Dameisha Beach

The beach is often snubbed by locals because it is sometimes crowded. But the walk along the fine white sands of this beach is beautiful indeed and the entry is free. There are numerous activities for tourists such as paragliding, jet skiing, etc.


Dapeng Fortress

This fortress was used to defend China from Japanese pirates and later to ward off the British during the opium wars. This fortress remains a rich source of heritage, and one must really walk along the nearby lanes to get a sense of the place.
