Jade was born out of necessity, at a time in my life when I felt the strings of change pulling all around me. Jade has stuck with me through the years and has become the face of my creative work. She sees things not as they are but as what they could become. She is ever-changing + evolving, absorbing everything in sight.

This is the story of The Jade Phoenix.
inst a lla t ion / fro m the ashes
It’s 2215 and our world has long been plagued with destruction, famine and war. Long before Jade’s time, our world was invaded by the Arthropodians who all but obliterated the human population and replaced it with their own. Their Queen is an unforgiving one- she kills for pleasure, she pillages for joy. No human force has ever come close to stopping her. Until Jade. Jade Wong is the last surviving royal from the Wong dynasty. She comes from a rare family of power and wealth but do not be fooled- there is much to her than her silken black hair and heart-stopping beauty. She is a warrior, a survivor, a renegade. On a fateful day in the dead heat of summer, Jade encounters the Royal Arthropodian Army and the Queen herself. A battle ensues- it appears that her human form is no match for the fourth kind. This is the story of how Jade, the last hope for the human race, refuses to succumb to evil. This is the story of how Jade, the chosen one, defies all odds and returns to Earth as the destroyer of the Arthropodians. She is Jade; She is a phoenix, rising from the ashes to save what’s left of her home, her people. She is risen, she has come.
