Rebranding on a Grand Scale The Grand Canal Shoppes and The Shoppes at The Palazzo have joined forces to form one powerhouse shopping, dining and entertainment destination that retains the Grand Canal Shoppes name. This merger greatly expands the retail offerings of GCS and especially enhances the luxury fashion sector. HoC created a new multi-media campaign to rebrand the new Grand Canal Shoppes as a more fashionable and all encompassing destination. A custom photo and video shoot was held on location to showcase the property’s unique setting. The property’s large cast of singing gondoliers and other entertainers are also featured to convey the distinctive Venetian experience. The campaign includes print, outdoor, transit ads and a :30 video spot that runs on multiple digital screens from the airport to The Vegas Strip. Click here to view the video.

The Branding District “You might not expect House of Current to feel so at home in apartments, but we certainly do.”
We’ve recently completed branding campaigns for two brand new apartment communities in Houston, Texas – The District at Greenbriar and The District at Washington. Greenbriar’s campaign launched this summer, and Washington’s efforts will kick-off this fall. The two sister properties have several similarities, but their different locations mean they are targeting separate audiences. For Greenbriar, we’re projecting a friendly but somewhat sophisticated tone while Washington is a bit more fun and irreverent. Both properties are relying heavily on Social Media to get their messages out. HoC held a Social Media bootcamp for each property’s marketing team and controlled content for Greenbriar’s Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest accounts for the first month to get their program up and running. It’s safe to say we Like the results.

Setting the stage for back-to-school
Back Too Cute inside spread
What did you do on your summer break? We spent part of ours working on this adorable back-to-school mailer for Von Maur. Obviously, the heart of this project is catalog cover
the super cute talent show themed photography. The plethora of images serves as a basis for a cohesive story that runs throughout the piece. Then we created layouts that allowed the variety of different shots to work together. Finally came the fun copy and headers for each spread. It was a big assignment, but the entire project felt a lot like recess.
