FD80 Skyline Hull Seven
Upon her launch, this FD80 Skyline was shipped to Australia for her world debut at the 2022 Sydney International Boat Show, where she was quickly sold to an experienced Australian client. Configured with a split-use skylounge, this is the very first FD80 to feature an open galley on the main deck. Within the four-stateroom layout, the interior spaces of this FD80 boast a contemporary yet cozy ambience, with satin water-bleached walnut and dyed Koto as the main woods and brushed dark bronze metallic inlays as accents. The open galley is highlighted by a large island wrapped in Les Origines de Rex white stonework. Thoughtful details are featured throughout, such as the integrated, slide-out step stool in the cabinetry. A floor-to-ceiling cabinet to starboard offers a wine cooler on its lower half and liquor and glassware storage on its upper half. Forward, the full-beam master stateroom is bathed in natural light from the large windows as well as a skylight above the king-sized bed. Three additional staterooms are situated on the lower deck, comprised of forward and port VIPs and a convertible twin to starboard. A washer/dryer unit is housed in the foyer. Quarters for four crew complete with a washer/dryer and crew mess are situated aft of the engine room and access the beach club and swim platform. On the uppermost deck, a wheelhouse with three helm chairs is enclosed, while the split-use skylounge features dining and lounging, a bar with three bar stools and a teppanyaki grill, and a large Jacuzzi spa tub with a bar counter and additional bar stools. BOAT DECK
This voluminous new FD80 features a four-stateroom layout with an on-deck master, an enclosed skylounge, expansive deck spaces and a beach club plus crew quarters. This is the first FD80 model in the U.S. to feature an open galley design, which further adds to the feeling of spaciousness onboard. She is also the first FD80 to be fitted with Caterpillar 1,600bhp engines and the Garmin Surround View six-camera “Birdseye” system. Horizon’s proprietary High Performance Piercing Bow and hull design affords superior comfort and stability for an enjoyable cruising experience. Fully opening glass partitions create an indoor/outdoor feel between the aft deck and the main salon, which features a spacious lounging area and dayhead aft, and a convertible dining table forward. White ash flooring and white oak finishes with walnut highlights enhance the open and airy ambiance. This particular design offers an open galley configuration, creating a truly open-plan feel on the main deck. A large center island with three stools and a modern overhead light fixture serves as a focalpoint, and full-size refrigerator/freezers provide excellent storage to the well-equipped space. The master stateroom comprises the forwardmost section of the main deck, while two VIPs and a convertible twin are situated on the lower deck. This FD80 offers crew quarters for four and a crew mess, which also conveniently services the beach club aft. On the upper deck, the pilothouse features an L-shaped lounging area and a dayhead, while the boat deck is fitted with freestanding furniture, a wet bar and BBQ area that can be shaded by an awning. Another trend pioneered by Horizon, the FD80 foredeck offers an additional inviting entertaining area, with a U-shaped settee and dinettes, and a large sunpad that also can be shaded by awnings. The new FD80 will be on display at the 2022 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. See page 76 for more details. This FD90 is an exciting new launch for the Australian market, in that it has been built to meet the Australian Maritime Safety Authority’s (AMSA) new 2C Survey requirements for commercially-operated vessels. The classification affords the FD90 the flexibility of operating either as a private or a charter vessel—an option that is particularly appealing to Australia’s active boating market.

FD90 Skyline Hull 26
Bridge Deck
Featuring a Skyline configuration, this five-stateroom FD90 boasts plentiful dining and lounging areas on the upper deck to suit the owners' preferences.
The spacious main salon is designed in the traditional configuration, with a large lounging area to port and a dayhead aft to starboard. A convertible dining table accommodating up to ten is positioned forward and easily serviced by the galley, which the owners opted to have remain open to the dining area. The master stateroom is situated furthest forward, with plentiful closet space and built-in loungers in the windows to either side. Four further staterooms comprised of two mirrored VIPS, a twin with Pullman bunk to port and a convertible twin in the bow are specified for the lower deck, with crew quarters for up to four and a beach garage aft of the engine room. The upper deck showcases the extent of amenities that can be incorporated into this voluminous, sub-100ft model. Here the owners requested a large seating and lounging area on the boat deck with a circular dining table for eight just aft of the enclosed skylounge. The skylounge itself features an L-shaped sofa with a pull-out bed opposite the dayhead and owners’ desk area. A large Jacuzzi tub takes up the space just forward of the wheelhouse and is surrounded by sunpads opposite additional lounging. The owners plan to cruise Florida, The Bahamas and Mexico after taking delivery.
Sold to a repeat Horizon client who was drawn to the larger tri-deck FD concept introduced at the 2021 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, the first of this model boasts a five-stateroom layout with an enclosed skylounge, open upper deck, beach club and ample accommodations for up to ten guests. The high-volume layout of the Cor D. Rover-designed FD Series and the increased interior and exterior space was a plus for the client, who purchased the boat while it was in build but added customizations of his own, including a full-height wine cooler in the galley and a cigar humidor in the main salon. Miami-based Design Studio JAC worked with the owner to create a timeless interior concept within the five-stateroom layout that is minimal yet elegant and emphasizes calmness and serenity. simplistic in its design so as to not distract from the exterior surroundings, the interior features high-quality natural materials such as linens, natural stone and teak, while European oak wall paneling and flooring throughout enhance the neutral backdrop. E75 Skylounge
This is the fourth Horizon yacht and the second E75 build for an experienced Australian owner, who specified a three-stateroom layout with an expansive full-beam master suite amidships and two large VIP staterooms on the lower deck. A large salon and country kitchen galley with a stunning center island occupy the main deck, while the enclosed skylounge on the upper deck comprises the wheelhouse and lounge/entertainment area. A bar with fixed barstools augments the entertaining space on the boat deck aft, while another seating and lounging area has been configured for the foredeck.
Upon taking delivery of his latest Horizon, the owner plans to join other Horizon owners in the Whitsunday Islands for the Owners’ Rendezvous in November, after which he will helm the boat from Australia’s Gold Coast to its new home port of Auckland, New Zealand, where the owner plans to spend much of his time onboard fishing.
While Horizon Yachts is known for its diverse series of highly customizable semi-production models, many experienced owners also turn to the yard to build their fully custom dream yachts. Such is the case with the latest Horizon Custom Collection (CC) 103. This is the fourth Horizon yacht to be built for an experienced Australian owner, who requested specific – and somewhat challenging – details drawn from the best aspects of his previous vessels, including accommodations for a helicopter as well as a submarine. An adventurous yachtsman who enjoys cruising to remote locations, the owner—having previously owned a CC80, an E84 and an E88—requested that his new yacht feature an exterior style similar to the Horizon E Series yachts. He also liked the interior space and natural light afforded by the FD Series and approached the yard with a request for a combination of both. Thus, the new CC103 boasts a unique exterior profile, with expansive windows and a spacious interior housing five large staterooms and numerous innovations within a 23' 5" beam.
