MAD! Is what these guys from Rebel Inc. SOLD album mainly show with their hardcore songs that somehow remind me to Rise Against The Machine style, but somehow different, or not? Now, the band couldn’t be considered a copy either as some of their songs prove unique stuff that would make you head banging or get you up and make you mosh all around wherever you are listen this guys out!
Christmas carols have never sounded so awesome… And one prove of it is the last Family Force 5 Christmas Pageant album where the awesome band bring us some of the most famous and known carols on FF5 sick style that would blow you away. Songs like Carols of the Bells demonstrate what I mean about awesomeness! With an electronic and crunk style that would make eve, people who hate Christmas Carols, to dance and put their arms on the air… So there are only two things I would recommend you to do: 1.. You most get the album And 2.. YOU MOST GET THE ALBUM!
SICK! is the first expression it comes to you when you get listen the self titled EP from the band Von Isley. With old metal (Really original metal) mixed with creepy riffs, the entire EP is a most have CD for all those who love great music and those who like real metal music. So if you are fan of Metallica for example, you could easily and I am pretty sure you would LOVE! the CD. Songs like March of the Glorious Order, Lullaby or even Strike would totally prove what I am saying! Go now to the link below and I dare you to listen them. Trust me, you would love them ASAPAPAP!

AWESOMENESS... When I heard for the first time about the band Slants, their music was really great and cool. Then I check out their album and the greatness and coolness turned immediately in AWESOMENESS.
Sounds like Athlete, but more Awesome... With catchy music, The Balconies bring us an Indie masterpiece CD that would put you to dance or sing over and over again.
Noise hasn’t never sound so AWESOME!... And a proof of that is the lastest Japanesse Alternative electric band.
Songs like No More Regrets, remind me to the band called Fuel; but don’t get me wrong, this band is not a copy of them or something like that, but if you get the chance to listen the song you would not what I mean. The entire album is full of pure rock that would blow you away and at least one song would become your favorite! Trust me…

Interview 1. How We Are They Start?? A meteor crash. Once upon a time, on a cold, stormy Sunday morning, when the sky was black and full of tumultuous, rage-filled thunder clouds, and the earth shook with terrifying tremors and the roiling seas were full of roils, there was a meteor crash. At the same time halfway across the planet, some kids auditioned to be in a band. We believe that, despite being hundreds of miles away and not even news worthy, the meteor was the cause of the awesomeness that is We Are They. 2. what's the main thing you guys want to transmit with your music (what' s your massage)?? Pants-rocking fun. 3. what's your method when you guys gonna write a song?? We all play until somebody points out something they like. There's not a lot of planning that goes into it. We just play what we like. 4. which is your inspiration at the time to write a song?? Liking something that somebody plays. And love. Sweet love. 5. what are We Are They Influences? Well, music is a big one. Any music that makes us feel good influences us. We're also influenced by long walks on the beach, interracial marriages and Wal-mart greeters.
6. what you guys do when you are not in tour? Well, being that we are not on tour about 99.9% of the time, we do everything. Play music, play video games, eat food, swim... anything you can think of, we do. Except all the stuff that we don't do. 7. with which band would you guys would love to share stage?? Any of our favorite bands, really. I'm sure we'd all love to share the stage with Muse. Limp Bizkit, Gorillaz, Dream Theater, System of a Down, Korn, and other bands that we like. 8. which is the album you guys can't stop to listen or "song" if you guys don't have album?? Well, we all are always listening to different things than each other. But I think the one that we all listen to most is Love Bug by the Jonas Brothers. That was sarcasm. 9. what plans you guys are making for the future?? Well, we are looking forward to the release of our album. After that we are planning to tour, make money, and eventually take over the planet. 10. which country would you always dream to play or visit?? Well, I know that we're all really anxious to play in Europe. Antarctica is also very high on our list. 11. which has been the greastest day in the life of all of you guys?? The day we received these interview questions. 12. which are your hobbies?? We all love playing our respective instruments as a hobby. We spend a lot of time playing video games and watching movies as well. 13.are you OK, like the band is going now?? Well, we are making more money right now than we've made in our entire history and that's nice. We'd really love to have our album finished finally and that seems to be coming up shortly. I personally think our writing just gets more creative and interesting the more we write, and that makes me tingle with happiness. 14. I know bands play pranks each other, which has been the funniest prank you guys have been or took part during a tour or show? One time we locked Tyler in our bus and filled it with tear gas and killer bees. We filmed it and sold a small number of films on ebay. It was great. 15. If you were on a tour and your van or car stops in the middle of nowhere, who would you guys send to walk 55 miles to the Gas station? We'd probably send Markandeya because he has way too much energy. 16. And while that person goes for help, you guys are starving and the only way to survive is eat each other, who would you eat first? Well, it's a good thing we sent Markandeya because he would provide next to no nourishment. So we'd probably eat Andrew because everyone knows that the bassist is the most worthless member of the band. Contact: Mgmt: 714.904.7310 www.myspace.com/wearethey
