Introduction
Welcome
to your spring/summer 2022 issue of Grampian Wedding Directory!
Finally and thankfully, things are starting to feel very different to when we last printed. To-be-weds and wedding suppliers will be in agreement, I’m sure, about just how wonderful it is to see the industry at capacity once more. Weddings are happening all the time and many vendors are so busy they’re booked out for months or years ahead. And a hugely successful Your Wedding Exhibition in March (it’ll be back to January in 2023 – read all about it on page 12) suggests this is set to continue for the foreseeable.
So, what can you look forward to in this issue? First up, you’ll find four real, local weddings that are all different but magical in their own way. Who will you read about first – the couple who braved Storm Arwen to say “I do” or or the lovely local wedding supplier who totally bucked wedding tradiations? If you’re feeling lucky, you’ll want to enter our free prize draw for dinner, bed and breakfast at the award-winning Meldrum House. Simply flick to page 127 for competition entry details. As always, our mood boards are set to inspire when it comes to themes but if you’re seeking some planning inspo, we’ve got Olympian Hannah Miley sharing her top tips ahead of her big day in August. Turn to page 8! All that remains to say is a huge thank you to team GWD who, once again, excelled themselves in getting this new issue into your hands.
Now, relax and enjoy your read…
