We’ll experiment with different surfaces to draw pictures, then cut away the areas we will not print before painting and transferring our prints to make unique art pieces filled with layers of color and various textures. Have a blast as you see your work evolve from a sketch to stamping, peeling off the ink transfer, and finally seeing your finished piece! Week 3: July 14–July 18

Instructor: Marion Buricatu Oil painting, a favorite medium of some of history’s greatest painters, is an essential skill for any artist, whether working in a traditional or contemporary style. This versatile medium allows for the creation of rich textures, depth, and vibrant color. In just one week, you’ll explore diverse techniques, from painting landscapes outdoors in the “plein air” tradition to creating bold, expressive brushstrokes in contemporary abstract works. Week 4: July 21–July 25 | 9 to 11:30 p.m.
