April Board Decisions
Board decisions
The HWFC Board of Directors approved the following at the 6pm April 5 Board Meeting:
The following decisions were made: • The Board approved, until the next meeting of the Board of Directors, employees who are not absent due to COVID-19 related reasons may access sick time accruals without the need to supply a doctor’s note other than for compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Extend until the next Board of Directors meeting the suspension of the one-year service requirement and the requirement for a doctor's note for those with a personal illness to use the Leave Transfer Bank Policy with the modification that NYS COVID Leave–eligible employees are not eligible for the Leave Transfer Policy. • Feb. 1, 2022, Board meeting minutes were approved as edited.
• A deadline of two weeks for submission of Regular Membership Meeting presentation materials was approved.
• The Board recommended to the Membership a vote to be held at a Special Membership Meeting in May regarding pursuit of an opportunity with ECFC to bring a food co-op to downtown Schenectady.
