The City Council of Pemberton, MN, will solicit quotes for seasonal snow plowing and removal until 11 a.m. on Monday, November 9, 2015. Action will be taken on these quotes at the Regular Meeting on Monday, November 9, 2015 at 7 p.m. TERMS ARE AS FOLLOWS: Removing all snow from Main Street Plaza and Fire Department Hall sidewalks by 6:00 a.m. as needed, when one inch of snow has accumulated, or up to the discretion of the council. Contract runs from November 15, 2015 to April 15, 2016. Contract will be by the season. Quotes will need to be quoted per time. Party receiving contract will be responsible for location to dump snow. If interested party has a contract with a township, the City has precedence over the township. The interested parties must provide proof of insurance, proof of safety plan and own a cell phone at the time of quotes award. The snow remover must stand behind any damages they make; it will not be the responsibility of the City. The City reserves the right to enforce penalty if conditions are not met.
