We have plenty of ambition. This was the case in 1963 and it is still true today. After the company’s foundation, it grew from being a local provider to a national specialist within just a few years. It soon became clear that the Dutch market was too small for us. We wanted to enter European markets and preferably also cross the Atlantic to the US.

There is a great deal of expertise related to machines for the food processing industry in the Netherlands. Companies all over the world opt for applications that use Dutch technology. This is also proven by Urschel Laboratories, Inc., global leader in the design, production and sale of precise food processing machines.

FTNON and continuous development Consumers are becoming increasingly demanding when it comes to food. Products must not only be tasty but also have a long shelf life and be safe and easy to prepare or use.
The advantages of vibration transport
Processes in the food industry are more complex than ever. This requires suitable machines that help simplify processes and ensure that products comply with the requirements of customers as well as the authorities.
From its beginning in 1963, FTNON has developed machines that satisfy market demands. The R&D department continuously works on developing new technology to be able to process products better, more hygienically and more efficiently. The result is an extensive range of machines with unique properties and a well-thought-out design.

Key Technology BV produces inspection, transport and sorting machines for the food industry. It is a subsidiary of the stock listed firm Key Technology USA and the Dutch branch in Beusichem serves Europe as well as the Middle East, India and Africa. The company specialises in optical sorting and transport systems using vibration technology. This vibration technique is regularly applied in FTNON's machine lines.

FTNON: member of Holland Food Machinery Group Machine producers for the food industry are confronted with a number of major challenges, but we cannot stand still. Rapid technical developments and increasingly strict requirements imposed by the authorities and end users mean that we have to think ahead. It is important to work together with other partners in the sector. This explains the company’s decision to participate in the Holland Food Machinery Group, alongside the specialists Abracad Technoworks, Perfotec and BrimaPack.
PerfoTec Perfect preserving conditions PerfoTec’s technology mainly focuses on extending a product’s shelf life. The company possesses a wealth of in-house knowledge in this field and applies it to develop advanced solutions. One example is a new product that was recently developed for use in the United States.
Director Bas Groeneweg explains: "The American market needs relatively long shelf life periods. Fruit and vegetables grown in the US are of a high quality but you see that at the end of their shelf life a lack of oxygen causes odours to be produced. Perfotec developed packaging with micro-perforations that extends the shelf life by several days. Strawberries now remain fresh for up to ten days instead of just five and this is the result of a purely natural preserving method. The difference lies in the conditions. Perfotec is able to create conditions that offer the optimal oxygen level. The new packaging results in better quality and less waste. The company has just launched this product but it is already obvious that it is going to be incredibly successful. Therefore it is vital that the company can also provide a meticulous service. Thanks to its cooperation with partners in the HFMG, Perfotec is able to guarantee a high level of service anywhere in the world. All the partners operate on an international level. What's more the companies possess the right in-house knowledge to support our customers."

uptime to your packaging operation. One of the latest innovations to benefit fresh product packaging is the GEA Ultrasonic Sealing System that guarantees a perfect bag seal even if moisture, leaf material or contaminants are present in the seal area. With this proven technique, you can be confident of seal integrity right down to 30 micron films. The potential savings are huge in terms of reducing the seal reject rate to zero and eliminating manual re-work. Thinner films are also more cost-effective and environmentally responsible.
