Rieker Hot Marketing has been working with Rieker for 9 years and now We are Rieker’s marketing department working across all aspects of the business from instore, trade stand, sales literature and above the line advertising. The initial brief was to try and get the brand to a wider audience to include a younger demographic. Hot Marketing has implemented a strategy to build the brand, totally overhauling the look and feel through stylish photography and with the initial new tag line "Walk in Comfort Dress In Style". Hot Marketing has kept the brand moving forward through strong creative whilst adhering to corporate guidelines.

Rieker were using very tired lifestyle ads where the shoes looked like an afterthought. Very dated and not selling shoes or the brand effectively. See how Hot Marketing has transformed the brand through considered creative.


Rieker Totally changed image, new tag line, brand focussed stylish ads.


Rieker Moving to full page adverts - 2 bursts S/S and A/W. Comfort is a key message for the brand. Now asked to feature 3 shoes per ad without compromising look and feel. The shoes take centre stage, the ads are far more current and aspirational in styling. Creative has made the brand appear more stylish and appeal to a younger audience.


Rieker Finally the ground swell has allowed us to take Rieker on TV – 2 annual bursts supported with online and press adverts. Hot Marketing has an enviable track record of producing memorable TV campaigns whilst working within tight budget constraints. The first Rieker ad belies the budget because we came up with an innovative idea and teamed it with famous music which was funked up. Hot Marketing came up with effective creative, including new tag line Cost effective media planning/buying allowed us to get Rieker in front of 19.7 million viewers on national UK TV and saw a sales uplift in excess of 35% for minimal spend The second ad aired in April The third commercial will hit screens this September We’re currently working on S/S 2020

Startrite Shoes Responsible for coming up with the iconic brand identity, brochure design, photography, copy writing and print procurement.

Putting Startrite on TV Came up with the initial concept/script through to finished commercial including styling, casting. Ran a national TV campaign and did all media buying for this back to school ad.


Church Shoes Advertising, brochure design and print, POS, trade advertising, product placement on James Bond Movies.


Triumph Came up with the enormously popular bin the bra campaign as well as advertising, leaflet and brochure design, in-store events, promotions e.g. bin the bra, print buying and PR - a nationwide success.


Triumph Store Launches Often a new store launch can go un-noticed. Hot Marketing made sure that Triumph hit the headlines and garnered lots of shopper interest, not just through the ‘bin the bra’ initiative but through live events. Gained TV and press exposure by having classical opera singers pose as promotion people who then went on to give mind blowing live performances.

M&S Café Revive Hot Marketing was asked to come up with an initiative that would attract customers to the Café Revive Outlets in store, because strangely, people didn’t know they existed. Hot created posters – “Shop until you Drop into....” which were strategically placed in changing room areas and at cash tills, along with table tent cards throughout the store. Hot was also asked to compile training and marketing guides for Barista’s and managers, educating them about coffee and how to market the offering. Launch, Defend and Attack packs were produced, allowing staff to order POS and incentive schemes from Hot Marketing. Footfall increased by 20% over a three month period.