Word Of Truth..... Page 16-17 Von Isley show coverage review.... 18-19 Von Isley Interview.... 20-21 TV Review..... 22-23 On Business.... 24-25
Word Of Truth Think About Today
13Go to now, ye that say, to day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: 14Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. James 4:13-14
How many times we have heard people thinking about the future? How many times have we even thought we would end the day of today, to live the day of tomorrow? In today’s Word Of Truth, we would continue going through the book of James, which as we later say when we started with this book, it is supposed to be wrote by James the brother of Jesus here on earth. As we later explained and probably may of you may already know, this book is one of the greatest books for Christianity, as the just 5 chapters that contain this book, teach us a lot of truths on Christian life, etc. The book of James talk us about thinking of the future; but mostly think that we would live by ourselves through the future, like that we are the ones who really control our lives —and now in days with corruption and the years of living that everyday is cutting less— is one of the humanity greatest mistakes. Because people like or not, the only one who is in control of the past, future and present is HIM (God); and that’s what today passage tell us for example on verse fourteenth where it says that our life is like vapour or a mist that stay for a quite time, but then it vanished away. Later on the same passage, it tell us how we should live our lives and it says that we should say if the LORD wants me to live next day or do this or that (Verse 15th). So again, I repeat, He is the one which is in control of everything and really doesn’t matter if we like it or not; but He is the one who makes everything happens for good or for bad.
So to resume the passage of today, as we have been going through the entire passage, the key of today passage is to live everyday asking God what he want us to do and not think as ignorants that we can live everyday like if we were the owners of our life. The only owner of an invention is the inventor; and the inventor can do whatever he want with his invention. What that means is that, as the inventor or creator of something is sovereign (He can do whatever he wants without give an reason back), that way God is sovereign and he is the creator of the World. So if he wants to erase one of his creatures from the creation, just as a creator or inventor can easily take in or out anything of his creation or invention; but something you can be sure and is that God only do well, probably for some may not be right and I think probably God don’t want them to think that way, but at the end one person would see the accident, catastrophe or death and would glorify God. Sounds impossible, but it’s a truth. Rafael Jóvine ChriRock Minister
Review The Place Massilon, Ohio 1/16/10 7pm by Mike Reardon So much of what litters the metal music scene these days is the same old, bland pop metal, scream-o, or emo that has been done to death. Don't get me wrong, a few bands have risen from these pale ashes to produce some quality stuff, but where is the creativity? Where is the artistry? On January 1st, I had the pleasure to catch Von Isley at The Place in Massilon, Ohio. From the first song, "Strike", the sheer old school metal power tore through the small venue, and the current metal trends, like a roaring lion and a breath of fresh air. The shock on the crowd's faces (from the blistering guitar riffs of Josh Isley and the powerful, yet angelic vocals of Jennifer Isley) proved we were in for an incredible ride! J. Bennett and Bill Lynn (on bass and drums respectively) proved just as powerful on the next song, "Dragonslayer", a tune just as strong as the best stuff coming out of Europe these days. "I Am", a new song (and sadly not available on their 5 song EP), started out as a haunting echo, then transformed into a furious fireball, filling the room with infectious energy! You would swear this band are seasoned old pros! "Lullaby", was their next song, with Josh taking vocals. A pleasant mix of Pink Floyd and good Metallica, this song deserves radio play and could be the bands breakthrough song once it does get played. But not to be content with resting too long, they were back to full force with "Eruption of Destruction", Jen's snarling vocals showing the ferocity of the song's lyrics! Finally, and all too soon, they ended the set with the battle cry, "March of the Glorious Order", my favorite track on the EP and live. Overall, this was an incredible show by an incredible band that deserves to get noticed. If you are a fan of Euro Metal, Old School Metal, or just looking for something new, I would strongly recommend checking out Von Isley as soon as possible! You won't be disappointed!
