting for the Verizon Center expansion at 3 p.m., followed by an open house. Enjoy music and entertainment inside and out – featuring DECADENCE INC on the Civic Center Plaza stage until 8 p.m.!

3:00 - 3:30 pm: Ribbon Cutting Ceremony 3:30 - 6:30 pm: • Entertainment on Event Center Stage including the Mankato Symphony Orchestra, Dance Express Performers & more! • Casual Building Tours of Event Center, existing building, and MSU hockey training facility
