Corey Jefferson Walton was born along side his (deceased) twin sister Laura Walton on November 16 1984 to Albert K. Waton and Maggie V. Walton in Houston Texas. He was the second boy born of 5 siblings. He attended Willowridge High school of the Fort Bend County Independent School District in Missouri City, Texas. He went on to become a licensed barber and medical assistant. Corey accepted Jesus Christ as his savior at an early age and let it be known to all who knew and loved him. For those who knew him best he loved a good conversation. He strived to do good. Most of all he loved his family. He will best be remembered as a faithful son, brother, father, cousin and friend. Even as his health began to fail due to his life long battle with asthma, he kept a very positive attitude. He departed this life on January 24 2018. He leaves behind his parents, Albert K. Walton and Maggie V. Walton, his sister, Deena Walton; his brothers, Albert K. Walton III and Quenten Walton; a devoted fiancée, Chante Teal; two children Corey (CJ) J. Walton Jr. and Sherina Walton and a host of very close family members and loyal friends.

The Comfort and Sweetness of Peace After the clouds, the sunshine after the winter, the spring after the shower, the rainbow for life is a changeable thing. “Say not in grief, ‘he is no more’ but live in thankfulness that he was.” - Hebrew Proverb.

After the night, the morning, bidding all darkness cease after life’s cares and sorrows, the comfort and sweetness of peace. - Helen Steiner Rice