I also had the pleasure of sitting down with the band, after the show, to ask them a few questions for Vents Mag. Here's what they had to say: 1. Whats the bands meaning? (Name meaning?) (Joshua) Well, it's really just our (Jennifer and Joshua's) last name with "Von" in front of it because it sounds more metal that way! 2. How the band started? (Joshua) Jennifer and I had always wanted to form a metal band but with more of a positive message than most bands. We started playing with another guitarist friend of ours, Scott, and that really was the formation of the band. 2a. How did you find the other members? (Joshua) We found Rob, our original drummer, online in a musician search site. After some emails back and forth we met him and started writing songs. Scott left the band for personal reasons and at about that same time we found our first bass player. A week before the band's first show, that bass player quit! So we scrambled! Jen and J. had been friends since high school, so she called him and asked him if he would fill in for the show. He played that gig and it went so great that he's been with us ever since. In a shocker, Rob and his family moved out of state late last year, leaving us without a drummer. Jen, J. and Bill all went to school together so we got met with Bill, talked about the band and decided to give it a go. We just played our first show with him and the response has been awesome! 3. What's the message? (Jennifer) Hopefully it's a message of hope. (Joshua) Yeah, there's a battle type theme to our music and we want it to be encouraging. Basically, there are battles in life that we face everyday, some big, some small. With determination and faith you can win those fights and come out better than you were. 4. What's the method at the time of writing a song? (J.) Josh comes up with the riffs. (Joshua) Yeah, I write a ton of riffs, maybe too many! (laughs) How and if they fit together J. and I kinda work on that together. He's really good at arranging them and adding transitions. (J.) Once we play the skeleton of the song at practice the whole band gives input on how to enhance it and give it life. (Jennifer) To write the melodies I listen to a demo recording of the songs over and over again. Then section by section I get a feel for the music and how I think the vocals should sound. (Joshua) The vocals are definately the icing on the cake. They really make the song.
6. Who are our influences? (Jennifer) First and foremost, Freddy Mercury then David Bowie and Debbie Harry. I listen to a lot of metal in school but those three were a constant. (Joshua) For me, Megadeth, Stryper, Deliverance, Nightwish, Hammerfall and yes, even ABBA. I know I'll get made fun of for that last one! As far as one particular musician, I'd have to say Dave Mustaine. (J.) ABBA? Really? Oh well, mine include NIN, Megadeth, Type-O, Machinhead, Fear Factory, Vast and Queensryche. Individuals I'd say Trent Reznor and Cliff Burton. (Bill) My drumming influences include John Bonham, Terry Bozzio and Mickey Hart. I have a somewhat diverse list of groups that have influenced me and shaped my drumming style. Everyone from Peter Gabriel to Nine Inch Nails and Bob Marley to Sepultura! 7. Plans for the future? (Bill) Continue to evolve as an artist and continue to advance Von Isley by growing it's fanbase, playing with as many bands as possible and develope and record new music. (Joshua) It sounds like Bill actually has a plan! I'll just say that We plan to record our first fulllength CD this year and play some bigger venues. (J.) Yes and maybe add some instrumentation. 8. Which place would we like to play? (Jennifer) Would love to play in other countries, so not anywhere specifically. (Joshua) I'm with Jen, doing a tour in other countries would be great! (J.) Hmm, Wembley Stadium, but only if we could fill it! (Bill) Playing in exotic locations such as. . . the Dominican Republic! 9. Funniest prank any of us have been part of before or after a show? (Joshua) We're all friends so we usually goof off and joke around together. (Bill) Nobody's pulled any pranks on anyone. . . . yet! 10. Hobbies? (Bill) Art and music. Painting, sculpting, drum set drumming and drum circle facilitation. (J.) I like working on construction projects, going to the movies and playing my PS3. (Jennifer) Taking care of my son, kind of a full time job really! Cosmetology, going to vintage stores to shop for clothes, theater tech and music, of course. (Joshua) Spending time with my son, watching movies, PS3, playing guitar and I love to act. 11. Are they ok as the band is going right now? (Do you like the way the band is going) (Jennifer) I like what we are doing and how we are doing it. Hopefully we will have a bit more stability with the members we have now. (smiles) (J.) The band is definately still growing, but it's going in the right direction. (Joshua) I would agree with J., our style is becoming more defined as we go and it's showing in our music and performances. (Bill) As a newbie, I see great potential for the growth of this young band and look forward to being a part of it.

TV ReView
Review For decades there has been alot of medical series worldwide such as: ER, Grey’s Anatomy, Third Watch and alot more. One of those series and the one we would be talking about today is Dr House. The medical series that in a way change the normal medical series we met before that show by creating probably one of the most AWESOME doctor on the history. At the beginning of the serie, we start meeting Dr. House and the first thing we noticed is, his sarcasm and later his addiction to Vicodin. Later in this new season we see the same doctor, distoxicated and that was one of the things I wait during the 5 seasons; more especifically when he get addicted to Vicodin. And I have to say, so far, Gregory House still been the awesome and great doctor of always, but distoxicated of course. For some people, and after watched the rankins of the show, the producers and people behind House have done alot of mistakes like: Kill Kurtner or lately as I read a week ago, Kick out Dr. Alison Cameron out of the show (Althought lately producers say they may invite her back as guest on future episode on this season 6). Things like that and probably some many more, have been lowing down rankins on this show and I personally would hate see this show go out of air, because of such things. Season 6 as I later mentioned, it was one of the most waited seasons for many, probably because the last episode from season 5 leave us with an such suspense and anxious to know what is going to happen with rebelious and sarcastic Dr. House locked on a Rehab hospital.
