All new gloves should be treated with a good leather preserver. We recommend using (DB Scientific jess grease #809A, you can heat a small amount of it in the micro wave and then rub it on the glove lightly and then let dry before use. It is a good idea to use only one glove per bird and if your bird has been sick to discard this glove and get a new one.

Hand Sizing Chart The hand size shown is an extra large with a palm circumference of 10 1/2 inches. A standard large size palm circumference will be 9 1/2 inches, medium size 8 1/2 inches and a small is 7 1/2 inches.
You may need to order a custom-fit glove. To make a good hand tracing place your hand on a white piece of paper, spread your fingers apart and trace around your hand—being sure to hold the pencil vertical when tracing. Also include the circumference around the palm just below the knuckles. With this information we can then make you a custom fit glove. (Custom-fit gloves are non-returnable.) The Bullet leash is made from a super strong nylon cord, stainless steel and aluminum with an internal braided polyester core line that is UV and mildew resistant and is 16 inch long. The Bullet leashes use a 5/16” Bullet with break strength of 240 lbs that can be attached to your gauntlet or perch. They come with a loop on the end to attach to your swivel and you will need to make a small leather flap with a 5/16 grommet attached to it to attach the leash to your perch rings, this way a falconers knot is not needed. A straight antenna is important to the process of producing a strong signal. If your antennas are kinked, curled and have been straightened out for the last time, you might consider getting a new one to maintain peak performance. Field replaceable antennas screw directly on to the transmitter antenna stud. RT+ and PowerMax, Scout and RT Standard all use a 2-56 threaded 6061 aluminum ferrule with a 90 lb test nylon coated stainless steel cable. The 2005 Micro uses a 0-80 thread aluminum ferrule, and comes in two gauges (comes with light, but can use regular for larger birds). Antenna lengths vary between different models of antennas, from 7 to 13 inches long. Our BC trap has been used and tested by many falconers. They work very well for trapping Red tail hawks and American Kestrels. Our traps are made in a rectangular dome style shape that has a double dome wire wall inside to keep mice or bate animals from chewing up the nooses. The wire mesh is large enough to keep even the smallest mice inside. A double wire spring latch door is 5008 located on the bottom of the trap to put bate animals in through. The trap comes with a minimum of 50 nooses made from 25 pound camo monofilament line and the wire mesh is painted dull gray or tan to take of the glear. We have added a complete row or 1/2 rebar to weight down the trap, so the total trap weight is 3 pounds. A drag line should be attached to the trap when trapping for Red tail hawks size birds.
