SuegraduatedfromDavisHigh Schoolin1960.Sheworkedin computermanufacturingforseveraldifferentcompaniesoverthe years.
Shemarriedtheloveofherlife JamesRobertLassiterFebruary27, 1976.Shepassed1daypriorto their49thweddinganniversary.
Sueenjoyedridingmotorcyclesand campingwithherhusbandandson BryanthroughoutTexas.She enjoyedspendingtimeattheirlake housefishingandboatingespecially whenherbrother&family,son, andgrandchildrenwherearound.She lovedtravelingwithherhusbandall overtheUSandwasupand readyatthespurofthemoment.

Oneofthejobs thechaincrewjobisprobablythe toughestassignmentbecausetheyarepartofthe officiatingcrewandmustnotfalterastheyroamthe visitingteamsidelinewhilekeepingupwiththe crewthatisworkingthegameandfollowingtheir instructionsallthewhiledodginganyplayscoming theirway.
Observethefolksintheconcessionstand.Ihave watchedmanyoftheconcessionworkersinmany footballandbaseballfieldsinourareaandthese peopleamazemeattheirfluidityoftheoperation. Thesepeoplearenotfast-foodworkers.Theyare notthelocaleateryproworkingataneatingjointon theinterstate.Theyaremoms,dads,farmers, electricians,nursesetc.Theyarenotdoingitforthe retirementplanorthebenefits theyaredoingitto supporttheircommunity andtheydoitverywell.
Sothenexttimeyouareatacontestatyourlocal school,observetheirdedicationandhustleand aboveallbekindandrespectfultothesefolks. Remember,theymaybetheonehandlingyourfood.

InfirstCorinthians2:14says,“But peoplewhoaren’tspiritualcan’treceivethesetruthsfromGod’sSpirit.It all soundsfoolishtothem,andtheycan’t understandit,foronlythosewhoare spiritualcanunderstandwhatthe Spiritmeans.”IbelievetheLordis tryingtosaythatourlackofspiritual sensitivityisthereasonwhymany timeswedonotnoticeHispresencein oureverydaylives.Yes,wearevery busy,andourmindsarefilledwith allthethingsweneedtodo,whilesadlyourmostimportantresponsibilityis ignored.HowcanwehearGod’s instructionsifourreceiverisnotdialed totherightfrequency?