After watch for 2 hours to Dr. House changing his actitude and turning out into a different person (althought not too much), we start the season with the farewell of Dr. House from the hospital and the curious case which comes to the hospital with some hands paralyzis to later turned into a weird case of alucination and many stuff; later, we see the departure of two doctors from House team and the addition of Dr. Cameron and Chase, part of the old team from the first 3-4 seasons, plus House return only as a medical diagnostic help, but not as the boss as he later was; then on the dictator episode we see that Chase get himself into a HUGE problem and Foreman get involved too. This season in my opinion has been, probably not what I expecct, I would even dare to say few things where unexpected for me such as: The return of chase to the team again, Dr. Cameron Departure and many things; but after that, I think the series have been going down and going up, each show makes me stay without even go to the bathroom, while others are not sooo surprising and cool. But I hope and I think it could happen. House would stay probably more on air that many shows, I mean, ER stay like what? 15 seasons... I think House could stay 16 or 17 seasons more...
Review Lately alot of Clothing companies have appeared on the internet; so many that it’s becoming more and more on a great business for many people out there that wants to win money and at the same time have their designs out there in the world. It truth there is ALOT of this type of Clothing Brand; but only a few ends spreading out their word and their designs to a point that even celebrities wear their designs. Today we are going to present you one of those Brands that their designs are wear by celebrities from TV and media as well... Kill Brand Clothing.
Interview 1. What's the meaning behind Kill Brand? It contains a meaning or it was just a "Looking for name for the brand and that name came up? The name is not meant to be violent at all. Its very tongue and cheek, it started as shock value, but i have always had a love for design, art, and fashion. 2. How did Kill Brand Clothing begin? I started Kill brand as a joke really. I was wearing a hot pink tee all the time. We'll in 2001 hot pink was not as acceptable as it is now..haha. So i decided to Spray Paint K I L L on it really huge to toughen it up a bit. After that everyone kept asking me for a custom shirt. So i ended up trademarking Kill Brand from that idea. 3. Did you even dream about all this like famous people such as Ashlee Simpson, The Used, Scary Kids Scaying Kids and the countless list so far, would use your clothing? We'll when i started the brand i was playing in a band, so actually right from the start we had a lot of semi famous musicians wearing the shirts. (even as spray painted blank tee's from AC moore) Bands were supportive because we were both playing VFW hall's and basement shows 2 years prior. Luckily they knew that the company was based on underground ethics, and hard work so i have never had to really pay bands to wear the gear. But when i do see it show up on TV,or actors it is exciting because it's something am not directly involved in. Kinda feels like in back on stage when i see a band wearing a shirt on stage. :)
4. Different to other clothing out there in the market, what you think it makes different to Kill Brand? I think i make a conscious effort to do things that will not consider our brand a sell out, or cash cow company. I always try to throw a few designs in the line that some people will be appauled by, and some will love because most people will never wear. We have just had steady followers for years now, no huge rise and fall of fans, and i like to think that people respect the fact that we are a hard working underground company that they don't feel silly wearing or like every one of their friends has the same design on a shirt.
About the Founder: 5. Which things does Johnny Smith likes to do, which are your hobbies? I live on the beach, so I'm a total board sport DUUDE!!! I love surfing, and skatboarding. I play in a band for fun called Gentleman wolf. Music is really my entire life. I never stop tapping. 6. Can you please tell us more about yourself?, tell us the story behind Kill Brand... I'm a very simple down to earth guy. I really enjoy hangin out with my friends, going to shows. I love my job. It never stops, but i wouldn't trade it for the world. I try not to let Kill Brand define who I am. People always introduce me as JonnyKILL...haha what is that??...Ummm thanks, Jon is fine. My life is not as rock n roll as most people think. I spend a lot of time behind a computer, and phone. 7. What plans do you have, in this case, for Kill Brand in the future? We will keep Kill Brand going as long as i can keep the lights on. I actually started a line called KIDS INTO LIVING LIFE. We teamed up with Zack Merrick bass player of the band All Time Low. He is a great photographer, so we are using his photos for designs. The stuff he is sending me from the road is amazing. He's a really funny cool guy, so i think it should go over well. 8. For last, which tip or suggestion would you give to all those brand new clothing brands out there? I would say it all comes down to hard work and your connections, Meet as many people as possible, When i was in College, i got through it but i spent more time going to New York meeting people to promote the band. I interned at Def Jam, so i learned about business and marketing from experience. I'm very thankful for that.
