ith summer just around the corner, our Color Issue shows you how to crank up your color palette from springtime pastels to full-tilt color for summer. Each year, Patone, the world’s leading authority on color, announces their prediction for the “it” color of the year. Last December, Pantone named Tangerine Tango its 2012 Color of the Year. Described by Pantone as “sophisticated, dramatic and seductive, Tangerine Tango marries the vivaciousness and adrenalin rush of red with the friendliness and warmth of yellow, to form a high-visibility, magnetic hue that emanates heat and energy.” Since the announcement this captivating reddish orange color has drenched not only the fashion pages, but also saturated a slew of home goods as well. Beyond citrus fruits and Latin dancing, life and nature bring endless color inspiration into our homes.
